They keep charging me and giving me useless straps that I cannot use for anything. Very unethical company to let people suffer knowingly.

Darren Simmonds has been outstanding in his commitment to help me in clinic. He has visited me in Essex a handful of times with several complex patients and I have had patient compliments on his product knowledge and delivery.

I bought a knee brace in December and after using it 6 times to play Padel tennis the Velcro failed and I couldn’t do it up. I contacted Thuasne who said I didn’t buy it from them and I had to contact the retailer. The retailer said they had to send it back to Thuasne who responded that it only had a 28 day warranty. Pretty poor response for an expensive knee brace

Contacted Thuasne yesterday as a zip broke on my bra after 6 months, sent photo evidence by email as requested. Within an hour they replied apologising for inconvenience this may have caused me, saying manufacturing fault and they would replace it free of charge and a new one would arrive the next day. True to their word it arrived as promised - if only every company would have such excellent customer service. Thank you Sophie and Thuasne.

I had my first experience of Thuasne at my hospital prosthetics appointment, and was fitted with a post-mastectomy bra and 2 prosthetic breast forms. They were so comfortable that I immediately ordered 2 more bras on the website, but my payment didn’t complete, so I rang the company and spoke to Sophie. She was so helpful, and explained how the VAT exemption works, and within half an hour I had placed my order. Thank you Sophie, a glowing example of how customer service should operate!

The rep for Silma who stocks Thuasne products was so helpful. I required a contact breast form which the rep said Silma now do these as well as the breast prothesis that you put in the pocket of your bra. The contact breast form has a prosthesis that you place a double sided sticky breast pad to so you can then place the prothesisis directly to the chest wall. This great product stays in place all day and when you remove it you peel off the sticky contact breast pads and place the two covers either side to protect it ready for use next day. You also get provided with cleaning solution and a soft nail brush to clean the double sided sticky pad twice weekly.
i previously wore a contact breast form from another company which was sticky on the actual breast form itself but found the sticky part was not very sticky and would fall away from my breast into bra cup. I love the Silma/Thuasne one as a much better idea providing a separate double sided sticky breast pad. I love my new breast form as i cannot feel it on my chest wall at all (i am usually sensitive to the mastectomy site from nerve pain/itching after surgery - September 2022) and i can actually wear normal bras again. I understand the double sided sticky pad last up to six months and new pads are available for £20 from Thuasne which is very reasonable especially when it makes one feel whole again after going through the many breast cancers, bilateral mastectomy and finally reconstruction surgery (diep flap) which i had only for the left flap to fail hence my need for to wear a prothesis. Thank you Thuasne for creating a great product for us ladies that make us feel complete, and that no one would even know what you are wearing as it gives you such a normal appearance. A very happy contented customer :)
I bought the Thuasne Argicalm Thermal Knee Back Abdomen Cushion to use on my lower back. The clay pack is a great product for the task as it is soft and heats evenly in the microwave and gives a lot of relief for me when held on the area for a period.
I did have some issues though. The pouch that came with it was clearly designed for a knee, not a waist as shown in the advertising (my waist is 28/30 inches). This meant that I had no way to wear it to get the relief that I wanted and had to use a pouch from an old gel pack that isn't the right shape but does fit round my waist. Also, I did get a hole in the pack fairly early on. Its very small and I've patched it with a puncture repair patch but the pack could benefit from being made from tougher material.
Very easy to find what I needed and quick delivery. My new breast form fits perfectly and is actually more comfortable than both of my previous purchases. Excellent all-round experience.
The Silima breast form is nowhere near as efficient as the Amoena Contact Light. I was advised to change to Silima & that I would have to purchase the next adhesive pad (lasts about a year!) I have always been provided with a new breast form & object to having to pay . The Amoena one lasts me at least 2years usually & my old one lasted 3 years! I can already see that this will not last that long! Fellow mastectomy friends avoid this product if you are happy with Amoena! I am wondering if the Silima is a cheaper product!
Following my negative comments on the 'new-style' 'Diana Prothesis Bra' from Thuasne, they very kindly sent me the last 'old-style' bra available in my size, as a gift -a delightful surprise from a company with excellent customer relations - I've always been impressed with their items and this is a really thoughtful gesture, Thanks Silima
Does not offer or care about customers outside US. It is impossible to get Knit Rite KAFO socks in Canada as this company has monopolized the distribution system.
Available option in Canada is also very limited and only in certain Provinces.
Not to mention that socks only last a few years and are very pricey.
Families who have special needs don't have much option.
