Ben was brilliant, knowledgeable and hilarious

Ben was brilliant, Funnily spooky and really knowledgeable. The tour lasts around an hour so perfect for us as a last minute experience. There was a story relating to each of the significant areas we passed which were all equally interesting but the very best part about it for me was the belly laughs, he was just so comical. I would 100% recommend this tour, thanks Ben and driver, you were great!

The best tour of Edinburgh!

If you only do one thing while in Edinburgh, do this!!
This bus tour was recommended to me by a family member for being amazing and it did not disappoint, it's a quick glance at the city at night, with ghost stories and laughs. The guide, Tommy Terror, was quirky, hilarious and very knowledgeable, he was the perfect guide! The hour flew by, lots of facts about the city and the history that surrounds it and not too scary for little ones - highly recommend!

SCAM GHOSTBUS TOUR

Unfortunately it won't let me give 0 stars.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS.
I WAS GIVEN A LOCATION SENT TO ME ON WHATSAPP. I WENT TO THE LOCATION WHICH WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. THEY CALLED ME TO ASK WHERE I WAS.
THEY SAID THEY SEND THE CORRECT LOCATION ON WHATSAPP.
I CLICKED BACK ON THE LINK WHICH HAD BEED DELETED .

BE VERY CAREFUL AS I BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAM. I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK WHICH THEY SAID NO.

Tim Burton meets Horrible Histories

Very happy with the tour. We didn’t really know what to expect and were very entertained by our guide Stan. He kept the energy up the whole trip and engaged both levels of the bus well. His non stop humour and the spooky aesthetic of the bus made for a great night. I felt like I was in a Tim Burton movie with a character from Horrible Histories.

Absolutely loved this tour

Absolutely loved this tour! It was spooky without scaring the kids (5 and 9) and had the adults in stitches but also learning Yorks gruesome history! Would highly recommend for adults and children alike!
John doe and bob were exceptional !

York ghost bus

Just done the York ghost bus and John doe and bob where amazing. Very funny and we learnt a lot. We will 100% be back and bring our kids next time. John doe dealt very well with a local who was under the influence and didn't let the local hooligan deter his good mood. Thank you for our experience Edinburgh couple ☺️

Cringeworthy and a waste of money

Ghost bus tour York.
Waste of money! Not a ghost tour, very little actual information. Shouty tour guide, poor attempt at comedy, abusive language. Embarrassing and most expensive bus tour of York, there was a short planned stop at St. Cuthberts church where many passengers were heard discussing to leave and not get back on board. Please don't book. Cringeworthy.

Tommy Terror and the vengeful granny

First trip to Edinburgh on a work event. Got on the Ghost Bus in the evening. £16 for a tour of the city with Tommy Terror. What a legend. We had a great time, laughing all the way. We even got some valuable training in how to rob graves. Health and Safety a bit iffy, in that at one point we were trapped inside an old bus with a vengeful ghost, but we luckily made it out alive.

Absolutely brilliant tour

Absolutely brilliant tour. I took my daughter 7, who loves ghosts. Dispite getting a bit upset "Tommy Terror" was amazing with her. Once we finished the tour she couldn't stop talking about it. Definitely recommend the Edinburgh tour ❤️

Very informative and good fun

Tommy Terror and his driver Angus took us around Edinburgh and told us all about its gruesome history, Tommy's enthusiasm and theatrics were very entertaining and I would recommend this tour to anybody visiting Edinburgh who has a taste for the macabre.

My partner and I

My partner and I, fresh from an extended stay in Avernus, were looking for an opportunity to parake in some local flavor. Mr. Blood, tourguide for the dead, came highly recommended by our infernal friends. Six out of six stars, for their six times touring, they said.

Of course we had to give him a chance.

Our steed for this journey was very clearly a glamoured Nightmare, painted appropriately black with lovely purple mood lighting. We found our loyal steed comfortable and the ambiance delightfully necromantic, complementing the ghostly journey well. Mr. Blood himself was eccentric, enthusiastic, and energetic, providing interesting facts without overwhelming new initiates to the arts.

The tour through the city and the walk through the shambles were all quite lovely, with Mr. Blood keeping away the more malevolent spirits... ghasts, wraiths, and drunk football fans... while we explored. He identified a ton of haunted pubs, inns, and locations we intend to revisit (to our own peril, perhaps) and provided much needed humor while we all suffered through the infernal Aich Ee Double Hockeysticks that is York traffic on a Saturday evening.

From two infernal creatures to others, we strongly recommend you book a tasting of the supernatural with Mr. Blood.

On the tour in Edinburgh last night 26/08. One of the highlights of our weekend, informative and so entertaining. Loved our conductor Spooky Samuel and Angus the driver. Do this tour if you can, we all loved it! Hilarious!

Ghost bus tour York

We did this ghost tour last night in York. We met our fantastic conductor ‘Norman Yates’, he was really funny and made the experience great. The tour was a brilliant way to see the city, with twists and turns on the way! You got to hear the background of York from ghost stories to horrible history.

I think it’s a good idea to go on the bus when it’s going dark outside to get the full effect.

London....Oh Dear.

This is the second Ghost bus tour we have done...the first being in York.
Had high hopes because York was so good. ..sadly this one did not live up to expectations. £50 for two adults...on the bus which was half empty...
Alastair Cringeworthy was the guide, and his performance was just that.

Getting facts wrong...names wrong...Prince Andrew was not married to Queen Victoria...
His commentary was ..weird. Feigning vomiting off the bus, then having haunted bowels? ...just not funny.
Some of the comments were not appropriate for the young children on board...he just seemed out of his depth and his wailing and moaning for no reason whatsoever was cringey....
The bus is great. Oldy worldy with spooky feel......but even the driver seemed embarrassed to be there.
I would not recommend this tour...sorry.
