We got married on Sunday at TAP and honestly, it makes me emotional even trying to find the words. Angie and her team are honestly amazing. The venue, the house, the grounds, the marquee - everything was just perfect. Nothing was too much trouble - we had some issues with the weather but the team carried the stress without letting me know. Angie was like my comfort blanket and I really appreciated that throughout the day. The owner Paul, is also fantastic. Thank you for letting us have our wedding at TAP. I cannot believe it is all over but we had the best day - it was exactly what I dreamt of. The suppliers are a credit to the venue too - we used mostly their recommended and they also didn’t disappointed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special ❤️

We are so happy we chose That Amazing Place as our wedding venue. It truly lived up to its name. From start to finish everything was perfect. Angie was absolutely amazing at organising everything and nothing was ever too much trouble. She made the whole process feel effortless. We met Louise at our first visit to the venue and she is partly why we booked straight away. No question was too much and we knew as soon as we walked into the house it was the one!
The venue itself is stunning, we loved that we had the entire place to ourselves. The marquee, the house, the rooms, everything was just perfect. Me and my bridal party stayed in the Wedding Lodge the night before, which was such a lovely and relaxing start to the celebrations.
It rained on our wedding day but Angie was so calm and reassuring. She worked closely with us to make the right decision about where to hold the ceremony and in the end we made the right call as the rain held off just long enough for us to get married outside!
Thank you so much to Angie and the whole team for making our day so special. We wish we could do it all over again and hopefully one day we will be back as guests at someone else’s wedding. ✨

I booked Amazing Place in Harlow for a family event, and I would strongly advise couples to think twice before booking their wedding here.

At first, the management seemed pleasant, but this turned out to be very misleading. During our event, the situation escalated to the point where the police were called (see attached photo), and the evening was ruined. The management were completely inflexible, and instead of working with us to resolve issues, they chose confrontation.

The behaviour we experienced was hostile and unprofessional, and in my case included racist remarks directed at me. This is something no one should ever have to deal with, especially on a day that is meant to be special.

If you are planning a wedding here, you should be aware of the serious risk that your event could be disrupted or cut short due to the actions of the owners. Do not be fooled by their initial friendliness — once you have booked, the reality is very different.

As a wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of capturing the special moments at That Amazing Place, and I must say, it is truly an amazing place for a wedding. The private and peaceful environment, surrounded by stunning grounds and greenery, makes it the perfect setting for a romantic and intimate wedding.

The 15th century manor house, Wedding Cottage and 14 deluxe bedrooms, all available for exclusive use, offer a sense of luxury and comfort for the couple and their guests. The total exclusivity of the venue means the couple can plan their day exactly as they envision it, with no distractions or interruptions.

The interiors of the venue are beautifully furnished and decorated with contemporary elements, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, making it an ideal "home away from home" for the guests.

All in all, That Amazing Place is a remarkable wedding venue that I would highly recommend to any couple looking for a luxurious and private setting for their special day.
