return clothing
I recently visited Tesco Walkden and appreciate that the recent hot weather has created challenges with fridge and freezer performance. However, the overall condition of the store was disappointing. The clothing department was poorly organised, with stock scattered and items left on the floor. Several bins were also overflowing, giving the impression that basic housekeeping standards were not being maintained.
The store felt generally uncared for, which was reflected in the overall shopping experience. In fact, when I reached the checkout, I asked whether the store was due to close because it appeared so poorly presented.
Never trust them to help disabled people
My child is autistic with ARFID and tesco have repeatedly discontinued his safe foods, causing him to not be able to eat it when I finally find somewhere else that stocks them.
And they only do "sensory friendly hour" for 2 hours per week, which is no different than only having a ramp available for 2 hours per week. Store should be sensory friendly on a full time basis.
Tesco must be the worst online shopping…
Tesco must be the worst online shopping experience ever I would advise others to use any supermarket online other than Tesco. 9th June I responded to a voucher offer by Tesco to order an online shop. They didn't give me the voucher price and didn't supply the card offer prices and to top that the delivery man was a joke. He parked in neighbours drive and then moaned about the walk down the front garden. I observed a rodent chewed packet of crisps and I said You have to take this order back. He said that he didn't think it was rodent chewed but the bag probably split. It had chew marks in the corner and the crisps were spilling out. He said that I would have to dispose of it because he couldn't have it in his van if it was rodents! I took all the shopping to his van whilst he walked behind me saying 'you will still have to pay the delivery charge! Then when he was loading the van my neighbour came out and said to him' 'The frozen peas are missing 'so he had clearly delivered an order to them. He loaded my unwanted shopping back into his van except the rodent chewed crisps which he left on the floor. He then said' Are you sure all the shopping has been returned you haven't kept anything 'I said it's all there and you watched me put it back in the container to return it but please feel free to come and check. He grunted and got in his van. I put the rodent chewed crisp bag through the open window of his van and he drove off. Then I had the saga of contacting Tesco again A I WhatsApp which takes endless repeating before you speak online with an actual customer advisor and you are told can be up to a 2 hour wait. Eventually they agreed to refund my £84.81 payment to my bank account and said that it would take up to 5 working days. Relieved I relaxed fool that I am. Today my bank statement arrived and yes they did refund the payment and then they took the payment again I now have gone through the whole AI whatapp process again and I await a reply will update Trust Pilot later
They cancelled our deliveries 3 times…
They cancelled our deliveries 3 times for the past 10 days. Extreme unreliable.
Tesco curing the fat pandemic
I would personally like to thank my local Tesco ( Edenthorpe) for increasing the prices of Biscuits and Chocolate across the board, these double and triple price increases may be profit driven but have helped this self confessed “ chocoholic” lose a massive 24lb in body weight in 8 weeks, and reminded me that I used to eat chocolate and biscuits far too greedily because they appeared an inexpensive luxury!
Now they are a barely affordable luxury and I have pretty much got my intake down to 1 pack of ginger nuts a month along with the 2-3 packs of sealed chocolate biscuits like blue ribbands and viscounts …Tesco’s profit driven greed is my weight saviour and I look good in my new body….thankyou and long may it continue…
Absolutely appalling delivery service
Absolutely appalling delivery service. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been a one-off experience—it’s been consistently poor. Deliveries regularly don’t arrive within the booked time slot, there are little to no updates, and on more than one occasion I’ve had to chase Tesco myself just to find out where my order is.
The whole process is unreliable and incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re planning your day around a delivery window. To make matters worse, some of the drivers have come across as rude, dismissive and unprofessional, which only adds to an already poor experience.
Tesco is one of the UK’s biggest supermarkets, so I’d expect a far higher standard of customer service and communication. At the moment, the delivery service feels disorganised, unreliable and lacking in accountability. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.
Delivery “lost”
Bought Delivery Saver for a year thinking Id have to wait 48hrs for a delivery
Slot was 4-5pm on a Monday afternoon. Received x2 notifications would be delayed by 2hrs.
3 hrs later called the call centre who spoke to their local store and apparently my order had vanished of the system!?
With no food in the house being offered a £10 voucher is insulting.
Earliest i can get my refund is x5 days from now and Im really sorry this has happened to you . i don’t know how it’s happened!??? Bloody joke. Definitely the worst service ever
Tesco delivery
Tesco delivery. Each time we order wine to be delivered by tesco a bottle smashes. This is annoying for me, but also the driver. They need to have a better way of stacking wine bottles in transit. It happens nearly every time and it makes everything stink. Also, the did not send all bottle so now have to argue with customer service
Unfortunately when I was shopping at…
Unfortunately when I was shopping at tesco at Borough High Street my stoma bag on my stomach started leaking bye accident and there was a little bit of mess that leaked out from my stoma bag it was outside the front door of the store so I don't know why thay band me thay sent me a letter and it said on it that I am never allowed to visit the store ever again I was totally shocked.
I went to my local store on a Sunday…
I went to my local store on a Sunday lunchtime. They had nothing in their freezer's and when asked what had happened, the staff were rude and unhelpful!
I asked a member of staff, 'do you have any Yorkshire puddings', the answer was a flat NO! No apology, no chat, no nothing!
I then got to the checkout and mentioned to the cashier 'what has happened to the freezers?' She replied 'they are broken, and so are Waitrose's!? She was not sorry for my inconvenience, or kind in her reply.
We are very disappointed in this store, they really are unfriendly and unhelpful. The actual store is badly laid out and lacking in the basic essentials!
