Best quality seeds, bare-root plants, potted plants, and plug plants. I have been their customer since April 2025. Any complaints about the plants will be addressed immediately, and a replacement will be offered for damaged ones.

Good delivery and good plants

I ordered an outdoor furniture set in April. While it arrived within two weeks, the experience turned into an absolute nightmare from there.
During self-assembly, we found screws missing, and the table simply would not align properly. Within just two weeks of light use, the base of the sofa started bowing. I emailed customer service in May—well within the 30-day window—and received zero replies to multiple emails. Out of nowhere, a delivery email appeared, and a replacement sofa base arrived, but with no explanation and nothing addressed regarding the faulty table.
After continued silence to further emails, I had to open a Resolver case. What followed was months of back-and-forth, including quite rude replies from some representatives. I was initially told they couldn't send parts and that a full replacement table would be sent. Nothing arrived within the promised 7 days. Then, another rep got in touch asking us to take the table apart and try re-aligning it ourselves—which we refused, given we were already promised a replacement.
After escalating, I received a phone call offering a £50 partial refund alongside the replacement table. Given that it was by then July, this felt pretty insulting for three months of hassle. To make matters worse, when the replacement table finally arrived, it was in even worse condition than the original!
At that point, I refused the £50 and insisted on a full refund and collection of the set. The Head of Customer Service then asked us to disassemble and pack it up ourselves for collection, which I refused—it is not my job to pack up their defective product.
In the end, I did get a full refund (and discovered they’d randomly given us an unexplained £20 back in May), but I have been left to dispose of the faulty furniture myself.
Thompson & Morgan's customer service is appalling, and the product quality is terrible. Save yourself the stress, pay a little extra, and buy a proper set elsewhere.

Recently bought plug geraniums which are absolutely brilliant and some dahlias which also are lovely plants and arrived promptly and well packed

I have used Thompson and Morgan for years and have been happy with them from order to delivery.

Great prices in sale & order arrived quickly. Hope seeds do well when planted next year.

LIke others my problem was with the delivery compamy- yodel impost- rather than Thompson and Morgan. ON the due date of delivery the driver could not find the house even though Yodel had delivered other things here the previous week Contacted T&M and they came back with some questions which I answered. Out for delivery two days later. Nothing arrived, Then silence. contacted T & M who asked the same questions as before. However they must have done something as the item has now arrived..LIke others I suggest they think about other delivery companies.

Products matched the descriptions accurately. Good quality plants delivered in excellent packaging. I have had some fantastic bargains. Very useful growing tips on the website.

Lovely plants and good value for money, my garden is blooming all summer. Their sales are especially good

Buddleia arrived ok but when packaging was opened the plant looked ok but I thought I would stand it in some water. I could not believe how much water the plant had taken up considering how small it was. I know we have had heatwave conditions where I live but even so I was surprised that this little plant needed such water.

Ordering simple. Delivery as advised. Plants in beautiful condition. Perfect

I use T&M online a lot for ordering plants as I’ve had mixed success with other companies. T&Ms service is always good, the plants were healthy and arrived according to schedule. I’d recommend T&M and will continue to use them myself.

Quality product, great price.

We have had seed packets and plugs from Thompson and Morgan and all have grown successfully in the garden. The prices have been great too.

Fantastic service. Purchased some creeping jenny which arrived in excellent healthy condition, and since planted have really taken off creating a lovely lush wall planter. Since then I've ordered again as their service was great. Would highly recommend.

Having been sent out in what I can only assume was good condition they were not great when they were delivered. T&M duly replaced them.

The problem is that they're sent via Royal Mail 48hr delivery service. However this service doesn't deliver at the weekend. Therefore sending orders out on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday means that orders don't arrive until Monday at the earliest.

I bought an end of season package. The dahlias are really nice as are the other bulbs. Very well worth buying even if you are not sure exactly what you will get
