Easiest, least stress option
We always buy our currency from Travelex and collect from the airport for a couple of reasons.
It’s one less thing to remember to pack, the rates are competitive and the service from the team is always friendly and responsive.

Very straightforward experience
Very straightforward experience. Prompt delivery, the only annoying feature was a $100 note in my currency! Not what I was expecting! Will hopefully change it at Heathrow Travelex!

Travelex @ Leeds / Bradford airport need to clearly display the Moroccan dirham exchange rate, they need to employee someone who communicates clearly to the paying customer and the same employee and Travelex need to understand that a receipt for the customer should be forthcoming and therefore not have to be requested by the customer. Although the Travelex exchange rate for the dirham is poor due to (company overheads, closed currency availability and fluctuating rate as stated by their complaints team) this was not my main complaint.
Having complained to Travelex by email to their complaints department, firstly Hazel and then Scarlett, I was offered £5 refund, but politely declined this.
I feel totally hoodwinked by Travelex tactics, and just to reiterate the Moroccan dirham WAS NOT clearly displayed, the Travelex employee DID NOT communicate clearly and as a customer I SHOULD NOT have to request a receipt although just as well I did in order to see how Travelex took over £80 of my money and handed back in seconds 600 dirham, this cost me around £36. Nice work if you can get it!
A terrible way for a company to do business, in fact I'd expect this kind of treatment from a back street money lender. It's also worth noting that other reviewers of Travelex on Trustpilot make mention of exchange rates not being displayed at the point of sale, so it ain't just me then!!!

At 3am randomly charged me £311…
At 3am randomly charged me £311 without reason or concern, when I called and messaged to ask why they said to “just dispute” the payment which then said I did it with Apple Pay to a company called “Travelex Foreign Coin” which would’ve been totally impossible from me especially not for half the amount on my balance with them. BEWARE!
