Incompetent response to the weather conditions

Yesterday they cancelled today's flight without waiting to see what the actual weather would be like. Today, most flights to Amsterdam from other companies are done normally, but not Transavia. They sent a link to re-book, but the link has zero re-booking options available.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Both outbound and return flights were delayed over 3 hours with no proper updates. Total chaos.

We reserved seats weeks in advance to sit together as a family, but our seats were removed and we were seated randomly. We have two young children (4 and 6) who were seated separately from their parents, which is completely unacceptable. Staff said they “couldn’t do anything” because the flight was full.

Baggage claim was just as bad over 1 hour delay, then luggage appeared on two different belts with no information.

Very disorganized, no communication, and zero consideration for families. Would not recommend.

Flight Amsterdam Athens was cancelled

Flight Amsterdam Athens was cancelled! They did not reschedule our flight for free! They said it was weather condition but the same time Amsterdam Thessaloniki flight was done! Every serious company would compensate or would have given us a free open ticket! One star is a very generous critic!

Like all airlines these days, they squeeze every penny out of you and have no staff left to inform you properly. It’s a pathetic bunch of greedy companies. Avoid at all (even the low) cost!

Customer service just hangs up on you

My flight got cancelled, which is understandable. But, when I called the Service Number line I was directed to, I waited 30 minuted and got someone who said it was the wrong department (Flying Blue bookings), then back into the queue for 30 minutes and finally just got hung up on. Their service center is open for another 30 minutes.

My partner who I was also flying with tried calling too, but they just hung up on her even more quickly than me.

awful experience with their customer…

awful experience with their customer service line in the `netherlands and france.
called the line and selected the option according to my request, which was to change flight destination. I had to wait for 30 minutes after my selection and once I got an operator on-line, he told me to call back because he could not help with my request. I asked him kindly to internal transfer the call to someone who could but he asked me to call the same number again and follow the steps. I told him I did not want to call again and wait another 30 minutes and he kept giving me answers as if He was a robot.

Doesn’t deserve even a half star

Doesn’t deserve even a half star. Wanted to fly from Eindhoven to Austria, flight was several times delayed (7h and still not clear if it will start) without any information why. Customer service was not reachable. Very poor experience- never again.

Such bad experience!!!

Such bad experience!!!! I stayed at the gate since 1pm, my flight scheduled to leave at 14h25 , with 20 minutes delay… no one announced the boarding gate change… when I found out , the gate was closed… I had to buy another ticket to fly. No one seems wanting to help… it’s another team , a lady to guide us to get out and do the check in again… there were another 3 people didn’t make it to this flight, they were there early as well… what kind service is this? The ladies worked at the counter don’t care… terrible, terrible experience!!!!

Black travellers beware


On my return flight from Lanzarote to Amsterdam, I was singled out in the boarding queue and charged for cabin baggage that had been accepted without issue on the outbound flight. Other passengers with visibly larger bags were not stopped.
As the only Black woman in the queue, the selective enforcement raised serious concerns for me. Travel with caution and document everything.

The worst airline

The worst airline. I bought two bag 40*30*20 specifically designed for Transavia. Then when I came back from Malaga they put them in box and they thought they were not fit. They charged me 80 and didn’t let me to bring them to cabin.

Esperienza vergognosa con Transavia

Esperienza vergognosa con Transavia, soprattutto per la totale mancanza di umanità e compassione da parte del personale di check-in e di volo.

Il giorno di Natale, viaggiando con una bambina e mia moglie incinta, ci è stato imposto di pagare 70€ extra per una valigia a mano che superava i limiti consentiti di circa 3 cm in altezza, nonostante avessimo già due valigie da stiva regolarmente pagate.

Zero flessibilità, zero buon senso, zero empatia. Solo atteggiamenti burberi, scortesi e freddi, come se le persone fossero solo numeri e non famiglie in viaggio in un giorno speciale.

Compagnia low cost solo nel prezzo, ma ancora più low nei modi, nel rispetto e nell’anima.
Con una bimba e una donna incinta davanti, questa è stata la loro “umanità”.

A disgusting and shameful experience with Transavia, marked by a complete lack of compassion and humanity from both check-in and flight staff.

On Christmas Day, while traveling with a young child and my pregnant wife, we were forced to pay €70 extra for a carry-on bag that exceeded the allowed size by about 3 cm, despite having already paid for two checked bags.

No flexibility, no common sense, no empathy. Just rude, cold and heartless behavior, treating passengers like numbers instead of people — let alone a family traveling on Christmas.

A low-cost airline in every negative sense: low manners, low respect, and no soul at all.

Avoid this airline.
An absolutely disgusting experience.

Een schandalige en walgelijke ervaring met Transavia, vooral door het totale gebrek aan menselijkheid en compassie van het check-in- en cabinepersoneel.

Op Eerste Kerstdag, terwijl we reisden met een jong kind en mijn zwangere vrouw, moesten we €70 extra betalen voor een handbagagekoffer die ongeveer 3 cm te hoog was, ondanks dat we al twee ruimbagages hadden betaald.

Geen enkele flexibiliteit, geen gezond verstand en totaal geen empathie. Alleen bot, onvriendelijk en kil gedrag, alsof passagiers geen mensen zijn maar nummers.

Een echte low-cost maatschappij, niet alleen qua prijs, maar vooral qua houding, respect en menselijkheid.

Vermijd deze luchtvaartmaatschappij.
Een ronduit misselijkmakende ervaring.

Diffidate da questa compagnia.
Esperienza disgustosa e assolutamente da non ripetere.

If you want a cheap flight it’s ok we…

If you want a cheap flight it’s ok we all want that when we search for flights but keep in mind there is a big potential Not to flight on time .. and not to get to plane because they usually sell More than the number of seats of their plane .. and that what happened to me on both flights delayed for departure flight for more than 14 hours and on return flight they didn’t let me get on plane and gave me sby as they did with four different passengers with me .. so i just want to advise to keep distance from these airline..
