Just realised I’ve spent over £15 hanging on to their “sales” number! Yikes! No reply of course. I wonder if they’ve gone out of business? Or if this is a way of harvesting details / money?

Edit: Just discovered there is another number, in Croydon, listed for the business in other directories. That number is simply not an active number. So looks like they’ve gone out of business yet are still operating a premium-rate phone line.

Not sure if they are still in business? I've been trying to call them over two days and no reply, even though it's a premium number and costs a lot of money when you are kept hanging on. I've emailed them several times too but no response. Not sure now if this is a scam website, so won't be using it. Avoid!

Just held on the phone on an 0844 number for 36 minutes with no reply for their SALES dept. I can only imagine what their customer service must be like, if they can't lift the phone to actually sell you something. It has cost me in the region of £11 to try and buy something from them. What a terrible way to run a business. Awful

Shocking company, bought 2 items EV SX padded covers which were instock for £180, today 8 days later they send money back through paypal, no communication from them at all, do not answer phone messages/phone, do not reply to various emails sent to them over last 3 years about things i wanted to buy, they say they are UK # 1 for pro audio gear!!! They operate like a 2 bob backstreet company, cannot believe how bad they are, steer clear of these cowboys.

Ordered a speaker, waited a week and it hadn’t turned up, I contacted them by email to be told it hadn’t been dispatched yet, it was then apparently dispatched for delivery on Monday, waited till Wednesday still no delivery. They are full of crap, 99% sure they didn’t even send it out, did get a refund eventually. Stupid

Really great prices, advice and service - been using them for 10 years plus and hope to be in another 10 years, definitely know there stuff in the long run saved me a lot of money too .

We needed a PA fast called and Martin helped me plan a entire system within a day and we coudnt be more happy , we had delivery in 2 days they even helped us set the whole system up over the phone , Great guys and really great price aswell , Highly recommended to anyone

We were looking for some PA and lighting gear for our band and found Audio Works on the web and gave them a call, one thing of the bat was the way they listened to all our requirements and then built a system from the ground up that suited us.

In all we spent over £7000 with them and was amazed at not only the price but the quality of the sound and the after sales service to help with wiring the whole system together.

I don't normally do reviews but had to as feel companies deserve recognition when they perform above and beyond !

Will be buying all our future Pa and lighting gear from Audio Works , top marks guys!

This is our 4th order from Audio Works, we run dance classes with 15 centres in the UK, I cannot ask for more, they spent hours discussing and planning the best systems for our needs and all our orders arrived on time and they even sent us 5 pairs of free headphones for the disabled kids on our last order !

Never met a finer bunch of guys . Highly Recommend !

I have been ordering my Audio equipment from the Audioworks for some time now. They always offer the best price and their service is excellent. Their staff are always helpful on the phone and can always give me the advice I need on what equipment would suit my needs. Thanks Audioworks.

Bought some powered speakers from them. Tried to order over the phone, they said use the website, which I did. The order failed. They voided that sale & told me to try again, which I did but by that time the price went up by £200 quid. Had a couple of minor issues, they asked me to email details, they never replied. I now need some aftersales service. I Notice they now have a 0844 number only, I spent ages in a queue running up a bill, no one answers. I left 5 messages, no one called me back. On the times I have got through to them I have found them surly & impatient, dreadful telephone manner. They're not that competetive anymore either... don't use them.

Excellent service with fast delivery! I didn't have a clue about what system to chose, got some expert advice from a rep that knows his stuff for once...... will definitely use Audio Works UK again! Their prices are fantastic and great value for money. Very helpful and professional..... would recommend them highly....

Dealt with loads of sound companies in the past but these chaps are the best in the business, my order arrived on time at the best price I could find and they even gave a superb after care set up service which really helped us out, will definately back for more kit soon . Can't recommend them enough - first class !

This is the first time Ive used Audio Works but I must say they really are a shining example of first class customer service. I really appreciate the 'no pressure' approach, and their prices are the best around Even when I ordered something wrongly the staff bent over backwards to get it sorted, I wasn't made to feel as though I'd caused them any inconvenience at all.

Although I have a few well known PA and Disco shops on my doorstep, all my kit will come from Audio Works in future. Great Service Guys

We run a performing arts school and needed a complete pa and lighting rig for our stage shows , Chris was brilliant from designing the whole system to even coming down and seting it up in his own time . Fantastic advice, service and brilliant top quality products . Will definately use again . A++++++++++++++++++

Have bought loads of gear from these chaps over the years, not only really helpful on phones but also give great advice ,All my orders have arrived well packed next day . 5 Stars

These guys have a wealth of knowledge and found they are all properly trained and know almost everything about every item they sell (unlike some others I rang ) If you need anything to do with music equipment give these guys a call !
