dishonest and unreliable
Many times I have found their reviews to be dishonest and unreliable
Used to like their reviews
Used to like their reviews, until I read the one about Sky Q when it became apparently obvious to me that Sky had paid them to give it a good review. As having used Sky Q, I have to totally disagree with their review. Virgin 360 has a far better and much easier to use user interface. It's basically an upgraded version of the Sky Plus HD interface so pretty much the best of both worlds as the old Sky interface was so nice and easy to use, unlike the appalling Sky Q!!! Their review of Virgin 360 compared to their sky Q review is also very short and lacks any real detail.
HP SPECTRE x360 15- Webcam blur image, brightness issue,Fan noisy and System hangs.
I placed an order for HP SPECTRE x360 15 on May2021 and for a long period of waiting, I received the laptop on last week of July 2021.
Issues:
1.Webcam resolution looks like the older systems and blurred.
2.Display brightness issue
3.Sometime any file processing it's hang.
4.Fan sound noise.
After received the laptop when I rectified these issues and reported to HP on 2ndAugust 2021,they confirmed these units having webcam issues, it's a hardware problem. So if you want you will get a replacement and manager will contact me back within 5 business days. I expected a call from HP till 19th August, then I contacted HP again, they connected to various departments, after escalation I contacted Maxine supervisor/manager(resolution dept) on customer support, she said I have to pay a restocking fee for this replacement and again 2 months waiting period required.I felt very much disappointed once i talk to Maxine. Again she transferred to Tech team and waited for so long time it's automatically disconnected, even after they didn't call back or no response. I spent with this call around 1hr 30 minutes. Still I am facing issues, hope HP wants only customers money, doesn't have a good customer support,
Poor customer support. Long time waiting. Need to repeat all issues even after provide case number. I faced a lot of inconvenience and it's affected my work.
HP sent defective system without proper quality check to us.
This customizable laptop worth $1639.99+.I purchased on HP.com.So please think twice online shopping and please rethink before goes to HP for expensive one.

So many ads on their website!
The ads on their website and articles take up litterally half of the screen when on mobile. Even though they have good and useful articles, I'm reading my articles somewhere else now. Looks like making money from ads is more important than functionality...
Completely untrustworthy

I discovered this complaints site too late!
I discovered this complaints site too late.
I read the article on webcams written by Carrie Marshall, Jess Weatherbed.
On purchasing one of the products featured, I was disappointed.
The info on the website was wrong, leading me to buy a product under my desired specs.
The Logitech C920 webcam does not do 720 at 60fps, as stated in the article as of 23.04.2021. Having made the wrong choice, I am now stuck with a camera that doesn't fulfil my needs, and am unable to return it. And they probably earned a commission on the click-through too.
Do not trust the above authors, or the article titled,
Best webcams 2021: top picks for working from home
I wanted to notify them, but Tech Radar provide no contact details. Leaves me no option but complain.
Very Crappy Stupid BS site !!
Feels like a scam
Just received the so-called zoomshot pro smartphone telescope. The product I received is different than the one shown on the website and it's performance is poor and has nothing to do with what they present on the website (they added very impressive videos) . To sum it up, I feel like I've been made a fool of... I won't be buying a screw from these guys...
Do they even try the products they "review"?
After reading videogame reviews from a number of reviewers about a plethora of games I can honestly say it feels like they may not even play the games before their write ups. Like...they watched a video and just took the tidbits they could type out quickly. I dunno, just...not impressed. Judging by some of the other reviews on here, maybe it's not just the VG section.
Techradar click bait
Techradar always lies on article headlines to make you click. Absolute trash. I wanted to rate it 0 stars
Misleading titles
Continuously hijacking subjects like "free this", "free that" , while most of them are paid applications. I mean to promote paid apps is surely not a problem, but don't hijack the subject with false titles on Google and then only promote paid or even expensive applications.
Worst reviews that these people give
I see reviews made by Tech Reader from the USA site and the UK site I'm very sure they are missleading people about smartphones, the people who review phone's must be getting back hander, because I have seen phone's up £1000/$1000 cheaper than they say they not look on AliExpress or banggood,or kimovil.com or Dhgate .do not trust Tech Radar
pick literally any other tech review site
The content that this site offers nowhere near makes up for the amount of ads on EVERY webpage. seriously, scrolling through the webpage on mobile is infuriating because all the ads loading makes the site almost unusable. not to mention that you will get three large ads on the screen at once, sometimes with one ad almost completely covering the other and oftentimes wholly hiding blocks of text in an article. example: constant reloading banner ads, excessive mid-article ads, scroll-through ads that regularly get blocked out by other ads, and scrolling videos that auto play and have to be manually paused. alas, an ad blocker helps, but there's still annoying swaths of the page that are empty or display a "webpage cannot be reached" img where the ad should be. not worth the ads, definitely not worth subscribing to. the fact that they feel the need to place such an incredulously ridiculous amount of advertisements in each article tells you a lot about the quality of their website and reviews.
Useless reviews, and maybe worse ...
I canot say anything about their cookies (I remove all cookies every couple of minutes) nor about possible viruses in downloads (I don't download anything from there, and if I did I'd download to a "sacrificial machine" before I allowed anything on to computers I use for work and hobbies).
What I can say is that whenever they have reviewed anything that I know about, or even own myself, the reviews have been shallow, and often just wrong.
It seems to me that they are part of the system (conscious or otherwise) that aims to make us dissatisfied with any technological gadgets we own, and to encourage us to spend, spend, spend on the latest and (according to them) greatest.
For example they assume that all photographers want to "upgrade" from the "amateur" APS-C sensor size to the "professional" full frame. What nonsense!
