My experience has been outstanding
I was able to get quick answers, information. All the help and response has been excellent. I got to make a change by one day and Chris was very responsive. I have not yet taken the adventure, but this company seems to be well organized and extremely well priced and customer focused.

Great service
Georgia was very helpful in setting up our booking and kept us informed regarding the progress being made in booking hotels. A very good experience.

Great service.
We are now in the process of booking our second holiday with The Natural Adventure, the first being a great success. I have received an answer to my initial question regarding an extra night and the reply came within 30 minutes.
What great service.

Georgia from The Natural Adventure is fantastic
Georgia from The Natural Adventure was fantastic during the planning of my solo hike in High Atlas. She answered all my endless questions, always very quick response and with well researched information.
I will recommend anyone to book their travel with this company.
We hiked the Camino for 9 days from…
We hiked the Camino for 9 days from Portugal to Santiago Spain. Traveling with our best friends, it was fantastic. It rained everyday and yet with the right gear we loved the Way. Meeting such interestIng people from around the world made it very special trip.
All of our stays were clean and we had warm welcomes by staff. The only regret was the last hotel in Santiago.
Your so excited to complete the 17 miles but this was not a good place to celebrate in.
Oh, this was our second trip with the Natural Adventure and we’re planning number three!

Thank you to the Natural Adventure Company.
Your communication was reassuring as I planned and prepared for my hike from New Zealand.
The maps, waypoints, descriptions, pre tour instructions, luggage transfers, , , everything was detailed, professional and well administered.
The accomodation was good, the only issue was the extra unexpected walk upon arrival in Sasso Marconi to reach the hotel.
Overall the tour was very good value for money.
I will definitely use The Natural Adventure Company again for my next epic hike. It is along way to travel from the NZ to Europe, and your reliability really helps.

The Lycian Way hike
We just completed 20 days hiking the Lycian Way (Likya Yolu) as a self guided package that was booked through The Natural Adventure Company and coordinated with Middle Earth as the local agents. We cannot speak highly enough about how well and smooth our trip went with them. Ever aspect was excellent from the variety of accommodation, to the transfers (mostly private and luxury and seamless baggage forwarding). I would highly recommend TNAC to anyone wanting to do this spectacular and challenging hike.
Thanks Victoria and Abbey
Hiking the Amalfi Coast and Cilento Coasts
We hiked the Amalfi Coast and Cilento Coast as back to back trips in October. Everything organised by The Natural Adventure Company and their Italian partners Genius-Loci was very good. When we needed to contact Genius-Loci to make a change of plans, they were very helpful.
The only two slight niggles we had were not under the control of The Natural Adventure Company or Genius-Loci. Firstly, even though we travelled in October, we found the temperatures very warm - even the locals said it was hotter than usual. The second issue was the state of the trails in Cilento. Mostly they were OK but in some areas they were becoming overgrown and in one area virtually impassable. If the Cilento region want to attract hikers (and the area is very attractive), they need to do more to maintain the trails! Amalfi trails were fine!
Overall, it was a very good combination holiday and Natural Adventure and Genius-Loci did a great job.
We hiked the Menalon Trail
We hiked the Menalon Trail. Natural Adventures accommodations were great! All the people we interacted with at the hotels were wonderful and very helpful - knowledgeable abut the trail. The trail was challenging, but we made it! Natural Adventures were quick to respond to email questions I had and also helped us by booking our hotel in Athens for after the hike.

We found the Company very helpful and efficient. We would certainly recommend them to family and friends.
Great communication and service
Great communication and service! Quick interaction when you have a special request.
Best trip ever !
We had the best trip ever thanks to detailed planning and excellent service we got from The Natural Adventure. Everything was as planned, we got all the documentation and trip materials and didn't have any glitches.
Will definitely come back for more.
canal du midi
The trip was amazing, stunnning scenery, history, food and wine.A variety of hotels, some better than others, but all clean and comfortable.Everything went very smoothly, with arriving at hotels, bike storage sorted, and luggage transfers . The bikes were good quality. Occasionally we got a bit lost but the map on the app easy to follow. We found some days exhausting in the heat, but wa swell worth it and a great sense of achievement !!
"Highlights of Kerry Way" June 2023
We had a great holiday and the organisation was generally helpful and efficient. Accommodations excellent. Luggage transfers faultless. Superb walk.
A few quibbles: on a couple of days the walks were more arduous than anticipated and we had to fall back on taxis (few and far between) or the kindness of hosts. OS maps (2 out of 3 were the right ones) too detailed for my liking and fell to bits with refolding in the rain. Guide notes cluttered by a load of info about accommodation we weren't going to; but mostly clear (when you could be bothered to read them, the trail is very well sign-posted). Occasionally out of date, eg a couple of recommended pubs had not reopened since Covid in 2019.
This tour starts at Glenbeigh, and it would have been very helpful to spell out prior to booking our flights, that the last bus from Killarney leaves at 3pm: so, we had to take an Uber from Killarney (68 euros) whereas we might have taken the option an early flight - but then, the 600m walk to our B&B with cases would have been tough. (Our hostess at Glenbeigh would probably have helped in either event but we were given an incorrect phone number)!
Nice trip, although communication could have been better
The trip itself was very nice, although I thought that communication could have been a bit better. There were a couple of examples where it wasn't really clear to me where I was supposed to turn for information, or it took a while for them to get back to me.
To their credit, I raised this with them and I think it was an honest oversight on their part (and I may have missed something myself). Hopefully they will address this in the future, because otherwise, the trip was a good experience.

