I sent my equipment to a service centre recommended by their website and never got anything back. Effectively I’ve been robbed for a product I bought brand-new from the company. I’ve been trying to get an answer for years and it’s pushed me to leave this review. I always held TC electronic in high regard, until this happened. The support is a shambles. They don’t even have a contact number.

Paid for TC Electronic Finalizer

Paid for TC Electronic Finalizer – No Download Link, No Support Response

Complaint:
I purchased the Finalizer software from TC Electronic through their official website. The payment was successfully processed, and I received the license which I activated via iLok. However, the download link provided does not work — the page is broken and inaccessible.

I attempted to contact TC Electronic and Music Tribe support through all available channels, including email , website forms, and their official support page. All emails bounced back or were ignored. The company continues to sell this product, despite not providing access to the software or any form of customer support.

This is completely unacceptable and unethical. I paid for a product that I am unable to use, and I have received no help, explanation, or alternative download link.

I am requesting:

A working download link for the Finalizer software.

Or a full refund if the product cannot be delivered.

Immediate action to address this issue publicly and stop selling non-deliverable software.

I am also reporting this issue to other consumer protection sites and considering a chargeback with my credit card provider.

Useless merchant bankers

Useless merchant bankers - didn't even put an instruction manual in the box. Tried to get in touch to find that I needed to set up an account - presumably so they could bombard me with marketing drivel. How not to do customer service. Your whole approach just reeks of "we don't care about you - we just want the money" Byee, last cents you'll ever see out of me.

TC Manipulates Ratings On Their Website!

Dont just look at the star rating, but have a look at the reviews themselves. Most are negative to very negative responses, but still all ratings are 3 to 5 stars, while the complaint are clear and I, for one, cant believe any of these reviews got a positive rating from the poster.
It litterally says:"I would give zero stars if I could." followed by a 5-star rating!
People, do yourself a favor and stay far away from anything Behringer!

Beware Hall of Fame reverb unit TC Electronicss a performing musican here in…

As a performing musican here in Australia I rely on good reliable gear and TC Electronics have always been an Icon brand. I use a fair bit of their gear but the latest edition the Hall of Fame2 mini reverb with the SOFT Switch rather than the good old click switch falls apart the first one took a week then after waiting six weeks for the Australian distributor to replace it, two days and there it is lying in the bottom of my pedal case. Apparently TC are fully aware of the problem. So TC safe your reputation and do something about it. Meantime musicians stay away from the product. 229 bucks down the drain on a tiny bit of rubbish! It is virtually impossible to send an email to the company hence I'll play the media game.

Terrible quality and comedy customer support

I have bought two 200 euro looper pedals from tc electronic. Both had issues in a matter of months. The customer support is not existent. They don't reply to the store I bought it from. When I tried to reach them online, they diverted me to a forum. Where there is a guy named Rodrigues, that is trolling me. He is absolutely clueless, but still replies nonsense to keep me occupied. Feels like a comedy, except the part that I paid a few hundred euros in their products.

Very simply the worst customer service…

Very simply the worst customer service I ever contacted in my life. The current rate on trustpilot speak by itself…

They basically offer no support and will tell you (like some robots with pre-define texts) to contact the reseller if you are not happy. This kind of situation usually happen when a company is about to go bankrupt and they only maintain a legal service by obligation.

The device I got (DITTO Looper X4) is unstable, makes it useless on stage (I had two crashes during live performances, nice feeling…). The midi sync is even worse, when it works, it usually crashes even faster.

No more TC Electronic for me. This company is clearly doomed. I have very few hope to get refund for this piece of c***.

Zero customer service

I have submitted a support ticket for an issue with my g major 2 system. No one will respond. I have tried MANY times on instagram to get a hold of people here... They responded by telling me to give them my ticket number... I do so, and NEVER hear back from anyone. I can see why most major music retailers in north america have dropped all of their products. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM TC ELECTRONIC

Bad customer service

Bad customer service, their warranty doesn't mean anything.
Unitune clip tuner broke, just turning it on and off (They're supposed to be tough)
I bought it from Thomann who said TC electronic need to deal with it, TC electronic say Thomann needs to. So it looks like I´m stuck with a broken tuner.
before this I was just about to order a TC Electronic 65 Combo Preamp, I have now changed my mind.

TC Electronic Level Pilot is very noisy/dusty.

TC Electronic Level Pilot is very crackly and noisy - not a good product at all, especially for the price. The pot inside is not sealed and gets dusty. The sound is not as good as a other volume controllers I've used in the past. Luckily, I got a replacement, which I will now sell.

Impossible to get anwyhere

It is actually impossible to contact TC Electronic customer service. The musictribe site fails to allow me to register every time and there is no other avenue I can find to contact TC Electronic Support. I own several of their high end products, but will never buy again if this is how they operate nowadays.

TC Electronic Has Zero Customer Service

Just to add to what everyone has written....

Hell will freeze over before I buy another TC Electronic product. I bought a brand new Flashback 2X4 delay - currently their flagship model. Cost me about $500. The selector knob for delay type wasn’t working properly- too much play in the knob and it did not accurately select the delay type. Turns out the (plastic) knob was broken inside the knob where it grips the control stem. I created a Musictribe account ( a frustrating experience in and of itself) and asked them to send me a replacement plastic knob which probably costs them about a dollar.

TC Electronic/Music Tribes response ?

It may be under warranty, but we will have to check it to be sure. Please provide us with the shipping weight and we will have you ship it from Canada to the USA for repair.

My response ?

FU and the horse you rode in on. I returned it to the music store I bought it from and patronized their competition - bought a Strymon Timeline. Should have done this in the first place and would have had I been aware of their history of dismal customer service.

A warranty is only as good as the customer service that goes with it. In this case, there is none - hence no real warranty despite the fact TC Electronic states that theirs is 10 years.

I won’t ever buy another TC Electonic product or Musictribe affiliated brand.

By the way, Strymon does list both contact phone numbers and E-mail addresses while TC Electronic/Musictribe hides theirs. The old adage of you get what you pay for has proved correct.
