longest wait ever
waited 3 hours for my meal and didn't even get money knocked off i was really shocked. they said they had called but i had not got one missed call. even when i got hold of them and they said they would be 10 mins they were another half a hour. what made it worse is we have been saving up so treat ourselves to a take away but 3 hours later it flt more like a chore than a treat. the food tasted OK when we warmed it up. i will never ever order form here again. i found the website amazing there was some confusion on my address when the order went through but the team phoned me to clarify and sorted it . its a same the "takeawy" team dont work at this Chinese

Rubbish! DO NOT use!
Absolutely rubbish wrong pricing on website after I paid lead to nearly an hour delay on order before it even made by the restaurant. Eventually the order was made after emailing Takeaways.com it arrived nearly 1hr 15mins after paying then was told I had to pay again on delivery even then the order was WRONG! Lucky I paid via PayPal I'm now going through them to get a refund! DO NOT USE - BEWARE!

Order wasn't placed
My order was not sent to the restaurant, had to wait for over an hour and a half and then i found out that my order wasn't placed and the restaurant wasn't notified of it. Glad i hadn't paid.. Very disappointed!

I ordered food ar 8pm and an hour later I rang the chines take away to see where my order was and they said they'd only just received my order si it took an hour for them to put my order through. I may as well just phoned the Chinese direcy

Easy to use, well laid out web site. Excellent payment options, paypal and bitcoin in particular.
Would like to see more takeaways in Edinburgh using this, meaning more variety for the customer.
More restaurants need to take advantage of this web site due to the expected increase in paypal transactions following paypal's implementation of their 'Pay after delivery' service option, which allows customers to make a purchase of a takeaway, which is paid for by paypal at the point of sale, who are then paid back when the money is taken from the customer 2 weeks later. Making paypal an attractive paymenty option for those looking for flexibility in their payment arrangements. Those takeaways who offer payment by paypal, and more importantly to takeaway.com, those takeaways who transact through 3rd party providers who offer a paypal payment option, such as takeaway.com, should also see an increase in trade.
