DO NOT BUY!!

This company had multiple excuses for why the Air Hockey Table I purchased couldn't be delivered. Each time the expected delivery date arrived, so did a new reason for the delay.
When I cancelled the order and requested a refund, they refused. Eventually, they told me they would give me a refund ($610), but I still don't have it.

I have notified ACCC and Consumer and Business Services.

Do not buy from this company - despite them selling products through Harvey Norman, having an ABN and having a visible sign at their street address on google maps, they are scammers - STAY AWAY!!

Bought the pool table with table tennis top. Both sides of the table tennis were badly damaged. When you eventually get to contact them, they tell me that they'll check the warehouse for a replacement. Since then have not been able to communicate.

So initial dealings were good (which is why it's 2 star not 1) as we ordered an electronic scooter and it arrived within 8 weeks as promised. Packaging was good and no issues - until about a month later when the steering locked. It's a brand scooter so not their brand but my issues have started since I took it back to Mulgrave to get it repaired under warranty and since then, I cannot get onto them (tried every day for weeks and left messages but not one was returned), tried email - never heard back. I went into the store again (about an hours derive away) and when I did their weekend staff couldn't help as they can't do repairs and showed me where it was in the list. Managed to get someone a month later and it was still in a list and no progress, and they said they would escalate but still nothing. Tempted to go and demand broken scooter back as by the sound of it, refunds aren't easy to get either. Promote themselves as great customer service but it's far from it.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM SITE. FALSE MISLEADING ADVERTS. AND BEFORE YOU TRY THE GENERIC ‘we are sorry to hear blah blah please contact us blah blah.’ I HAVE MADE 15 REQUESTS FOR A REFUND AND THEY CONTINUE TO TRY TO DELAY AND CONTINUE THEIR SCAM BEHAVIOUR. HAVE BEEN TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND THE MEDIA IN THE HOPE NOBODY ELSE FALLS FOR THEIR SCAM

Just a bunch of thiefs. I am still waiting for my order to be delivered 6 months since the payment and 46 email enquiries and numerous calls. Stay away from them

URGENT THEFT WARNING

ABSOLUTELY the worst retail experience I have EVER been a part of.
They have effectively stolen my money (approx $650) for a Table Tennis table that cannot be delivered.
I have emailed, called, left messages only to be tole they are sorry for my experience and are looking into it.
This has now been going on for over 2 months

ACCC to be advised
Police to be advised
Department of Fair Trading to be advised

Paid for chairs. 6 months and they will not deliver. Helpless overseas call operators. Helpless emails. Scam!

I purchased an e-bike in January and was told it would arrive in 8 weeks. After many emails, I was given the runaround. They now no longer respond to any further emails. It's been 7 months, and still no e-bike and no refund. I think this is a scam website. I'm lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. So be careful if you want to deal with this company.

I just opened a charge back case against this fraudulent group of companies. They are not just operating under 1 name but many. Here is the list i could gather so everyone is aware;

T& R Sports, Sports Leisure, DMA online, officesplace

And yes, there positive reviews are all fake. Just look at the names, the reviewers and the number of reviews they have. The paid reviews are an obvious cover up for their absolutely disgusting customer service and products. I wouldn't be surprised if they declare bankruptcy soon.

Anyway, they sent me the wrong color 12 hole cue holder. They did this on purpose to make things worse. Their sinister motives were revealed to me when they kept offering me 5 percent then 10 percent discounts and then stopped responding altogether when i asked for their return address so i can post the holder out to them.

The bank can deal with these crooks now

Absolute scam! I purchased a brand new, $2k, large, pre-order item that was supposed to take 10 weeks. It was delivered a few days later. Their delivery driver drove where I asked them not to, getting bogged and causing damage to my property. The item was delivered with an open box, missing pieces and a major fault, it was clearly a return. I've spent five months dealing with T&R's attempts to do everything but refund/replace. They sent two of their "repairmen" out who determined a full replacement was required and the best they have offered is that I return their (broken-on arrival) item (this item needs a truck) and they will refund minus a 20% restocking fee. Based on reviews, there appears to be many Fair-Trading complaints. Hopefully these scumbags get shut down soon.

Terrible customer service with misleading product advertisement. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They say they will refund your product if there is an issue with it, but they drag the whole process for weeks before completely ignoring you. And the product is defective...

TR Sports should be avoided at all costs. If you read any five star reviews of them, you should ignore them. One of them was from me. When I ordered a pool table from them (still not received, despite ordering it months ago), I was asked to immediately post a 5-star review, in front of the sales person, in order to get an additional year of warranty. What a mistake. You don't need a warranty on a product that you never actually receive. I emailed the company to let them know that I no longer required the pool table to be delivered upstairs, and they responded by saying that they would refund me the $500 upstairs delivery fee. That was five weeks ago, and still no sign of the refund. The pool table was an 18th birthday present for my son. He was looking forward to having some friends round on his birthday, and playing a few games. Maybe he will be able to do that for his 19th birthday instead, as his birthday was three weeks ago. Pool table finally arrived. Refund still has not.

