Love these bags for bicycling, motorcycling and just everyday usage. I bought a new medium size one. I still have my xl bag from 25+ years ago, a bit worn but still functional.

I was sending my 15 year old messenger bag back to have the liner replaced. Amazing job. It looks like a brand new bag! The cost was low ($25) and the speed (8 days) were both impressive. I also love the company's principal of keeping their old products out of landfill. By that I mean they'd make more money by selling me a new item, but they were willing to repair my ancient bag.

This is possibly the best lifetime warranty experience I’ve ever had. TimBuk2 stood by their promise to quality and care. They also made it easy. I cannot recommend their products enough for both quality and customer support. I only wish that they would bring back some of their legacy cycling specific catalog.

My wife bought this messenger bag for my birthday 7 years ago; I have used it almost daily ever since. It has seen a LOT of wear and tear. Finally the zippers on the outside pocket died. I sent in pictures and they said, "Sure, it's covered under warrantee, send it in." We live near SF, so we brought it to their store where the worker was super helpful, very efficient, returned a bunch of stuff I forgot to clean out of one pocket and helped me pick out a replacement if it couldn't be fixed. (That model isn't made any more.). Good news! Five days later I get the email saying it's all fixed up and being sent back. Total cost = $0. I love this company!

Live person e-mail customer service! FedEx lost my order, and a real person at Timbuk2 arranged for a replacement. She reached out to FedEx, confirmed that FedEx lost the shipment, and made it right.

The whole process was simple and straight forward. Originally they said 6-10 weeks, its been 1. Its on it way back to me. We'll see how they did on the repair then.
So far super impressive.

I ordered a backpack online and received an email confirmation instructing me to track the shipment on Shop. But there was no information on Shop and the item did not arrive. I called and after a ten minute hold was told they had to check and email me back. A few hours later, I got an email with a link to FedEx and a tracking number. Still waiting to see when it will arrive.

I have had my bag for a while and had to do a warranty as an issue with the handle occurred. Everything was very simply and smooth; I am very happy with the service and with my decision to have purchased a Timbuk2 bag in the first place. I would definitely recommend their products.

Had to get my bag fixed after 5 years of use and Timbuk2 honored their warranty by repairing it for free. The process was easy and everyone I corresponded with were nice and caring. Even the process of paying for shipping was made very convenient

To be clear: Sophia’s assistance and professionalism was superb.
I am beyond disappointed in Timbuk2’s cheaply designed luggage and the hoops the company puts in place to limit how they support customers when needing repairs to a checked copilot bag that broke only after two trips.
I question everything from the lack of intentionality and thought that Timbuk2’s product team put into understanding the customer journey of brand loyal customers like I was. Sophia shared that the product and design philosophy is “designed to be repaired”. If thats the case, why did it either cost $200 for me to ship my bag to a repair facility just to wait six weeks for a potential fix or to pay for the repair kit myself when its beyond self repair? Would Ford motors instill confidence in its customers if it suddenly changed its motto from “Built Ford tough” to Ford, built to be repaired? No.
I will not be supporting Timbuk2 moving forward because I know everything I need to know about the lack of care that goes into creating value for customers. Covering your label with black tape on my luggage on my upcoming trip and immediately donating this roller when I’m back.
I am 100% likely to give Timbuk2 an NPS of 2 and the reason it isnt a 1 is because your customer care team, Sophia in particular, provided excellent options and support. At least someone at the company wants to create value for the people who (used to) buy your products.
