They are terrible. Don’t do it. The turned my phone off for no reason. Then changed my phone number without my permission. Almost 7 days and no phone. Awful idiots that have no idea what they are doing.
Ever since Verizon Bought them!!!
Ever since Verizon bought them they have been a complete nightmare to use and deal with. Ordered a Unlocked Google Pixel 10 Pro and they had some issues activating it and could not do it. So I returned it and bought a unlocked Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the same thing having issues activating it and keep getting told "You will hear within 72 hours" just a repeat over and over still don't have my Galaxy activated thinking about switching phone carriers cause this is horrible!

Poor Wireless phone Company. Never try them. You may call all day long without reaching any agent. And their system charged me twice, until now I never reached out to any customer servise to get my money back.

I am extremely disappointed with Total Wireless customer service. I contacted support regarding a payment plan issue and spent more than an hour on the phone without receiving a resolution. Despite waiting over an hour, my issue remained unresolved, and I was not provided with a clear explanation or solution.
To make matters worse, my $65 monthly plan was changed without my authorization, causing additional confusion and frustration. I contacted customer service to get this corrected, but after spending over an hour on the call, the problem still was not fixed.
Customers should not have to spend this much time trying to resolve billing and account issues. The lack of effective support, poor communication, and inability to resolve a straightforward problem is unacceptable.
I expected much better service. Total Wireless needs to improve its customer support, billing practices, and respect for customers' time.

We were with Total Wireless for years…
We were with Total Wireless for years before Verizon bought them out. Never had an issue, excellent service which we were pleasantly surprised with since we didn't know what to expect switching to a smaller company. However, about a year ago or less, since Verizon bought them out, we started having issues with phone disconnection as our autopay approached, being flagged for spamming with no unusual texting patterns, and claims of unusual amounts of data usage. Awful customer service that could not verify our actual data usage, wouldn't give us straight answers or show us documentation to prove their claims. Rather than spend any mor HOURS of our life trying to fight with company, we are leaving and will actively promote to our family and friends to do the same. They are neither transparent or upfront with their business practices and that is definite red flag for us.

I have been a total wireless customer for over 5 years now and have had the same phone, I was having issues with my data not resetting when I paid my phone bill so called customer service and was informed my phone was reported stolen which once again always had this phone and they can’t reset my data even though I pay for it every month!🤷♀️ what? My grown children bought me this phone as a present years ago from Amazon and was an unlocked completely reset phone…so how 5 years later after having total wireless this whole time my phone is supposedly stolen!?? Thanks for nothing and confusing the shit out of me total wireless people I will be going elsewhere after that!!! And I guess call the police 😂 on myself!🙄

Would give 0 stars if I could. The first time I attempted to disconnect my service, I was actually hung up on! The second time I demanded to speak to a supervisor, and was not only told no to my demands, outright "No" not even the usual rigamarole, but was also put on hold multiple times when I repeated my demands only to get the same voice on the line! Unprofessional. No sense of customer satisfaction. Avoid at all costs.
Total Wireless total failure
If I could go lower than one star I would! No lie, I've been at this for 3 days now with their tech support waiting through countless others only not to get my questions answered or fixed. They give entirely basic answers to questions and have no technical knowledge whatsoever. I tried to tell them what my research revealed as a problem was with my esim provisioning and they just argued with me and went through their stupid script that they have. I requested to speak with a supervisor multiple times only not to have that happen. Currently I don't have Wi-Fi calling I don't have call waiting and I don't have RC chats. All of these things I had with Cricket Wireless and we're visible. Just as soon as I'm able to break the bonds of this company at the end of the month I am fleeing to another provider. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.
This company "totally" sucks
This company totally sucks. My service cuts in and out telling me my phone isn't registered i paid nearly 70 bucks for unlimited everything that I can hardly use. I sit on the phone for nearly a hr trying to get it resolved to only get trashy jazz music. As far as im concerned im owed a month of service or my money back. And the protection plan doesn't cover stolen phones like they say you have to buy a new phone in truth. They never know how to help you when you do get through to customer service they are total trash not total wireless. This is the most frustrating inexcusable bs. I can't stress how much I regret dealing with this company I urge you not to and I can only pray they go under somehow in the future. Do not use this "service"!

