Placed order online and paid via BACS as requested and sent email to confirm payment and delivery. Followed up just before delivery to be advised that order had not been processed and wouldn't be arriving as agreed and planned for works. Only reason given was sorry order wasnt processed. Awful customer service. Do not touch or use

2 weeks later still no delivery despite paying £30 delivery. Only the tiles turned up not the backer boards, complained 3 times still heard nothing back. Disgusting. £70 out of pocket!

Bounds Green branch -excellent customer service from Ayaz and Oliver, who were very knowledgeable, patient and professional in providing advice on my tiling project. They were also super lovely with it even carrying all my goods to my car. I would strongly recommend this store.

Got to say some of the best customer service I have seen. You know the true value of a company when issues pop up. We ordered some tiles and the work started a few weeks later. We discovered we wouldn't have enough tiles and they had been clearance tiles. The team at @boundgreen rang around and managed to source enough and then have them transported for different branches to a single branch for collection. Keeping me in the loop all along to get this solved. Massive thanks to Oli

I purchased tiles from this shop to use as a backsplash. I chose and paid for tiles advertised as being 1 centimeter thick, but the boxes of the tiles I’ve received clearly labeled them as 0.74 centimeters thick which is also labeled on the box. This means I effectively received something different from what I chose and paid for. While the tiles look similar, their properties, including quality and thickness, are noticeably different, and this is disappointing. The tiler couldn’t use the edge trim that I’ve supplied as it was for 10mm tiles.
That said, the staff at the shop were amazing and very helpful, making the situation even more surprising. Overall, I’m disappointed with the tile quality.Try to stay away from tiles made in Turkey - ask any tiler. I didn’t…
Sent an email to look for a resolution but they didn’t bother to reply 3 days later.
Edit: the reply below mentions the tolerance of 3mm which sound ridiculous and might apply to the pack of tiles itself and what’s inside the pack. While the pack has label that specifies 0.74cm thickness how can the industry allow the seller to advertise it as 1cm.

I recently purchased tiles form the Luton branch and I have to say that the tiles and prices are very good but the main reason I would 100% recommend and use tile diy again is the customer service, we dealt with a few of the guys in the shop and all of them were amazing and professional and was willing to help in every way, Thanks for all your help.

please add some filters to your website, I'm so frustrated scrolling through pages and pages of tiles and you can't even filter between matt and gloss

I can highly highly recommend. So professional I can not fault them. There was an error on our banks part which paid twice I panicked obviously, I called at 7.30am spoke to Steve the store manager he knew straight away it had been paid twice. Within in three hours it had been refunded into our account. Honestly I am so impressed. I can’t thank you enough.

We could see the tiles on the floor as well as on the walls which was very useful as the colours look a bit different depending on the angle.

The Hanworth Branch has an abundance of choice of tiles. We ordered tiles before for a bathroom _ we were well informed of the delivery times as well.

The best in its sector. I have been in the throes of renovating a house for the past half year. All my 3 bathrooms in the house are from Tiles DYI, everything starting from tiles to radiators to entire bathroom furniture have been provided by Tiles DIY Colchester. Colin in the store is absolutely phenomenal, one of the most supportive, empathetic, and knowledgeable tradesperson I have worked with on this project.

I have always been happy to post glowing reviews on Trustpilot for companies giving me outstanding service. In this case, the opposite applies. This regards my Tiles DIY order no. SOR00072783 dated 13/3/2024 for Thassos White marble tiles. The sample shown in the Bounds Green branch was a perfect match to our existing tiles and the salesman promised that the ones ordered would be of the same quality. However, on delivery, we were horrified to see that they were far from it. All the boxes were heavily stained – caused by long-term storage in a damp environment [according to the salesman]. Over time, most of the tiles had absorbed this yellow/brown staining. [multiple photos available]. Most of the tiles were extremely poor quality or pitted or scratched or broken. No less than 30 extra boxes were delivered in with the promise they would be better. They weren’t, and the branch manager came himself to inspect them. In the end we could only use 15 sq metres and the salesman came, checked the unused tiles and took them all away with the boxes. Now the Operations Manager has refused to even refund us for the unused tiles, breaking their own contract terms, in my opinion [his email dated 15/8/2024]. Disgraceful. This review, prior to submitting, was hand-delivered to Tiles DIY staff for fact-checking in my presence.

Absolutely amazing service provided by tiles diy staff member Shahid at ilford store. Greeted us politely when I visited the store with family, offered us nice hot chocolate. Very polite, very respectful and professional staff he is, helped us with our required tiles coverage area for our property efficiently managed and delivered on time.
