Been trying to get my son a test for months . Signed and and paid for the premium service
Got 3 tests through for short notice which were no good . Got another through today for a date we wanted in a couple of months . It’s all booked

I had to write a review to share my experience of the test shift app. I was so wary after reading some reviews saying the app is a scam but I was willing to give it a go & risk losing my money if there was a chance of getting my son an earlier test than in 6 months. I signed up 2 weeks ago. His original test was booked for October. I initially received several notifications for cancellations in the next 10 days which would be too soon for him. I then got a notification to say his test had automatically been shifted to 2 weeks earlier than the original date. I then received another notification today to say his test has been shifted to 7th July. This was the ideal date for us so I’ve now paused the scanning to avoid anymore shift changes. The best thing about the app is they actually change the test & you get an email straight away from the DVSA to confirm the change. I’m so pleased with the decision to use the app.

this app is perfect ,after failing my test I got another booked for 10th of October 25 ,within 2 days of having testShift I got a cancellation auto booked for me for 16th of may 25 ,£15 well spent

Great app, my son’s original test was booked for 18/8 100miles away from us. Test shift then moved it to 11/6 to the test center in our town and then again to 30/4 and my son passed his test. £15 well spent. We were on another app that cost a lot more and they did nothing.

I subscribed to TestShift after seeing a lot of test cancellations and alerts during the free period. As soon as I paid for the subscription, the app completely stopped working as promised. It has been over two weeks, and despite setting my preferred test dates for an entire year, not a single test was auto-booked. Meanwhile, another genuine app (Testi) showed multiple available slots which I could not secure through TestShift.

It’s very clear that this app is misleading customers with fake alerts to push them into buying the subscription. After paying, the service becomes useless. It feels like a deliberate scam to take advantage of people desperate for driving test slots.

Not only that, but it seems the app may be colluding with certain driving instructors to exploit students financially, by encouraging unnecessary extra lessons after booking tests.

Please be warned: do NOT waste your money on TestShift. This app is a scam. Use other trusted apps instead. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated.

TestShift app was saying we are currently performing maintenance on our service, please try again later it’s being two weeks now, can you refund my money back, the app doesn’t search any date for me.

Downloaded this app for my son.

He saved 117 days. Test was Aug 25, got a cancellation 17 Apr 25.

Set up your test centre, set to forward, say how many days notice you need, and when you are available and set to auto shift. That's all you have to do.

Cannot believe it worked this well, but it did! He got the first shift to May after 3 days, then the next day the 17 Apr slot.
Very relieved it did.

Once 17 Apr was secured we paused it and he sorted annual leave.

Setting to auto shift means no chance of missing a slot that suits you.

Well worth the £15

Absolutely brilliant. Signed up to Testshift premium . My son got a cancellation within a week of signing up to this app. The test was moved from September to April 25 . So easy to use and took all the stress off the whole process.

Stopped working, they say there is server maintanance, but this is now going on for days.
Unacceptable, will try to retrieve my money from the Google App store.

Sent e-mail to customer service which is being ignored!

Ive Not had 1 notification for a cancellation, and I've seen other people who have the app and they've had cancellations who don't have premium.so I uninstalled the app incase there was a glitch and it now constantly says under maintenance! And I've got premium! There's no way of getting intouch with anyone ,I want a refund! Stay away from this site

Thieves took my money gave no dates now app constantly says under maintenance do not use

So far my tests been cut by 59 days paid premium and a earlier date was autobooked. Would recommend

Pure scam. Do not buy, total waist of money. Lots of slots were available due to people cancelling their test and didn’t get an alert. I saw them by going to the website myself. Want my money back

After a terrible experience with similar apps "Test" and "Driving Test Now" even after paying the premium fees, I decided to have one final attempt at such an app.

I have to say, I am so glad that I did and couldn't recommend TestShift enough. I paid the premium and selected my availabilty and within 3 days I had an earlier test!

I have since recommended to others who have also had a great experience with the app!

Absolute Scam! One test found in a week which didn't even notify me! They do that so they dont have to give you a refund!! Huge Scam

Had a test booked for July - the earliest in my area. Signed up for the premium and got a new test in March. I PASSED! Thank you TEST SHIFT. Highly recommend!

As an instructor we see a lot of these apps, promising the earth.

The test centre I operate out of is booking 24 weeks in advance. I tried this app to check it works before recommending to my students.

I have had a test moved on 2 separate occasions saving my pupil about 2 months. You do have to be patient as this process has taken 2 weeks but well worth the £11.99 they charge.

I did email a request to them that was dealt with very quickly.

I paid for the premium last month, decided to cancel a few days after. Apple Pay managed to get a refund for me. Then this month I decided to give another go to the app, paid against my subscription but my premium features just don’t load so I’VE PAID AND I AM UNABLE TO USE IT.
I have sent several emails to the company and they haven’t replied to me (only contact method available, shocking, no chat, phone, letter etc). I just want to be able to access my premium as I paid for it or get my money back.

The app works really well. It did take a week or so to get any notifications but then it autobooked me a test which was 16 days earlier than the one I had.

You just have to stick with it and something will show up!

App does not work I pray I get a refund as this app has not shown me any dates since I bought the premium although showing me every few hours a test date before I paid now it’s been a week and nothing