This company is totally fraud. They will show nice products online but will send products different than what displayed with missing and damaged items. I have ordered lounge and bunk bed. Lounge delivered after 4 months in dirty, moldy and smelly condition with lots of missing parts. Bunk bed delivered to me after 4 months with lot of damages and missing mattresses. Don't waste time and money ordering anything on their wesbite. It is just a scam and fraud company.

I made a spontaneous purchase here without researching beforehand, and after placing my order, I felt uneasy and decided to investigate further as the price I paid seemed too good to be true. Doing that AFTER I spent the money was stupid, I know lol. As you've likely seen, the online reviews were overwhelmingly negative. After seeing all the negative reviews, I was almost sure my product wasn't gonna come which bummed me out as it was an anniversary gift for my partner. However, my products miraculously arrived on a Saturday evening, which surprised me greatly given the circumstances. They didn't follow through on their promise to call before delivery, but fortunately, someone was home to receive the package. Overall, I'm satisfied with the products; they were incredibly inexpensive and seem to be of decent quality. Getting 80kg of weights for $80 feels like a steal! It also only took about 2 weeks to receive the products which fell in line with how long they told me it would take to receive the products.

Despite initial concerns about communication based on reviews, my experience turned out to be quite positive. After emailing them on a Saturday, I received a reply on Monday. Before the email back, I decided to call them. While I couldn't reach them by phone initially which made me even more nervous, they pleasantly surprised me by returning my call within a few hours, even without a voicemail from me. Their assistance throughout the transaction was really helpful, despite the negative feedback often seen in their reviews.

I'm probably just lucky, so take my review with a grain of salt and be careful while shopping online! Always use reliable payment methods like PayPal just in case of a scam!

And I also want to add; no i was not paid to do this review and no I am not friends or affiliated with anyone at T&R sports. I'm simply writing this review to help others with their decisions or to help ease people's minds in case they did the same thing that I did! 🫶

This company simply should be shut down. Nothing more than cheap Chinese rubbish products. They are fraudsters selling you what you want at an affordable price, who take your money and ghost you. The Manager of this company couldn’t manage his way out of a wet paper bag and the female manager is nothing more than an aggressive, over-talking liar. The worst customer service and the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Communication is shocking and they simply just don’t care. Waiting on my copy paste response saying how much they understand etc.
If I could give zero stars I would! Don’t make the same mistake I did. Absolute nightmare! Report to department of fair trading 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I purchase an outdoor ping pong table Dec 2023. It took 2 months to arrive (the promise was 1-3 weeks). When it arrived it was broken beyond repair. They took it back and still have not delivered a new table or refunded our money. This was 6 months ago. They have been emailing me the whole time asking 'humbly for a few more weeks' and apologising - basically just copy and paste emails with no concrete information. I noticed on this review site the company regularly replies asking you to contact customer service - don't bother they will just give you the runaround. I have been sending an email every week, sometimes two and they have done nothing. It is now nearly the end of May 2024 and I don't have a table. I have reported them to the ACCC and suggest anyone who has had a similar experiece should too so they cannot operate in Australia anymore.

We paid for a bike THREE months ago, and have had to make dozens of calls and sent emails chasing up this order. Finally, they informed us that the bike is out of stock so we could request for a refund.
How does a company allow customers to order out of stock items? AND hold our money for THREE MONTHS??.
My son went to the Mulgrave store yesterday, and got an alternatve bike, which cost less than what we paid for the original bike.
NO refund was given for the balance, NO paperwork, and no email or communication to inform us what is happening regarding the refund
Try calling them. You will be on hold for a long time, and will be asked to leave a message and someone will call back.
Nobody calls back! I have left 2 messages today asking for a call back and asking for details on refund owing.
Its a nightmare dealing with these people, I would never purchase anything from them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DODGY/FRAUD COMPANY. You will be waiting for months and months to receive your order and no one would listen at their end. And then finally you will have to rely on your payment method for a refund that can again months as this fraud seller will aim to provide bogus tracking numbers just to buy more time. These overseas scums are filthy in terms of exploiting Australian buyers.

Scam company, have products listed as much better items, what you’ll receive is a used damaged item nothing like what was described or pictured in the listing. Their “customer service” will palm these issues off daily to someone “higher up” and no issues will be resolved. They also fake tracking details so you can’t easily get refunded through PayPal, AfterPay etc

WARNING THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY.

They sell you broken products. They lie repeatedly to you. They tell you to wait 5 hours for deliveries which never arrive. They promise to refund and never do.