Total wireless and Verizon is scamming people and if you can't understand what scam is and Verizon owns Total wireless and that makes Verizon more guilty and if Total wireless and Verizon don't want to be exposed then do the right thing and allow the American Citizens answer the customers calls instead of routing calls to India Pakistan and Ukraine because they're the main scammers because all they want is money and if they do deal with the call they want a different phone number to use that phone number to scam people
My son had his phone for TWO months…
My son had his phone for TWO months…. I decided to get my daughter a phone and they went ahead and bundled the bills together even though I hadn’t even gotten her phone in the mail so I called to have them split so I could pay his bill and they messed it all up. I have talked to 3 different customer service representatives in the past three days for HOURS and the best they could come up with is that I can make a CLAIM to get him a new phone after TWO months of having it. Couldn’t make it right whatsoever and lied to me numerous times. DO NOT choose this carrier
Edit to add: you CAN switch to straight talk from them!!! I did because of course they wouldn’t refund me for the phone!!

I paid over a month ago for a new phone and 3 months of service, plus extra for next day shipping. 5 weeks later still hasn't shipped because they are out of stock on the phone. Company refuses to refund my money and all their service agents hang up on me or lie. They ignored the BBB when I filed a complaint.

Never, Ever Choose Total Wireless!
Awful customer support; terrible website.
We were Total Wireless customers for a very long time. Throughout that time, their customer service has always been uniformly terrible. They are ALWAYS "experiencing higher than usual call volume" and put you on hold for ages, both on chat, phone and text support, and often drop your support session altogether. The only reason I stuck with them was because I knew it would be a nightmare trying to transfer out. But when we tried to change our auto-pay credit card, they told us they were raising our rate, by a lot. Another support agent set us up with a special offer, and promised it would be at our old price. Then her supervisor canceled that and hiked the price back up.
So we finally switched - and they made that a nightmare of customer support h*ll, de-activating each of our phones before they could be properly connected to the new carrier. Never, EVER Choose Total Wireless! You will regret it.
Here is the most shameful part: this was all bad enough when they were a scrappy little independent carrier operating on a shoestring budget. But then Verizon bought them out - and nothing changed! Verizon CAN afford to get more and better support agents, and improve their website, but they have not done that. They would like Total to just die of neglect, apparently.

Whats worse than 1 star? I ordered a phone. $200.00. It never came. Did not even show it shipped. It said 1-2 day shipping. It never arrived. I spent over 4 hours on thr phone trying to get help. 10 or more chats. I sent emails. Not one person would help me. They stole my money. Horrible customer service. Thieves!

TOTAL waste of time and money.
I transferred my number to total wireless from Verizon. After 11 days of trying to get my number to work I was able to have Verizon recover my number and switch back. What a nightmare. A least 8 hours on the phone. I was told three times to just wait 48 hours. I spent a weeks chasing down tech support and a resolution to no end. The agents on chat are useless and can barely comprehend a sentence. The website and app are glitchy. I was promised a refund three times and never received. I'm out $20 for the first month and had to pay $40 to reactivate my line on Verizon. I also spent $30 on a phone from them because they thought my Google Pixel was the issue when it was not. It's going to cost me $10 to return the phone. So no I'm out $80 and had to go 10 days without a working phone which was a major inconvenience and spent many hours of my valuable time wasted on chasing down an issue. I would leave zero stars if I could. I highly advise anyone considering total wireless to avoid it.

The website and the app both have major issues. The service is alright as far as I can tell. But I tried to prepay the balance and it won't show up on my account. The due date keeps saying April 2026, but I paid April last month, it's May and I'm trying to pay for May. Get your gera in order Total by Verizon!!!