Tesco delivery =out of date products
Been a customer over 40 years but consistently receive out of date or low date items on deliveries even after highlighting it many times with them.
So disappointing.
This time I had a sour dough loaf which was out of date the day before my delivery even after I had put a note to say no short dates please. Its almost like they're bored and doing it on purpose. Need to start docking the pickers wages!
Empty and switched off freezers
Why have Tesco emptied ALL their fridges and left us consumers with no fresh meat, cooked meat, lollies, ice cream etc.? AND could not even be bothered to let people know that. It's a waste of time turning up to do a weekly shop with only half the products. I use the Farnworth one but the Walkden one is the same and has been for the last few weeks. Come Tesco you can do better than this!
Do not buy from Woosh
If you value your identity then do not buy at Tesco woosh they have now introduced SCANNING your identification because they've never heard of identity theft apparently!!!!
Tesco ollerton
Tesco ollerton, please can you sort your stock levels out and manage it better because every time ive been going in for the last year, your shelfs are bare! for one thing or the other and it's not just nice things it's for the pure basics, like milk, bread etc. It's just getting to the point where i will just shop somewhere else. Not only are your prices starting to get ridicolous you can't even buy them because you have barely nothing in stock! For such a big company you would surely be able to manage your stock levels adequately. Its not the staffs fault they can only do what they can. There's no question You will need to improve when the new aldi is completed half a mile down the road! So sort it out!
Customer service
There's a lady called Paula losta just want to say thankyou for your lovely customer service the lady works in bulwell tesco
Gift card fraud, unhelpful staff
I received a gift card purchased from Tesco with £100 loaded onto it to spend at John Lewis. However, when I tried to use it, I was informed that there was no balance available.
I contacted John Lewis, who confirmed that they could see the gift card had been purchased from Tesco, but explained that it had never been activated. This left me in the extremely awkward position of having to contact the person who kindly gifted it to me and explain that the voucher they had purchased was unusable.
She returned to Tesco, where she was initially told the issue was with John Lewis, leaving us unable to resolve the matter. She then contacted Tesco customer services via WhatsApp, where Tesco acknowledged that the error was on their side and advised her to visit a Tesco store with the WhatsApp conversation, the gift card and the Clubcard details so that they could rectify the issue.
Unfortunately, the Tesco Express store refused to help. We then visited a Tesco Extra, but they were also unable to resolve the matter as they could not locate the transaction on the Clubcard history.
We are now £100 out of pocket due to an error made by Tesco. Despite having written confirmation from Tesco customer services accepting responsibility, we have still been unable to have the gift card activated or receive a refund.
The amount of time and effort required to resolve a problem that was entirely caused by Tesco has been unacceptable. Expecting a heavily pregnant customer to make multiple trips to different Tesco stores in an attempt to correct Tesco’s own mistake is extremely disappointing. I am requesting that this matter is escalated urgently and that the £100 balance is restored or refunded without any further inconvenience.
TESCO - WHOOSH. .,,,,,, no show!
I ordered an urgent delivery through Tescos website late last Wednesday with the regularly advertised “SPEEDY DELIVERY SERVICE 🤣 Whoosh” and it was simple and straight forward until the person delivering could not find my address, he called me and I got the gist he was lost I explained my location simply but he didn’t understand what I was saying and I speak clearly and I could barely decipher what he was saying. I walked to the bottom of the close where I live and halfway there he hung up on me. When I got there, which is 1-minute, he had disappeared and I received an automated message saying “I had cancelled my order”. Why in an English speaking country do these companies hire people who cannot speak/understand English??? Please make it make sense.
I contacted Tescos to complain and the young lady was empathetic and helpful but I drew the line when she said “Whoosh is a third party, It’s run by Uber”. NO, Tesco advertise Whoosh as one of THEIR services, the buck stops fairly and squarely with them. She offered me a £20 voucher, as a gesture of goodwill towards my next Whoosh delivery (not going to happen) or grocery delivery from the store. That being said, I have NEVER had a good experience with Uber so not surprised with the bad service. I do not use Uber by choice generally. Why have these stores allowed their services to deteriorate, is their priority cheap labour or their customer?? I had the exact problem with Sainsbury’s and Deliveroo their equivalent service, I hasten to add, I no longer shop at Sainsbury’s because of it. I am now strongly considering just shopping in independent local shops. I say “we need to go back to the little family owned British shops, as we used to have!”.
Tesco Armed Forces - Unable to find Free Breakfast on screens
Just visited Tesco Blackpool Road, Preston for Armed Forces/Veteran's Free Breakfast, staff very helpful but they could not find where to order on touch screens. Spent over 40 mins with staff ringing other branches who also did not know how to get through the touch screens. All this should have been checked out before hand you have had 364 days to get it right. Bad performance especially with all your press statemetns saying Tesco Supports the armed forces & veterans. It should not be left it out without any backup.
New every day low price tag is just price manipulation
New every day low price tag is just manipulation to make the public think Tesco is actually doing their bit to help us all with the cost of living.
I buy at least 6 of these new low price products and all of them had the exaxt price of the new low price previous to this piece of kidology from the masters of kidology Tesco. Most of these new low price products always had a price reduction every so often but now they remain at the same old price thus denying us of the benifits of special offers.
Throught their range they must be hundreds if not more products that until the introduction of the new low price alway had offers throughout the year. Customers are now being denied that benifit. How much extra turnover are Tesco making by stopping offers on many many products.Tesco are not helping their customers with this sceme. They, as usual are only lining their own pockets.
Come on Tesco stop all this blindsiding and just be truthful.
