Late next day deliver !
I took on a last minute order for a cake. I only needed a few items that I found on vanilla valley. I was very happy to pay the the dpd next day delivery of £7.49. I ordered on 7/8/26, to my horror my actual order arrived 5 days later, much too late for my cake order. Needless to say I will think twice before ordering from you again!

Your order was dispatched on Friday 7th August using DPD Next Working Day delivery. This service is based on working days (Monday–Friday), so the expected delivery date was Monday 10th August. Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days for our courier services, and this information is displayed on our website when selecting the shipping method at checkout.

Waste of time and money
Ordered an item from this company to pick up. I was told it would arrive within 48 hours. It was due to be delivered the day before I needed the product.
I got the notification for the pickup 3 days after the pickup date, once the event had already passed.
Tried to contact customer service about what had happened. No reply, no follow up. Terrible experience, would not reccomend.

To clarify, your order was placed on our Pick Up Next Working Day service. Your order was dispatched on Friday 7th and, under normal circumstances, should have been ready for collection on Monday 10th. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected delay with the courier, and your order became available for collection on Tuesday 11th instead.
We also did respond to the email you sent to our customer service team. It’s possible our reply may have been filtered into your junk or spam folder, which may explain why you didn’t see it.
We sincerely apologise for the courier delay and for the inconvenience this caused, especially given the timing of your event. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to work with our courier partners to minimise the risk of delays like this occurring.
