TR Davies Reviews

We instructed T R Davies after being recommended to use Tim, by friends and our estate agents. We instructed them to carry out a level 3 survey on a property we are buying. The survey was arranged quickly and carried out efficiently. Tim has also been great at giving advice and answering questions. Great service highly recommend :) Aly & Dave

Used T R Davies for the purchase of a property within Vale of Glamorgan and was a very good experience with a thorough inspection and report provided. Would highly recommend.

I approached Tim Davies for some professional guidance at short notice. He was very approachable and generous with his time, offering useful practical advice on procedural matters. His team was equally helpful and prompt in providing relevant information and documents, which I found very useful. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to support a fellow expert witness. Thank you, Tim and Tracy.

Excellent surveyor – thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring

I used T. R. Davies in connection with the purchase of a property and was extremely impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness.

He took the time to properly understand the property and the areas I was concerned about, and explained his findings clearly and in a very practical way. I particularly appreciated that he was happy to discuss questions in detail and provide sensible advice without making the process unnecessarily complicated.

He was also approachable, responsive and clearly took pride in doing a good job.

I would have no hesitation in recommending T. R. Davies to anyone looking for a thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy surveyor. I have used him twice for this very reason.

Excellent service from Tim & Tracey from start to finish. I was quickly given a convenient appointment date & time. The detailed report was easy to understand, complete with photos & was followed by excellent after-sales support.

Exceptional service from a thorough and experienced surveyor. Highly recommended.

I recently commissioned a full survey on a property I hope to buy. The survey was completed promptly and the report was thorough and well presented. I had a couple of queries which were answered promptly and put my mind at rest.
I was very satisfied with the report and the overall service provided.

Excellent service from start to finish. The surveyor was professional, thorough, and clearly knowledgeable when inspecting the property for spray foam. The report was very detailed and comprehensive, explaining the findings clearly and providing all the information we needed. I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing a professional spray foam inspection.Highly recommend

Tim was recommended to me by a friend and he certainly delivered. He conducted a buildings survey on an investment property I was buying and provided an accurate account of the condition of the property and its value. It resulted in me being able to renegotiate a reduced purchase price from the overinflated price agreed previously. More to spend on the refurb now! The report was thorough, evidence based and provided excellent advice on the upcoming refurb and potential value of the property once finished. It gave me heightened confidence to continue with the project and I’ll certainly be using him again. Thanks Tim.

I was introduced to Tim by the BBC while dealing with a long-running and extremely stressful building dispute. Although I did not ultimately instruct him to undertake a formal survey, Tim was incredibly generous with his time, knowledge and advice throughout.
He took the time to review my situation, explain the issues clearly and provide practical, honest guidance with no pressure or obligation. His professionalism, expertise and straightforward approach gave me confidence at a time when I felt overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward.
What stood out most was that Tim genuinely cared about helping. His advice has been invaluable and has played an important part in helping me make informed decisions regarding my project.
I would not hesitate to recommend Tim to anyone needing expert advice on building disputes, construction issues or surveying matters.
Thank you, Tim, for your support, patience and kindness during what has been a very difficult time.

Our experience working with Tim just bought calm to our crisis which we are currently experiencing. Tim greeted us with his Time , thoroughness , subject knowledge and support which has made us feel comfortable and relaxed from the start . Tim’s professionalism , conduct and knowledge is second to none and gave us complete confidence in the challenges that lay ahead . Tim is A true Gentleman and I can only recommend him in the highest order to any future clients . We would like to say a massive thank you to Tim for making a very stressful time in our lives suddenly less challenging.

We used Tim following recommendations by a family friend. Tim was prompt, communication was great, and he was very approachable. The information we were given from the survey and the photographs have been invaluable. I would definitely recommend using his services.

We had an excellent experience with T R Davies from start to finish. The team were extremely responsive to requests and setting out what information was required to get the Level 2 survey we requested organised. Tim who carried out the survey was extremely friendly and knowledgable and we were super impressed to get the report almost within 24hours of him carrying out the survey!

Would highly recommend.

I had a Level 2 Home Survey carried out before purchasing my property and was very pleased with the service throughout.

The survey itself was clear, detailed and easy to understand, with plenty of photographs to support the findings. It gave me a good understanding of the property’s condition and helped me plan for future maintenance.

What has impressed me most, though, is the aftercare. Even months after the survey was completed and after I’d moved into the property, I contacted Tim & Tracy with a few follow-up questions about items in the report. They were more than happy to help, answering my questions promptly and providing further guidance based on the original survey and photographs.

It’s reassuring to know that the service didn’t end once the report was delivered. That level of ongoing support has been greatly appreciated, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and helpful surveying service.

We had an excellent experience with TRDavies - he provided a Level 3 Building Survey prior to us buying our property. Emails were answered quickly and the report delivered in a timely manner and was very thorough.
Would recommend and use again.

A real professional who helped me through a difficult time dealing with all the ID checks and AML requirements when purchasing a property. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him … a real diamond in his profession.

Excellent Service and quality Building Survey. Very professional and knowledgeable. I had a Level 3 Building Survey carried out and was provided with a very detailed survey, including drone external photograph of the building and roof. Very good value for money, I can definitely recommend Tim and Tracy for their professional and friendly service. Thank you.

TR Davies are a fantastic company - we used them for a level 3 full building survey of the property we are purchasing.

I met Tim when he carried out a Buyer's Survey on my house, which I was in the process of selling.
I was impressed with his efficiency and thoroughness, so engaged him to conduct a similar survey on the property I intend purchasing.
He acted promptly and his report was detailed, covering every facet of the property, both externally and internally. His recommendations were transmitted to my solicitors, and I fully expect them to follow Tim's comments, which should make my purchase smoother and trouble-free.
Highly recommended.
