Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We completely understand your frustration and we are very sorry that you have not yet received your order.
Our customer service team has spoken with you by phone to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the delivery service we use, IEC, has let both you and us down by promising delivery on several occasions and then not following through. We genuinely feel very sorry about this, as we have repeatedly relayed delivery dates and times to you in good faith, only for the delivery not to take place.
We are actively monitoring IEC’s activity and have been in direct contact with them again. They have now confirmed that your order is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, Friday 20th February, before 3pm, and we sincerely hope that it arrives as promised this time.
As a gesture of goodwill and in recognition of the inconvenience caused, we have also offered to refund your delivery charge.
We truly apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this has caused and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this matter.

Absolutely disgraceful service
Absolutely disgraceful service. We were promised delivery in 2–4 days, and now nearly three weeks later we are still waiting. We have made daily phone calls chasing this order and have been given nothing but empty promises.
We were told it would be delivered over the weekend, so we waited around — no delivery, no call, nothing. Then we were promised the following Friday afternoon — again, a complete no-show. Today we were assured it was on the truck and out for delivery. Once again, nobody arrived.
It’s disgusting how customers are treated. We’ve been left waiting around multiple days, rearranging our plans for deliveries that never happen. We’ve now had to cancel our tiler twice, and our kitchen is due to be installed in days with no floor ready. This has caused huge stress, delays, and additional costs. If we had been told the truth about the delays, we would have purchased elsewhere.
Completely unreliable, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Do not trust the delivery times they promise.

We are currently experiencing serious issues with our transport partner IEC. This does not excuse what you have experienced, but it does explain why delivery commitments were not met and why communication fell short of the standard you should expect from us.
We are actively dealing with IEC to resolve these problems and to prevent this from happening again. In parallel, we are reviewing our internal processes to ensure customers are given clear, honest information if delays occur, so situations like this can be avoided in the future.
We genuinely regret the impact this has had on your project. This is not the level of service Tile Merchant aims to provide.

Great service and very fast delivery of free samples, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a fluted tile option in a large format that suited my project. Still, a positive experience overall and I’d happily consider them again in the future.

Delivery takes much longer than stated.
Price for delivery seems okay to me, but I ordered it on Monday, was told 1-2 working days for delivery, and when I called after 2 days I was told it would instead be delivered on Friday. I had to call them again on Friday as there was again no update from them, and now it's being delivered in a 3 hour window between 4:20pm and 7:20pm on a Friday, wasting yet another day. Had I known it would be 5 days for delivery, I wouldn't have ordered with them, as I needed this earlier than that. Not being able to trust delivery times means I wouldn't buy again from here.

Thank you for taking the time to explain what happened and we’re very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused you.
To explain what happened on our side: your order was originally released with our external courier (DPD) as a standard package delivery. However, we then noticed that one of the items, the skirting, was too long to be shipped safely with them. For that reason, the delivery had to be moved to our own truck service instead. Unfortunately, our trucks were already fully booked, which is why the delivery date was pushed back more than expected.
That said, we fully accept that this should have been communicated to you clearly and proactively, rather than you having to chase for updates. For that, we sincerely apologise.
Your feedback is very important to us, we have forwarded your comments to our management. We hope we’ll have the chance to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
