Good experience

I was very nervous to purchase a very expensive specialty tool on line. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the item very quickly. It was also about $100 less than anywhere else. I'll be looking here in the future when I need something.

POOR RETURN POLICY

Ordered 3 items, called to return 1, a 1/2 battery powered impact that we used 2 time and realized it was too heavy and too powerful for this application. When they sent me a Return RMA it stated (this item must be returned as unused) so I called them to explain we had to use it to know, it was used twice but you could tell it had been used. They said they cant sell used equipment. So I am stuck with an Impact I cant use.
Other tool sites have better return policies.

Placed a order, It was cancelled by toolsource, and I still have not got a refund

I placed a order for a evaporative cooler on the website. The order was initially accepted and I paid via a credit card. I got confirmation email with a order number. The order was then cancelled by toolsource, and the only way I found out was by a small message (that was not easy to find) they left me on there website. I did not receive a phone call, email, or any other form of communication telling me about the cancelled order. The best part is that it has been several days and I have not seen the charges reversed or credited back to me. The path taken by toolsoiuce during this process was extremely unprofessional and cowardice. This company will not stand behind the advertised prices and own there mistakes. This very poor review could have been easily avoided by a simple phone call with a attempt to resolve the problem, or better yet, eating the mistaking and letting me know. I would of been a customer for life.

Hi Brian, We are very sorry about your frustration. We have over one hundred thousand items in our online store and over the past weekend a technical glitch botched the pricing on about 250 items. As soon as we were notified of the error we made the appropriate corrections and notified all the customers immediately along with 10% off of your next order with us. Your credit card was never billed by us. Your bank may have held the authorization but we never processed this transaction and everyone effected was notified by email. We truly apologize for the frustration but we simply cannot ship a product for $1200 that costs nearly 3 times that amount. We apologize for not making a personal phone call to you about this we will be sure to handle these issues by phone in the future.

$180 Converter kit didn't work, No refund given

We had to take our current Lenco welder almost completely apart to try this Panel Spotter Conversion kit out. It did not work. We had to take it apart and re-assemble our welder again. I sent it back as close to what it looked like when it got here (looked like it had been returned before). They sent it back to me and refused to refund our money because it was not in 'restockable condition'. I will never buy from this company again, nor will I ever recommend them.

We are sorry about the issues you have had with this item, it was shipped out as new it was unused we have only a handful of refurbished items available on our site and we do not resell used items. Our return policy clearly states it has to be unused in the original packaging when returning and item for refund. If you have issues with the functionality of the item we can work with the manufacturer to get the situation corrected under warranty but we can not process a refund items after they have been used.

Huge selection and great customer service

I needed a basic tool set and while searching around I found that Toolsource had the best selection. I emailed customer service and received a prompt reply with pretty knowledgeable CSRs.

Next time I need a tool, or something related, I'll come here.

Great place to find all of your tools!

I've had great luck with Toolsource. The variety of products is amazing and the prices are right. Customer service has been great, any time I have a question about a product on the website they have been happy to help.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

This has to be some of the worst service that I have ever had. I ordered the product on June 20 and today June 27, I still have not received the product. I have contacted them 3 times to find out what is going on with my product. When I call I always have to leave a message and they say they will contact me. I will give them credit that they have called me back twice but not every time. Tool Source as of this writing has not been able to tell me if the product has shipped or where it is. I will not order from them again and I would not suggest you order if you what your product. I am ok with product taking time to come slow mail, but at least communicate with the customer when they contact you asking where the product is. I gave them a one star because I can't get an answer about where my product is. I am going to try and cancel the order.

We are sorry you have had such a problem contacting us, our offices are open from 8a - 5pm Eastern Standard time. unfortunately many customers use email accounts that block our emails we have very little control over that but I assure you that we do everything to provide you with all the information before processing your order. We deal with hundreds of suppliers and Manufacturers and they do not all provide live inventory so we don't show it on our website. We always contact customers immediately when items on the order are not in stock and check various suppliers before placing the order on hold until we speak with you.

It is as bad as a bad marriage..the things you are promised and paid for you shall never get.

I have seriously faced the worst service with Toolsource.com. They 1stly promise you that they would deliver quickly and inform you that they have most of the material but 30% is on back order for 4 weeks (understandable and thanks for being honest) but when you get your shipment you have just received 50% of your order. Then you call them email them and thats when they inform you that yes more of the stuff you ordered is on back order. They say 2 weeks you should have it. After those days are past you get am email saying that hey we wont be sending you your stuff and we do not have a date of deliver either, so basically indefinitely. Do some research and the same parts are available freely in the market but as they do not want to save their cost and not keep up to their promises they basically just ask you to cancel your order. Their customer service is really bad, I spoke to [name], she was really not helpful at all. My suggestion is go look for another source don't order from here, they will just take your order and make some money of you and keep you hanging for all the other stuff without even informing you.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

if they have your item in stock and you don't need to contact them for any reason, they might not be a bad company. However, in my case they incorrectly put an item on their website, a pressure paint tank for 18 dollars. I was happy, thought it was a good deal. 5 days later I receive a gasket in the mail. That's it.. A gasket. So I call and leave a message for them to call me back, 5 days after that, no call back. So I call them again EARLY in the morning, and they pick up. SO what they are doing is neglecting the messages left on their voicemail and just answering the phone, if it's not busy. As soon as I try to explain the situation to the representative, she cuts me off and doesn't want to hear any information but the part number. They ended up issuing me a refund, but if you think your opinion matters to toolsource think again.
