Customers frequently mention that the plants arrive healthy and well-packaged, with many growing nicely after being placed in the ground. The shipment was delayed over a month

The shipment was delayed over a month. When I finally got the plants I potted them right away. Most have not come up.

We're sorry to hear your order didn't meet your expectations.

During our busy spring season, processing times can occasionally be longer due to the high volume of orders. Many bare-root perennial plants spend their first growing season establishing healthy root systems and may not produce visible top growth until the following spring. While it may appear they haven't come up, many are developing below the soil.

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for giving our family-owned nursery the opportunity to serve you.

Shipped way too late in the season

Shipped way too late in the season. Pretty sure I've lost 80+% of the plants due to a heat wave hitting right after getting them in the ground after they arrived over a month after the order was placed. Holding out hope that some of the 80% survived and I see some new plants next season. Was also short around 6 lyreleaf sage plants that I had to order from another vendor.

We're sorry to hear your order didn't meet your expectations.

During our busy spring season, processing times can occasionally be longer than usual due to the high volume of orders. Unfortunately, once plants are transplanted during periods of extreme heat, establishment can become much more challenging.

Many of our native perennials also spend their first growing season developing strong root systems and may not produce visible top growth until the following spring, so we hope you'll still see additional plants emerge next season.

Regarding the Lyreleaf Sage, we apologize if your order was short. That certainly isn't the experience we want our customers to have.

Thank you for your feedback.

2/3 failure rate

Took a long time from ordering to actually receiving the plants (5/9 to 6/2), and by then we were pretty much into summer. Of the three different types of wildflowers I received, only the echinacea made it. Black-eyed susan and goldenrod never came up at all. I’m disappointed, and not planning to order from them again.

We're sorry to hear your order didn't meet your expectations.

During our peak spring season, processing times can be longer due to the high volume of orders. Bare-root wildflowers such as Black-eyed Susans and Goldenrod often spend their first growing season developing strong root systems and, in many cases, do not produce visible top growth until the following spring. This is a normal part of their establishment process.

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for giving our family-owned nursery the opportunity to serve you.

We're sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations.

During our busy spring season, processing times can occasionally be longer than usual due to the volume of orders. Shasta Daisies are perennial plants that often spend their first season establishing strong root systems and, depending on growing conditions, may not produce significant top growth until the following spring.

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed.

Our planting instructions are available on our website, on the QR code included with every shipment, and in our planting videos. Many of our bare-root perennials also spend their first growing season establishing roots and may not produce visible top growth until the following spring, depending on the variety.

We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to make our planting guidance even easier to find.

We're sorry to hear your plants never sprouted.

Many of our bare-root perennials spend their first growing season establishing roots and often do not produce visible top growth until the following spring. While it can appear that nothing is happening above ground, many species are developing below the soil before emerging the next season.

We appreciate your feedback and hope your plants surprise you with healthy new growth next spring.

We're sorry to hear that some of your plants didn't survive.

Our plants are inspected before shipping, but because they are living plants, shipping and environmental conditions can occasionally affect individual plants differently. We're glad to hear the rest of your order arrived healthy, though we're disappointed that six did not perform as expected.

We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve the quality and consistency of every shipment.

Great speed and communication

Delivery was almost exactly on time, down to the hour. Price was amazing, and I got a root ball like I expected. I ordered a lily of the valley.

Edit- I meant to put 5 stars, the flowers are beautiful. Dunno why it posted as 4 the first time

I got six roots and planted them all

I got six roots and planted them all. Can't remember the exact delivery date but it was around the day noted in this review. It was hard to tell which end of the root should go in the ground. I scratched both ends, as advised in the video that I watched and advise others to do the same. Might be an idea to somehow mark which end is which, maybe with a red Sharpie to show "this side up". The other thing is that of the 6 roots, only one is sprouting. I've seen lush bushes on people's fences near me and might just ask if I can nab a root or two from them.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you found our planting video helpful and appreciate your suggestion about marking the top of the roots—we'll certainly take that into consideration.

If only one of your plants has emerged so far, please don't give up on the others just yet. Many bare-root plants emerge at different rates depending on the species, soil temperatures, and local growing conditions.

Please email me directly at help@tnnursery.net with your order number. I'd be happy to review your order, identify the plants you received, and help determine whether they simply need more time or if there's another issue. We'd love the opportunity to help make this right.
