Now closing restaurants at dinner time on weekends

After closing a lot of restaurants over the last couple years, to offer nothing but fast food, now they are apparently closing the remaining restaurants at dinner time on weekends. TA/Petro lives to use marketing about how they appreciate truckers and "leave better than you got here" etc .. but in operation they overcharge at every opportunity and treat us with the disrespect of a captive market with few choices. Truckers have high rates of health problems due to the function of the job and TA/Petro contributes to them with terrible food offerings that they are now making worse. It would be nice if they backed up the marketing and it could be done, there are examples out there but they probably don't squeeze the last fraction of a penny out of the profit margins.

Disgusting

Disgusting, old and unsenitized facilities in most locations. Truck repair service is a shame. They work against truckers wasting their time for nothing. Dragging time even for small things. Unfortunately this issue is the same for all major truck stops. These people just don't want to work.
Food service is horrible. They only sell junk food with limited options. Its unhealthy and even poisonous to eat. Almost no option without pork. Maybe more then half of usual customers do t eat pork. If you can't handle food service give it up for 3rd party you will still make more money and provide better service.
Management of this business doesn't make sense...it's like they don't want to make money..

Subject: Urgent Concerns Regarding the Tragic Incident in Baldwin, Florida

Subject: Urgent Concerns Regarding the Tragic Incident in Baldwin, Florida

Dear Travel Centers of America Corporation,

I hope this message reaches you with the urgency and gravity it deserves. I am writing to express deep concern and outrage regarding the tragic incident involving Keondre Taylor, a young man employed at your store, Travel Centers of America Petro, in Baldwin, Florida.

It has come to our attention that Mr. Taylor reported instances of harassment and racial profiling on multiple occasions to your HR department. Regrettably, these concerns were not adequately addressed, and the consequences have been devastating. Mr. Taylor lost his life under circumstances that raise serious questions about the safety and well-being of employees at your facility.

The fact that Mr. Taylor's family was not promptly notified of his passing is distressing and unacceptable. The lack of communication and the 24-hour delay in informing his loved ones are inexcusable actions that compound the tragedy.

Moreover, the reported injuries on Mr. Taylor's body, including knots and a swollen eye, suggest a situation far more complex than self-harm. We implore you to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. It is essential to uncover the truth and ensure justice for Mr. Taylor and his grieving family.

This incident reflects a failure on multiple levels within your organization, from the handling of harassment complaints to the inadequate response in the aftermath of this tragedy. We demand transparency, accountability, and swift action to rectify these systemic issues and prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

The pain and loss experienced by Mr. Taylor's family, especially his three young children, are immeasurable. Travel Centers of America Corporation must take immediate steps to address these concerns, support the family, and demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of its employees.

We expect a thorough investigation, transparent communication of the findings, and appropriate actions taken against those responsible for any negligence. Anything less would be a disservice to the memory of Keondre Taylor and a failure to uphold the principles of justice and humanity.

Boise

Boise, Idaho TA location Lisa at fuel desk is really rude she was arguing with customer and was calling him names in front of customers. This attitude is not acceptable and no one deserves to be treated like that

Your gas pumps go unrepaired for months…

Your gas pumps go unrepaired for months on end number 4 specifically will not take cards. You’re forced to go stand in line for 10 minutes sometimes on a busy weekend with one person working the counter.
Other pumps are blocked off with cones up up to five people wait in each lane for gas.
Been coming here for 20 years. The last year has been the most horrible with this truck stop. The restaurant on the weekends has only the counter open because they say they don’t have enough employees yet three waitresses share the counter area with one cook.

I would give them -5 stars if …

I would give them -5 stars if possible. Made contact with them about 2 pm for a road side call. I was told a 3 hour wait and it is now over 8 hours and still no one has come to assist me. No phone call saying they are delayed or anything. No one will even answer there phone so I can find out what's going on. Thanks alot TA. From this day forward I will not shop at any of your locations, get fuel, use shops or even park. Over the years your company has grown worse and worse. You care nothing about your drivers, nothing at all and you guys are nothing but a disgrace to the trucking industry. I hope n other drivers catch on and everyone stops going to your locations. Maybe then you'll be forced to close or be bought out by someone who actually cares about the drivers.

We purchased 4 batteries for our semi…

We purchased 4 batteries for our semi 11/15/21 from TA Truck Service in Florence, SC. The batteries came with a 1 year warranty. Our truck is in a shop in KY for some repairs and the mechanic said that the batteries are bad as they no longer hold a charge. The mechanic called the Petro/TA Truck Service in Glendale, KY and was told that they would not replace the batteries. The company did not even look at or check the batteries. I also called the location where we originally bought the batteries and was told the same thing. DO NOT buy any batteries or any other "under warranty" items from Petro/TA if you want them to honor the warranty because they will not. BUYER BEWARE. There are so many other places to take your business and I would suggest you do so. Customer service is horrible.

TA Petro full disrepect truck stops

TA Petro claim to be full service truck stops. Reality is they no longer are. Most service departmemt suck, resraurant are closed more than open. While Loves gets better they diwngarde everything. They raely enforce the reserved parking, and forget getting a refund, they are just as big a bunch of thieves as the jerks stealingvthe reserved parking spots.

TA Petro steals from drivers daily

TA Petro steals from drivers daily. With the over pricing they charge for needed items as well as the simple things like coffee. They over charge at their country pride restaurants. And now that we drivers need them. They have closed the restaurants. Because they can't make enough money. Pay attention to truckers appreciation week. They won't do a thing to lower prices. But they will have a whole lot of empty words.
