I sent my equipment to a service centre recommended by their website and never got anything back. Effectively I’ve been robbed for a product I bought brand-new from the company. I’ve been trying to ge... See more

Avoid this company and their products!!!!
Paid £64 pounds for a Polytune clip tuner and it just stopped working after 5 months. TC electronics did not want to help at all. They have no customer service and this is validated in many other reviews. Its a total scam in this day and age. Please don't put your faith in this company and their products. I doubt even that they will respond to this complaint!!!
No customer service at all
No customer service at all. Just a brain twisting maze just to get to a freakin' message box where you can address your issue - not knowing if you are ever gonna get a response.
I will avoid any products from TC and or Musictribe. what a s**t show.
Avoid tc electronic products
Avoid tc electronic products. They don't offer any service and it's a total joke of customer service. They play with you and they are basically impenetrable to reach someone. Since tc electronic got absorbed by the big conglomerate of Music Tribe, you are basically on your own with the actual product in case of a technical problem. Today's tc electronic products are also consumer quality. So Good luck

I got their polytune 2 and it is the best tuner of all time. Small, accurate, good readability, reasonable price, work both with bass guitar and very low tunes. Awesome!
JUNK
Bought a Ditto Looper x4 a couple years ago... i would be in the middle of a loop and this awful distorted sound would come out of nowhere and repeat like it was supposed to be a beep, but it was from the decepticons pit of robotic hell. Had the thing in storage for a year STILL on my pedal board, in it's case.. the thing is still in perfect condition hardly ever used and now it wont even work at all. Low and behold... the website is down and so is the firmware update etc. This company is a joke. The product i received has been junk since day 1. Big bummer and big waste of my money. Never buying another TC product ever again. Avoid like the plague.
Terrible tech support and problem units
I bought 2 M One XLs. One of them bit the dust after a couple of months. The other is working for now but one of the few midi operations I want to do, which is just make a freakin program change seems to be impossible, but I don't know for sure because I can't get a straight answer from tech support. It appears that the unit is not able to receive the normal midi bank and program commands that most everything else can and instead uses some kind of system exclusive commands. Have yet to get an answer on how to create the sys excl commands to do the program change. It's now been 6 weeks of back and forth.
Avoid TC Electronics (Helicon)…
Avoid TC Electronics (Helicon) products. Clearly they are junky Chinese products. And the fact that customer service has been avoiding service calls like the plague for the past couple of years is a clear indication that there have been a high number of breakdowns. And they will go bankrupt if they don't resort to ripping off customers. The brand has become a failure. AVOID LIKE A DISEASE. THE PRODUCT WILL FAIL. AND YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.
TC Electronic T2 Trinity Reverb: CAN'T STAND THE TEST OF TIME
I have owned a multitude of pedals in 15+ years I have been playing. I bought the TC Electronic Trinity T2 reverb as I found it to sound really good. Recently, during a gig, the pedal broke down on me. Turns out I had a common failure of the pedal. I contacted TC, as it broke down within 2 years. They confirmed the pedal had a hardware failure and asked me for the serialnumber. Somehow, they said the pedal was built in 2014 (!) and that there was no longer any warranty. I lost the receipt, so I can't prove I bought the pedal less than 2 years ago. I was very disappointed with TC, not only because of the lack of warranty for a known failure, but also because apparently, they don't mind if their pedals only lasts 2 years. I have pedals that are 20 years old and have never shown any problems. If I spend 150 bucks on a pedal, it damn well have a lifespan over 2 years! TC Electronic has a different view on that matter as it turns out. Anyway, I told TC I'm not satisfied and I'm also not replacing the T2 by another TC pedal. I think I'll try the Hardwire Supernatural instead. I've read these are great pedals and from what I've heard on Youtube, it's true. I already have a Hardwire stereo chorus, which sounds fantastic too. And even if it was slightly less good sounding, at least the Hardwire has held up the last 2 years!
once again caught out by poor customer …
once again caught out by poor customer service, no one responding to emails and requests for information regarding my TC Electronic BG250 115 bass cab. i have attempted repeatedly to get some sort of contact to see if a repair can be made to this hardly used, but out of warranty product of theirs. i should have known better than buy this, but you'd think that now-a-days with the amount of online reviewing that a company such as theirs would be bothered with little old me moaning. I mean after all, i'm just a customer. Bad show on you TC Electronic for poor products but mostly for poor after service.
