The socks don’t fit according to their size guide. The heal rides up my leg (showing above my sneakers) even though my size is supposed to be in the range - and without elasticity, the top just flops down too. They look ridiculous. When I got in touch with the customer service, they were initially helpful, and I provided photos as they suggested. But they now won’t answer any of my subsequent messages. Clearly they don’t care about customers’ experiences or genuinely want to help - and given the price point of these socks; that’s scandalous and I suggest you avoid this company.

The company's care instructions are unclear if not dishonest. I bought a pair of Shetland wool socks with care instructions recommending "Wash with cold water (not exceed 30º)." It does not say wash by hand. So I washed on delicate cycle in my machine at 30 degrees, then hung to dry. (Like most Italians I do not own a dryer.) They shrunk to child size. After more than a month of back and forth, sharing photos, they finally refused to refund or credit my purchase.

$235.00 and only 3 pairs of socks 30 days later…

I rush ordered 6 pairs of wool socks in early December of 2025 as gifts. The socks were then shipped without the proper import documents and held at customs in Memphis Tennessee. FedEx informed me that there was an issue. Thunders Love ignored FedEx and my emails for information for over a week. After several emails back and forth with Thunders Love I received half of my socks on January 6th, 2026, but my order was closed and marked complete.

I reached out to Thunders Love again. Three days later they tell me, that they have to look into it and get FedEx to confirm they lost the socks before they’ll reship ship my missing socks. To add insult to injury I received a $35.00 FedEx bill on top of the $200.00 I paid for the socks and the socks I received aren’t even 100% wool!! WTF.

Never received my order! Since July! Paid more than 100€! No answer! Many mails many dm on instagram! Go away ! Nice ads but never send your order

I received my latest pair of socks from Thunders Love today. In the last year, I have bought several pairs for myself and some as gifts for friends and family. Whether its the wool or cotton socks, they are well made, colourful, hardwearing and just make me smile. The packaging is lovely and anyone who has a pair adore them. Such a great find!

Many of their socks are made of plastic. They announce "merino" wool socks and when you check the composition, you see they are 75% plastic (polyesther) and 25% merino wool. And they say proudly made in the Spanish coast! In the Spanish coast full with plastic thanks to companies like this yes... You should be ashamed.

Thunder Love Socks are simply great quality socks. I strictly wear these sock now and have rid myself of all other brands. I work out, walk, dress up, sit around my home in these socks. I have yet to even get a hole. They are extremely comfortable. Wash well. Hold shape and comfort. The website is easy to use and highlight the products well. Shipping is fast and the packaging is fantastic! I almost feel shame in opening them and discarding the beautiful box each sock is packaged in. Well done!

Not just the quality is great but also the look and feel of the socks. I have 10 different pairs of socks from Thunders Love and the only problem I have... is which pair to wear.

Delivered the wrong socks and then ignored my requests to resolve. Nice socks, zero customer service

I ordered 3 pairs of socks. Within a few minutes of doing so, I realised that I had ticked the wrong box for my size. I sent Customer Service three emails to ask that they change my size. No one replied. Instead they went ahead and sent the small size that I clearly said I didn't want. For the last six days I have been trying to get a reply. Nothing. I am stuck with socks in a size that I can't wear. These are premium socks at a premium price. Unfortunately, Customer Care is far from premium.

SCAM and unethical. I ordered in January and never received my package. I emailed but received no response so I messaged on Instagram. Finally someone responded saying they'd look into it. Many emails unanswered since. After a month I asked for my money back and I msged Instagram again bc no one replies on email. Finally a response saying after a complete investigation is completed no refund. Absolutely no integrity in this company. I'm not even in the state I was in January. I've contacted my credit card company and they have since given me my money back. Also, no response to my last 2 emails.

Beware of buying anything from this untrustworthy company! In December, I placed a £250 order for socks to be delivered to me in England before Christmas. They claimed they had been dispatched by FEDEX but have failed to provide evidence of the shipment being delivered to my address. Thunders Love won't take responsibility for this shipment and they won't give me a refund for a parcel which never arrived. They no longer respond to my emails.

Like others have noted, these socks are not well made. Seams coming apart and holes forming after one careful wash. Given the hefty cost I expected excellence. I have contacted their customer services and sent photos of the poor stitching but no response as yet.

The socks look lovely but out of 5 pairs 2 have developed holes on the seam across the front of the foot/toes. They really need to up their quality control for £25+ a pair.

I brought two pairs of socks from thunders love, during which time I moved address. The socks were never delivered and in time returned to thunders love. I emailed, they replied fairly swiftly, and for no extra charge they sent to my new address. I’ve now received them, and I think they are the best socks I’ve ever worn. I really don’t know why all the bad reviews. I know I only have one review on here, and to me that usually means a fake review, but I’m simply reviewing now because I truly couldn’t understand why they had a low rating. I never ussualy review anything. But I’ll be buying again, very happy customer.

Ordered in December. No package was delivered. No response to my numerous emails. No customer service at all. AVOID.
