Plants were dead on arrival very very dissatisfied

The hydrangea I was sent was very overpriced.It cost £44 and was scarcely 15cm in height and width- the roots only came about a third down the pot.It looked like a small plant stuffed into a too large pot.

Good plants in very good condition delivered well packed and fresh ,good selection of plants and garden products. My wife and I have been buying from Thompson and Morgan for about 20 years or there abouts and have never been let down . Will not change from them. Easy to order and pay. Anthony hart.

My 3 x Acantha arrived in not too bad condition for the time of year. Some of the leaves were yellowing, which I just chopped off, and have since grown well. My only real gripe is Evry, the delivery company. They have a habit of hiding packages where you least expect, without bothering to pop a note through the door so that you can go and hunt for it. Consequently, my plants sat in their hiding space for nearly 48 hours in the heat, hence the yellow leaves I should think.

Plants came promptly and were in good condition.

I ordered 2 packs of the mixed perenials - 5 for £12. Although the plants that arrived were well established in their pots it did seem to take ages for them to be delivered and when I opened the box I suspect I know why: they had been held packed and ready to go at either the pick up point or the Couriers base. They looked as if they had originally been securely packed in plastic shell 'cups' in 4s but as well as the outer box being badly disfigured on arrival pretty much all of the plants were outside these protective cups and were strewn about the bottom of the box. Obviously no care had been taken during their 6 days transportation between packing and my front door. The length of time taken, during one of the recent heatwaves meant most of the plants were bone dry - some had parted company with their pots and despite keeping them shaded and well watered since delivery I have lost 3 of them! Not a happy customer, overall. Those that have survived are beginning to show recovery 14 days on since delivery although I will have to prune off some dead sections and flower spikes taking away energy from root establishment.

Delivery was quick

Very pleased with my purchase BUT parcel arrived after courier held onto it for 4 days, box was battered and parts of the plants were broken off and only 2 plants were in box and I had ordered and paid for 4. I notified thompson and morgan and they sent out another 2 which again courier had for 4 days. I cut the broken parts off and the plants appear to be thriving. I think everything would have been great but delivery severely let the experience down. I have had experience with this delivery company before and mentally told myself never to buy from another company that uses them. Shame the buying experience was spoilt but not thompson and morgan at fault.