Booking
Haven't gone on trip just in the booking/paying stage.
Very quick and professional answers to all my queries.
Our experience of Brittany and Tregor…
Our experience of Brittany and Tregor and the pink granite coast was made great by a combination of things
1) The perfect organisation of the tour by Natural Adventure which begins with preplanning communication and the booking of all the accommodations.
The accommodations were mostly perfect , the service of the hosts was always very good and friendly. They also give you hints where to eat and what to see.
2 of the hotels were a bit far out from the city centre ( Lannion and St. Quay-Portrieux) but anyway we found something good to eat.
You get a perfect summary in advance when and where to be and when have to prepare your luggage for transfer.
The luggage transfer by taxi worked perfect, you had nothing to do but drive your bike and enjoy the great nature…
2) The routing by Velorizons and their App was perfect.
The planned etappes are all reachable with one time battery charge.
You get a great variety of roads/ gravel/ trails from the darkest narrow forest trail filled with mud and water up to wide and busy roads.
The mostly used form of underground is the sealed small road with very low or no traffic, perfect!
With the bike you can find places which are unreachable for cars a big advantage and the nature there you can see is an outstanding impression for lifetime!
Bravo Velorizons!
3) The eBike is of high quality and technical standard. Its called “Velo de Ville” but is also well suitable on gravel or forrest trails if they are not too steep. You have a strong Bosch engine and if it gets to steep to push the bike yourself you can go to automatic push mode and the bike drives alone (very slow) when pressing the + button.
We had absolutely no problem with the bike and for the case of a flat tire the bike is equipped.
The whole equipment is complete.
Bravo Abyciclette !
So a big thank you for Natural Adventure and their subcontractors Velorizons and Abyciclettes for an unforgettable tour in Brittany!!
Rainer and Sabine from Germany
ps: The weather was perfect too 😎😎
We experienced the Perched Villages of…
We experienced the Perched Villages of the Côte d’Azur hike in early May 2023. Overall, we enjoyed the very scenic hike from Sospel to Menton. It was more rigorous than we expected based on the estimated hiking length and duration. We would highly recommend serious hiking boots (not athletic shoes) and hiking poles for your safety. The trails are uneven in many places and very slippery rocks when wet. We hiked 12+ miles each day.
Bring food and supplies with you before you get to the hotel because otherwise you will have to walk to town on a busy highway to get supplies.
Ask for the roadbook prior to arrival so you can prepare adequately before the start of the hike. The roadbook has very good details and directions which prevented us from drifting off course. The trails are pretty well marked and maintained too. The accommodations really varied. The first two nights were awesome - luxurious comfortable bed, spacious room, clean, quiet. The third night the hotel was in a really cool location perched at the top of the mountain. However, the bed was very uncomfortable because it was sagging in the middle and there was some deferred maintenance. The last night hotel was okay and close to the train station which is handy from the return trip. The provided meals were heavy on carbs and low on protein. We bought extra proteins to supplement the breakfasts.
This was a great scenic adventure with a few hiccups. We'll come a bit more prepared next time!
We recently used The Natural Adventure…
We recently used The Natural Adventure for 2 separate events, biking the Camino from Porto to Santiago, Spain and hiking Los Picos de Europa. This company went far beyond my expectations. Their maps were easy to follow, paths well marked, instructions both detailed and concise. Our bikes were in fantastic condition and help was always a phone call away. A big shout out for our accommodations, they far exceeded our expectations.
Avoid at all costs
I recently returned from one of this company's trips to the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. I had high hopes, but unfortunately they did not live up to my expectations.
The people who assisted me in the planning phase were all helpful, although not entirely transparent. I had initially wanted to stay in Positano. When that was not available, they suggested staying in Praiano instead. In that discussion, they said that Positano was just a short bus ride away, which is true, but did not mention that buses are not all that frequent, and trying to figure out the timetable is also not all that easy.
They had said the instructions for their hikes would be in my first hotel room, which they were. Not very helpful. They did give blow by blow descriptions of the routes which might be helpful if they were announced in an audioguide, but not really helpful if you are trying to hike. The gps app the provided was also problematic. Language randomly switched from Italian to English and back with no obvious way to set it. It also tried to direct me off a cliff at one point.
When I did try to contact the office with questions, they were cheerful, but not helpful. First time the woman said she would ask a colleague and get back to me. No call back. Called again and was given a wrong answer. The kicker though, came at the end of my tour when I was supposed to have a transfer from my hotel in Sorrento to my hotel in Naples. The driver did not speak English, which is fine, except he took me to the airport instead of my hotel. On the way to the airport while sitting in traffic. He rear ended the car ahead of us because he wasn't paying attention. No damage but...really? Then, at the airport, when I was trying to talk to him and the office people about why I was at the airport he started to drive away with the door of the van open and my in the back.
When I finally got to the hotel, the company called me, but apparently did not care that the driver was in an accident and driving unsafely, they only wanted to know if I had got to the hotel. Fortunately, I got there alive, but they really seemed not to care about any of the other issues. I will never use this company again.
The local partner was Genius Loci, a misnomer if you ask me. I'd avoid them too.
