Ordered two olive trees as a pair - they arrived very promptly and are in fabulous condition and well watered. Really really pleased with them.

Used Todd once and was great - second order did not arrive and no comms from the seller. Lack of reliability is disappointing as based on first order thought this was a good online retailer. Seems not.

Just brilliant in every way. Order arrived 26 hours after placing it. The plants are v good quality at a competitive price. Highly recommended.

I ordered some canna Durban last week, which arrived today. Really pleased with them, these are established plants with no canna virus. Well worth spending more and buying established plants to be sure they’re not full of canna virus.

Shipped quickly and packed very securely. I would definitely recommend to others ! I look forward to shopping with them again soon!

Bought a Trachycarpus fortunei palm from them yesterday. The website said the plant would be 55-70cm tall not including the pot so I myself, being used to the way other people deliver, was expecting the palm to be in the lower height range. I was wrong. The palm is tall and gorgeous, about 112cm (45') together with the pot and really rich in leaves. It arrived promptly in less than 24 hours. I did get charged for the delivery but even with the delivery cost added, the price was still by far the best I could find online for this plant size. To be honest, I think it looks even better than in the pictures they've got on the website. Couldn't be happier with this purchase :)

Excellent plants, arrived in well packaged condition in a fast time to avoid any stress.
Will most definately use them again rather than other websites I tried them once and NEVER NEVER again.

It seem as though I'm not the only one disappointed with my tree ferns which came late autumn, as with other reviews my tree ferns have no fonds I followed every instructions even bought the tree fern feed, nurturing them through the winter, was offered a 50% voucher to spend on their website of plants. Maybe a phone call to the RHS about them promoting Todd's " Rip off" botanicals! Or even rip off Britain, if there's enough complaints, they will look into it. I will also be looking into consumer complaints tomorrow.

Purchased a tree fern early 2021, took months and to arrive (out of their control which was totally understandable.) I was just excited to finally have one! When it finally arrived, I was a little concerned as it didn’t look too healthy, the fronds had turned black and gone mushy. I emailed to express my concern and they responded to say expect new ones in spring. So over the winter I’ve kept it shielded in my garage, keeping it hydrated, but still looks as dead as the day it arrived. I emailed them with an update asking for a new one to be sent as it’s never shown any sign of life. To which they’ve responded saying they don’t offer refunds, but would offer a £15 (50%) of the plant cost (not including the delivery of course) to spend on the website, although they don’t have any tree ferns in stock and won’t be restocking. To which I responded saying I would appreciate a full refund as this hasn’t been my fault, I don’t know what more I could’ve done really? But no, we’ve hit a wall, surely there’s insurance in place for this? Pretty disappointing. Would not recommend taking a punt here.

This has clearly been a difficult year for suppliers with the pandemic and the problems in the Suez Canal. That said, I’ve paid for a product in good faith and have been patient through the problems (not requesting a refund, instead letting Todd’s retain my money). I hoped to receive a tree fern which was bought for me by my daughters as a Mother’s Day gift.

The tree fern was ordered in March from Todd’s Botanics. It eventually arrived in September. Disappointingly half of the trunk was black, squelchy and rotten, probably because of the length of time spent in transit from NZ. The croziers on were split and detached, probably because the package had been dropped on the crown at some point.

The plant has no hope of recovering. I sent photos to Todd’s, along with an explanation of the problems. They came back to say that all was fine and that they would give a refund (no replacement offered for damaged goods) if I sent it back to them and if they agreed, on assessment, that it was as I described.

It’s a heavy, rotten, 2 foot high lump of wood that cost £90. From the unfriendly, unhelpful tone of Todd’s emails it’s clear that sending it back is clearly throwing good money after bad. I therefore do not recommend this supplier.

Bought two Canna lilies. Wanted living plants as reviews of dry tubers/seeds on other sites generally bad. I had a bit of trouble with the order process but I may have not been putting information in correctly. As it was a Saturday evening I sent a contact message about it, but then I got it to work on Sunday so sent another telling them to ignore the first. Got helpful replies from Julie to both on Monday. Also got notification that my order had been dispatched the same day.

The courier was supposed to deliver within twenty four hours but on Tuesday sent a message saying there was a delay but should not be more than twenty four hours. Clearly an issue with courier operation rather than the plant supplier. Delivery arrived about 10.30 Wednesday morning.

The plants were really securely packed in two boxes suited to their individual size. It took a while to get into them but they were very well protected from any possible damage. Package included useful succinct care instructions. Most importantly the plants are good quality. Multiple sturdy stems and strong, healthy leaves. Extra cost of living plants justified, I'm very pleased with them.

I had originally ordered a Canna Musa Fusiloia back in March 2021 and sadly after 3 months of waiting it didn’t grow. I let Todd’s botanicals know and they sent me a brand new one within 24 hours and it was delivered promptly and in great condition.
Customer service was fantastic, I felt like I was in safe hands and so was my canna! Thankyou so much, I really trust the service they provide and I will definitely be ordering from Todd’s again in the future.

Small issue with plants was sorted very quickly. Unlike other reviewers I found their customer service (Julie) to be excellent and she got back to me within 24 hours. Julie also took the trouble to check that everything had been resolved

I was initially a little worried about using Todds Botainics due to the reviews and some of the responses to reviews... BUT after another store couldn't fulfill my order, I decided to order from Todds Botanics and I was pleasantly surprised - My olive tree arrived quickly and very good health!

My son bought me a 1 foot tree fern it was duly delivered and planted. 2 months on after diligently watering and giving 2 weak feeds the fronds were very short (6 to 8 inches) and very distorted. My friends ferns were in a different league and horticulturists that I spoke to said that in not so many words that I’d got a duff one.
I emailed Todd’s Botanics and I got this reply:-
“ I’m not sure why to be honest, I would have expected bigger fronds which is the norm. They do have a good colour to them just smaller than I would have expected. I see there is still another frond unfurling and I would hope that it will send more up. ”
I asked if they would consider exchanging and I didn’t get a reply. Seems they don’t want to know me now they’ve got my money. So draw your only conclusions. I won’t be doing any more business with them and when I buy a 6 to 8 foot tree fern next year I’ll go with a reputable company like The Palm Tree Company.

Like others on this site, I ordered some plants, which when they arrived were unsatisfactory. I tried to contact this company by phone, email and their website contact page. No response whatsoever.
I'm now taking this matter further as they are clearly in breach of the Consumer Rights Act.
I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company.

Have just bought 3 tree ferns, delivery was fast. The two 1 foot trees arrived as 'hairy logs', but are now starting to show knuckles and unfurl. The 2 foot tree was sent with fronds, it is huge and amazing, I think I am addicted!!

Very fast delivery on tree ferns and in excellent condition. One of the ferns in the order had been mislaid by the delivery company but this was replaced immediately by Todd's and without question. Excellent customer service at this difficult time.
