0 star if I could

0 star if I could. Called on 01/11/22 to make a warranty claim on my TRAXXAS alias (garbage I’ve bought 3 and alll 3 were defective). I believe his name was daniel, he mentioned i would have to pay shipping. I asked if they could cover the shipping this one time and he agreed to do so. Well when I called the following week to finalize the return because i never received the emails from them, i asked him why they aren’t giving me a shipping label and that he said they would do it this one time for me. Daniels response was “you are putting words in my mouth. You are trying to re-write my memory and i don’t appreciate that” and proceeded to hang up on me. Also don’t bother buying the alias. I bought 3, all were defective. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. After flying the 3rd one, one single time of light use and babying it, the rotors were defective the next day. Stay far away from TRAXXAS they are a joke.

EDIT. The guy at customer service called me back and apologized for the mix up stating i was correct that he did offer the one time shipping for free but that they could not fulfill that promise and instead would send me two free batteries. I hope the guy didn’t get into too much trouble with his manager but i appreciate them reaching out to making it right.

Peace of junk we went through 3 motors and it broke in 5 minutes on 2 motor and about 30 on 3 motor my recommendation is not to ever buy a rc car unless you want to spend money on a new motor and other things.

Bought a brand new latrax- junk

Bought a brand new latrax alias it did not work from get go. Tried to return and can't from store I bought it at. Customer service will not give refund on junk only offered to fix it. Only good thing is they offered free shipping but I have to pay for new box to send back. Not a way to win over customers or get repeat business.. I will never and suggest that you never buy one of there products..

Stay away built to break

Stay away built to break, from the first day it gave me issues. First it was the charger it came with. Then the steering module. Then it would do super fast and slow down all of a sudden. Bought another battery didnt fix it. They said it would be a 75 dollar fix if I turned in the part thats faulty. The customer service dept is rude as well.

Traxxas is gready…

Traxxas is an example of a gready manufacture. I have placed many orders with them and now all of my orders this week have been cancelled with no reason.
I hope that hobby shops stop carrying your products cause I know you don't care about me as a buyer and them as a seller

I know my opinion doesn’t matter but I bought a trx 6 months ago probaly even longer and my body was damaged and half the paint was off of it and I keep being told no one can help me from the moment I bought it so a couple things broke on it like they should ( that’s fine ) it’s fixable but a damn body wasn’t my fault told I’d be taken care of haven’t been and been dicked around trx the slash and maxxx all going in the trash I’m out of the hobby lost all interest and respect for Traxxas always made my buddies get one unfortunately not again hope they enjoyed the money they got from me because that’s the last thing they’re getting. But hope everyone has better luck.

Brand new e revo 2.0

Brand new e revo 2.0. Defective from the start. Asked for a replacement revo but traxxas refused and to send the car in for repair. Traxxas claimed they fixed it and I told them I wanted a new revo so I don’t have to deal with a defective vehicle. Next run, motor seizes. WTH traxxas. Ran the car a total of 5 minutes. The things been broken since I got it. They still refuse to replace car and said it’s unusual to see a motor seize so quick. Garbage. Rude customer service. Replace my e revo 2.0 like I said from the start if you still want my business.

After 8 plus years of buying from…

After 8 plus years of buying from Traxxas and millions of dollars spent on there products and endless promotions of there products I got tired of their favoritisms to other companies. Mitch Rhoades doesn't belong in the sales management. He is a childish, petty man that looks good on the surface but is inhumane in his actions and should not be trusted for any reason. He will lie to make himself look good and I can't imagine a good CEO even having him for an employee. This is a warning to all hobby shops that buy from Traxxas, I can take care of myself but the poor guy who depends on supplies from Traxxas beware. Nothing American about them even though the do have a good bashing product. My hats off to the engineers and my head bowed with prayers for employees here and in Tiawan.

so I purchased a new stampede 4x4…

so I purchased a new stampede 4x4 brushed end of Feb. and when i opened box, oil was all over the bag truck was wrapped in due to a shock cap being off, not a great 1st impression. Ran good once fixed until after 5 short runs, when the receiver went out. Traxxas sent a new one that I could install, did that, another few runs, out again, another new one sent. It is now a little over 3 months old, and once again, the receiver is making me have to bind to the transmitter every time I want to run the truck. I just bought a TRX4-Sport 2 and a half weeks ago, it has the same receiver as the stampede. I have 2 runs at maybe 25 minutes tops, and the receiver is doing the same thing !! Making me have to bind to my transmitter every time I want to use it. I have called their cust. service numerous times, and its a toss-up whether you get polite or arrogant, or downright rude. I always heard good things about the company, but I have lost confidence in their crappy Chinese electronics. For the money they charge for their trucks, I would expect more/longer reliability than this. Especially when I am not a basher. Just run for enjoyment.

HORRIBLE company do to business with

Do NOT buy XMAXX 8s if you want Green. They do not know if they will ever be able to offer replacement shells again, and apparently it is impossible to be connected to anyone other then their frontline customer service who actually knows what is going on with the company. I bought my XMAXX 8s just over a month ago. First 15 minutes driving it around my yard (no jumping or rough housing) it blew 2 tires and the weak plastic servo it came with for $985 was completely stripped. But the good news is they sell a metal one for an extra $120! (sarcasm).
I just recently cracked my plastic shell (green in color) and they are telling me they do not offer it any longer, and don't know if they ever will again. It is literally impossible for them to to say yes or no on if they will ever offer it again, which means me (and potentially you if you buy this) will have a weird looking truck eventually.

TRAXXAS JATO 3.3 JUNK

I bought the traxxas jato 3.3 two months ago. I have had nothing but problems with it!!! The gears in the transmission have striped out already, I've had to replace the receiver, battery pack, and steering servo 5x (and need another one now)!!!! I spent $450 for this car and have almost that much again in parts trying to fix it!!!! For being two months old and never wrecked I thinks that's a little ridiculous almost $1000 cost for an rc car that I can't even drive!!!! The parts for it are hard to find with little or no kind of upgrade parts available!!! I'm trying to have traxxas warranty in now but they have not so far!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE OVER PRICED PLASTIC PILES OF S@#T !!!!!!

Horible customer support

Called traxxas support with an issue about my ESC.
The guy helping me was named Corey, he told me to
hold down my ez set button so i asked if that was the set button on the transmitter, he raised his voice and
said,NO NOT THE SET BUTTON THE EZ SET BUTTON ON THE ESC. Very unprofessional and very impatient, while trying to do his instructions for reset he got sick of waiting for me and hung up. Thank you traxxas for lying about your so called great customer service... Will not be purchasing from them again.

I bought a new traxxas e revo on…

I bought a new traxxas e revo on 4-3-2021 When I ran the revo I noticed the right front tire was out of round. Called the hobby shop they told me the foam in the tire must have shifted and push on the tire to move the foam and run it and that should solve my problem. It didn't work. Called traxxas they told me they don't warranty tires. Must be nice to not have to warranty a part of the revo and make it the customer's problem.

What an amount of hate against…

What an amount of hate against Traxxas??
I have a Maxx and a Stampede and enjoy them a lot. Sure, when i drive like a total idiot stuff breaks. That is totally on myself and my driving style. They produce one of the toughest rc (Maxx), which is a quality product.
If you get into rc you will replace parts and do maintenance. I believe 80% of the people here did not know or realise what having rc hobby really means.
Bye
