Sent out of date coffee, no customer response!

Coffee sent out on 11/12/22 with best before date 31/12/22, ie less than 3 weeks.

No phone no, so emailed them twice now, still no response.

As others have said customer support is non-existent.

Will ask bank to refund.

Won't buy again.

Edit: dated 8 Oct 24 - request for further details after 10 months!!!!

What do you need (1) short dated goods - 3 weeks, *(2) don't reply to emails at the time - twice.

This behaviour appears rather odd - you should have followed up rather sooner than this.

They turned up….

Bought this product for a while, I suppose they get a 2 because they turned up. Last batch of pods don’t work properly in my machine as others have reported … despite machine being cleaned and descaled .. original brand pods do work … reached out to Toast customer support and NO response as others have reported … poor product and poor customer service … won’t be buying again

Superb coffee

Superb coffee, easy to order, soon arrived. The price was unbelievable. We're still buying coffee from this business. My hopes were met.

Ordered product

Ordered product - a week later and it's not arrived - poor communication - not sure what's happening with them now as they did respond initially but have now stopped responding .... will have to make a claim via my bank I guess. ... Update on this (which is why I've amended the star rating) - they have refunded me.

I placed a order with this company for 100 coffee pods. Need slight improvement with communication.

I placed a order with this company for a 100 pods and was really looking forward to receiving my coffee. How wrong i was. I placed the order on the 14th November and received a message from Toast Coffee saying my coffee will arrive in November and i would receive notification when dispatched. As of yet, not only have i not received my order, but have not even received any response from Toast Coffee about the were about's of my order.
I've sent multiple emails to them, asking when i will receive my coffee pods. With absolutely NO RESPONSE from Toast Coffee apart from a basic automated email message.
The customer service from Toast Coffee is terrible, whats even more frustrating is that they have NO contact number to call them to ask about orders, just a email address which all you get back is a automated reply.
It seems pointless to me to have a email address and a automate email stating someone will get back to you. And then no one can be bothered to reply back with information. It seems once Toast Coffee get your money, they then don't care about their customers.
Absolutely unacceptable customer services.
One of the worst companies I've even ordered from, to not even reply to help their customers.
I fully understood when i placed this order that Toast Coffee were a small company, and not a globe corporation. Which is why i placed the order, as i like to support small companies working hard to provide great product. But the company size has nothing to do with terrible customer service, and has even less to do with not replying to customers emails which I've sent many and got no reply.
Due to the experience I've had with Toast Coffee, and lack of service. i wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
TERRIBLE

Update: after writing this review, within 2 hours I receive a notification from PayPal saying I'd been refunded my payment from Toast Coffee.
So without replying to my emails asking about my order delivery. Toast Coffee just cancelled my order for no reason.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAIVIOUR
Toast Coffee should be ashamed on how they treat their customers. I've never used a company that completely ignores their paying customers for no reason.

Final Update:
This was my first order with Toast Coffee. And I still stand by my review, regarding the lack of communication from Toast Coffee. Which lead to a lot of misunderstandings, seems the order didn't arrive due to manufacturing holdups. Which is fine and really wouldn't have been a problem if I was told that , but as stated above I received no response from the multiple emails sent, and only got the problem sorted out after leaving a bad review which I shouldn't have to do.
Toast Coffee were kind enough to send out a different coffee pot package so that I was able to take to my parents in Taiwan as part of their gift. Which was much appreciated. I do believe Toast Coffee are a genuine company and try their best to look after their customers. But they still need to talk to their customers if they send a email. This would in turn stop any complaints. So I've decided to change my review score to average.
If the coffee pots they've sent me are enjoyable , I think I will still place another order with Toast Coffee .

I have been so hopeful about this brand…

I have been so hopeful about this brand but had real customer service issues. I could see that two payments had been taken from my account after my order at the weekend. I only had one order email and immediately messaged to try to rectify this. I received no response so after 24 hours, I resent the email and received a really prompt response from Jack so this seemed really promising. I then heard nothing else and with no resolution so after another 24 hours, I sent another email and again, received no response. After picking up my delivery, I realised that the order had been duplicated, explaining why two payments had been taken so sent an email asking if I could return one, as per the instructions on the website. Again, I have received no response and I have now spent £70 on coffee which tastes very nice, but which I am experiencing some technical issues with the water not filtering through properly. I have tried it on the short setting and it seems to work better in this way.

Edited: Stars edited to reflect quick response from Toast who have sorted my issues now and explained that they were trying to trace the payment issue. Thanks for your help - it’s really appreciated.

Essential for this 'not a morning person'!!

The first thing I do in the morning is have a shot of toast coffee. I'm not a morning person, so I need my coffee to kick start my day. I love the unique flavours that you can taste with the different regions. Can't recommend enough.

Toast Coffee has changed me from…

Toast Coffee has changed me from someone who doesn't drink coffee to someone who does drink coffee! I am so pleased I bought this for my husband and he tempted me to try it. This coffee was smooth and easy to drink -full of flavour and absolutely no nasty bitter after taste which other coffees often have. It's great to finally be able to drink a coffee I like! I'll be ordering again.

The best coffee pods I’ve ever tried

I’m a coffee addict and have spent a lot of time researching the best options when it comes to nespresso compatible pods. I have tried them all and have had varying experiences with regard to taste. TOAST is exceptional. The best range of flavours that I’ve come across and I always receive my order quickly and efficiently. No hesitation in strongly recommending.
