It's a members' society. so it exists for its members. It's 150 years old. That's all you really need to know. Lifetime membership is £40, but that includes a first-time purchase of £20. You can leave it to someone in your will!

Why look anywhere else?
Whether I am buying a bottle for everyday drinking or a fine wine for storing, I almost always use the Wine Society because it cannot be bettered for the quality and value-for-money of its wines and the efficiency of its service. Traditional good service
Unlike almost all other mail order companies, The Wine Society not only has an excellent website that works first time, but can also be contacted by telephone which is answered very quickly and you can speak to a knowledgeable human being. Their service is second to none and their wine is always good.
