Completely unable to solve an issue
Although the alarm system hardware is good, the technical department are completely unable to solve any issues. They came up with some solutions but none worked and now they have gone completely silent. If I could I’d give them zero stars but that isn’t possible on trustpilot.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service, prompt and courteous. So helpful, a fast and inexpensive delivery and charge and a free return with full refund on my fault! I am so pleased. I've already purchased 3 of the Olivia cameras, they have been a Godsend, I would always recommend them for Elderly relatives. I purchased another 2 from the website recently and the customer support team, particularly Naziz was extremely helpful and quick to respond.

Overall good but some drawbacks
We invested quite a lot in this system and here is a summary of my experience after almost 3 years experience (since Sept 2020) together with suggested fixes for the developers where necessary.
Their support service is excellent, always replying and ever helpful and patient. Thank you and congrats.
The camera ("Sophia", received free with my order) is excellent, great definition and configurations.
Door/window sensors - very good but slightly flimsy. They need to be fixed to a flat surface for best results. Batteries (1xAA) seem to last over a year.
Vibration sensors - require 2xAAAA batteries and these only last about 4 months. Upkeep is messy and expensive. Disappointing. We are replacing these by the equivalent door/window sensors. We did not get any discount we might have expected in the circumstances.
PIR sensors - excellent and battery life (2xAA) seems to be at least a year.
External Siren - Uses mains power. Unfortunately, this replicates any signals from the base unit. Result is that if you wish to have, say, a 10 second exit time, the siren beeps noisily announcing to all and sundry that you are leaving the house. Our fix is to set the alarm after we leave the house, not the most satisfactory of arrangements. FIX: new software in the base unit.
Smart bulb - works well. Recently I needed to reconnect this to a new router. The reset bulb instructions are wrong. Instead of ON/OFF twice you need to do this ON/OFF about 8 times. FIX: simple, new instructions.
Remote control: works perfectly.
Keypad and fobs: works perfectly but we rarely use. The fobs need you to press a keypad key in advance and they do work perfectly. The keypad and fobs are probably most useful where you have visitors.
We have not tried or tested any voice activation connections.
One annoyance is that when the battery life of a unit (e.g. door/window sensor) has expired, the next time you activate that sensor (e.g. by opening the window), it triggers the full alarm. It took us a while to realise what was going on. FIX: use a quiet notification to the homeowner.
The Clan app - works well and is user-friendly.
Finally, a big plus is that this system does not rely on any form of monthly or annual subscription.
Overall I recommend this system. You can adapt it to your needs provided you are aware of the drawbacks. Some reprogramming of the base unit firmware could greatly improve the system.

Time2 cameras and doorbell are excellent value for money, they are compact, everything works as advertised, the camera resolution and wide view is excellent. We got there in the end…
When changing my Broadband supplier I had to reset and reconnect my cameras. 3 out of 4 connected without issue, the fourth would not. I contacted Time2 support and spoke to Nazia who was very helpful. It took a while to convince them that the camera was defective but they did replace it eventually.

Great company brilliant security products
I rang Time2 as we had a new router and I wasn’t sure how to change wifi on our cameras and doorbell. I spoke to Nazia on the helpline and she talked me through what to do. I have rung the helpline in the past and they have always been very helpful and patient as I’m not tech minded. I recommend this company for their customer service and their reasonable priced products.
