I particularly enjoy reading the reviews as most of the time it is quite reliable. I do think it also depends on where a person lives and their own standards.
I like to see when someone makes a review on how many hotels etc they have reviewed because if I see they are mostly positive then there more apt to being fair.
Some are negative and will never be pleased.
I have done many reviews all over the world in fact many I haven’t done as I did not have time.
I try to be fair and open minded of the culture and locals. Plus I think if a person tries to get an all-inclusive cheap and then complains, shame on them .
I always believe if your a happy person and treat people with respect it all comes back.

Your site offers the chance to report on visits without pressure. It also lets you see other people's views and experiences, which is most helpful.

I find Tripadvisor extremely useful and beneficial. On one hand you share your experience so people pay attention and benefit from it and at the same time help you choose places to go to and in particular restaurants. I use it often especially in cities and towns not familiar with or have no friends to consult with and I use it often to express my experience and appreciate good places with good food and in certain instances warn others from bad places

I find trip advisor helpful when traveling mainly because of the reviews. And for the past several years I use it exclusively to find attractions, hotels and eateries.
It is just easier than tourist information sites and books. I find it very reliable. So far I have never been disappointed

In today's world of fake news opinions Blogs and videos,its refreshing to have an excellent cornucopia of things to do while vacationing through the eyes of Trip Adviser. One can rely on the feed back and the authentic reviews from visitors who provided adequate feed back of their experiences which can make your next trip a more pleasant one.

TripAdvisor is a great place to ask questions and find answers for all your travel needs. You get up to date photos from travellers so your not left scratching your head once you arrive at your destination.

It is a very honest site. Everybody describe their own experience and based on that I can make easy decisions ; if it is what I am interested in.
I have used the site in Europe and North America and the reviews has been very accurate.
Based on that information, I am able to plan my trip ; not wasting money and time in entertainment, restaurants or sightseeing that I am not interested. I took an organized tour and I decided to arrive five days early to explore the city. I saw more using this site that taking the recommended options offered by the tour.

I've taken to writing reviews on Tripadvisor simply because it provides a convenient medium to share my experiences with restaurants, hotels, sights. I've had good and bad experiences and when I can share a good experience, I will... mostly because in that case, I think the restaurant, the server, or hotel deserves that feedback. I really only post negative feedback if the experience was really bad... Tripadvisor allows me to do that and I appreciate it!
