Ordered a card, but it didn't arrive. Contacted the company and they immediately sent another with apologies. Can't fault how they dealt with this.

Called the customer service after my mistake with the date and delivery address. Parents very pleased as platinum anniversary cards are so difficult to find . Found this particular guard on thoughtful.

Useless checkout, data leak, uncaring customer service
This was a poor ordering experience. I selected two cards and two gifts at over £50 and tried to pay. No matter what I did, the site insisted my address wasn’t within the UK. I then downloaded the app and had the same problem there. I emailed Thortful customer services who replied and blamed the issue on me having an out of date version of the app, telling me to restart it all and try again.
I logged in to the app again to find that my entire order was now out of stock and that in the space of 48 hours my password had appeared in a data leak.
I replied to Thortful who didn’t even acknowledge the email this time. It’s been a week, so they obviously don’t care about my custom, their data security or the experience I had. Disappointing.

I have used Thortful for a while now
I have used Thortful for a while now. Most of the time it’s great but postage can sometimes take a while, and there was one occasion where the card didn’t get delivered at all (but Thortful re-send it for free). Most of the time the cards are great quality, but the last card I received was quite poor as the card was really thin, which wasn’t great for the price. I’m still using Thortful as most of the time it’s great, but I’m not sure how long I will be if these things continue to happen.

The cards are different to what is available in the shops. Love the cards but the website requires patience.
Order not arrived
Order not arrived. Spent more money for quicker delivery. No one has come back to me from customer service. Birthday has now passed and I need a full refund. I will not accept a gift card as I will not use their services again

Update….
Overall, very very poor.
Easy to blame Royal Mail for every card that doesn’t arrive. It’s a cop out.
A copy and paste e-mail which has been sent out many times before is what they send you.
How many cards are Royal Mail losing…? I’m surprised you still use them considering how many people question this every month?
Offering a replacement card or a gift card - this just proves this is a standard corporate company.
A replacement - wouldn’t arrive in time.
Gift card - why would a new customer trust a company that can’t get a card to a customer in 2 weeks.
Maybe each complaint should be reviewed individually - just look at your same copy and paste replies on here to the 1 star reviews.
Maybe offer a refund straight away?
A free cad next time?
You could nip loads of these complaints in the bud straight away.
They won’t - as they’re just bothered about their margins. They’re pretending to be a customer friendly company.
You have to waste your own time sending e-mails just to get a refund - it’s their last choice, then you get offered 50% off your next purchase…?
Why would a new customer take the risk when they’ve messed up the first order…?
50% off means nothing if you can’t get the order to the customer.
They use terms like “happiness team” but it’s the same set up as broadband companies and furniture stores - profit comes first and unless you kick off, you don’t get a refund option straight away.
They have no way of knowing if the cards arrive - just ask for a refund, even if you get the card - they have no idea.
Just jump on here.
They sign off every complaint as it’s been resolved as soon as they offer a refund.
So you order a card, it doesn’t arrive, you have to waste your own time chasing it up, then waste your own time trying to get a refund.
Then you need to go and buy a card anyway.
Either abuse the system and claim a refund even if you receive your card or shop local.
Refunding unhappy customers as a last resort is not resolving issues.

Still not here.
Need it for tomorrow.
Customer services have said I can have a new one sent out…?
Pointless as I need it for tomorrow.
Or I can have a gift card…?
I was a new customer, not trusting these again if they can’t even send out a card.
Shocking service, disappointing customer service not understanding I need it for tomorrow.
Full refund should have been offered, not a poxy gift card.
First time I’ve ever used a company like this - just support your local independent card shops, I only went with these as the card was very specific for I needed.
Waste of my time and money.

Excellent value and quality
The card I received was lovely and excellent quality and value. My only gripe is that it arrived a little bent. It was just in a normal envelope with no other protection. Other card companies I’ve dealt with put a bit of cardboard in which stops the bending, but it was perfect otherwise. It was delivered to me so I was able to flatten it out, if it had been delivered direct to my grandson it wouldn’t have looked so nice
