Set-up a debit online a while back, wanted to amend the amount but no facility online to do this (you can't cancel it either) . No telephone contact, the only contact means is via webform which doesn't even provide you with a confirmation email, you need to screenshot it using your phone camera for proof. And no response even if you contact them through the webform. The website says they have an app on the apple store but they don't. I now having to go to my bank to get the payment stopped completely

I tried to set up a fund raising page. Answered all questions on the registration process. When I got to SUBMIT there was no thing but a blank screen. An email arrived welcoming me, but when using the user name/password, just set up - not recognised. I sent emails asking for support through their relevant link - nothing. I’m really surprised that my charity is using this company and the 2.7 score speaks volumes. So disappointing when you’re trying to help people.

Total Giving is a free to use fundraising platform. It has all the basic functions and is easy to navigate. If you're looking for a no-frills platform I would recommend it, especially for small charities that are cost-conscious. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of the subscriber platforms but neither does it have the hefty charges! We have been using it for around ten years.

I made a one off £10 donation to a charity and now they’re taking £30 every 2 weeks. Contacted TG through their form 3 times in 7 days because I couldn’t find a phone number and no response.
Still waiting while I fork out £30 every 2 weeks 😡

Next step I’ll be complaining to charities commission

I had an email from ‘totalgiving .co.uk’ which was DVLA scam so be careful as there was a link asking for my details.

I set up and used TotalGiving for a charity (HaVinG) - great platform - no problems. I now want to register a new Charity but cannot get past the message that I already have an account. I have sent 3 separate requests for support but no response so, very sadly, will use another.

I donated and the process was smooth and hassle free. Seamless connectivity with my PayPal account.

Zero. I recently set up an event to raise money for a well known UK Cancer charity using TotalGiving having used them previously. A few people reported to me receiving an error code when trying to donate using their credit cards although PayPal payments seemed to work OK. I contacted TotalGiving via their website, phone and direct email but no reply at all - apart from the direct email resulted in receipt of an auto-response message telling me their mail box is full! I’m now questioning whether any of the successful donations have actually reached the charity (they are currently looking into it).

I pledged £5 to a charity and noticed £9.20 was debited from my account. The invoice I received only stated my donation plus Gift Aid with no reference to any additional amount. I've queried this twice and had no response.

I also tried to register our charity with Total Giving and nothing happened. I have also emailed them and had no response to that either. I will regretfully have to look elsewhere now.

Its a pity there isnt a 'no star review' option - I've been trying to register the charity I work for with Total Giving for a fortnight now - no response to my application (submitted twice) and no reply to the two messages sent using the 'Contact Us' portal. Doesnt seem to be any way to speak to anyone. Will now look elsewhere.

I've been trying to contact Total Giving for months with absolutely no reply. Very worrying for a company that handles money on our behalf. Luckily our fundraising pages have not been used for quite a while - I just want to have them taken down so that no one will come across them and donate.

I am actually worried about the legitimacy of this company.
I set Total Giving up for my charity and sponsorship/ payments are coming through BUT Gift Aid is not. We set it up correctly. Are other charities having a similar issue? I am about to contact the Charities Commission.
I have sent multiple messages through their contact form and Facebook messenger - since 2019 - and have never had a reply. There is no telephone number. On this review site there is a tickbox to let Total Giving know about the review - and I found an email address, but I have discovered this email is no longer valid. My worry is that Gift Aid is going somewhere other than to the charities.

Worst customer service I had ever seen. Simply there is no way you can contact them and get a reply! Whenever I call the phone number they put on their raiseyourprofile comapny website it always gives me the same recorded message 'we are unable to take your call'. I sent them loads of emails through their contact forms and directly from our email they never responded. They claim to help charities for free but when we setup an accoun on totalgiving to make use of their low fees compared with others, card payments are always declined though the same cards are always accepted anywhere else. We used every possible means to contact them to solve the problem but we never heard back from them and they claim they have a 1 hour reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avoid at all costs.

Total Giving is selling personal data to government agencies.

Like many people, I supported a social campaign on Total Giving website, as a result, my personal details (name, email, phone, address) has reached to Turkish authorities, on which the government created file to those everyone who supported the campaign.

The police and the organisation who published campaign on Total Giving did investigation. Because there is no sufficient resource for hiring a lawyer, the case has been dropped.

Total Giving, other people and I reported the case to GDPR regulators. However, there is no result or investigation at all.

Now I belive that the GDPR is not executed in the UK at all.
