Scammers Home
I have reporter Phishing scam emails to Tucows 4 times now, and they have taken no action. They are happy to have scammers proliferate on their platform with zero accountability. Don't use them for any legitimate business as no doubt you will be blacklisted instantly by any self respecting mail service.
I contacted Tuscows to inform them of…
I contacted Tuscows to inform them of my domain which was stolen and placed with their company. They brushed it off, told me it’s nothing that could do and to contact ICANN. I told them poor response when proof was provided of whom purchased the domain.
I informed them the next step given they would like to aid and abet criminals is to contact the BBB. Litigation next for damages. Given they would like to house stolen domains, you have to add them to the same pot as a criminal as well.
Tucows is aiding and abetting criminals with thier service
Tucows is a web host domain site that allows criminals to use thier services, after 3 complaints to Tucows they have not responded to me, it is quite evident that thier silence is acquiescence, fraud, and guilt !! this Tucows is letting slushpush.com use thier web host to ripp-off and scam people !!! I have complained to numerous agencies already reporting this cryptocurrency scammer and hope to get them shut down, Tucows is aiding and abetting this criminal website willingly !!!! and I will keep posting complaints until i get results, this "SlushPush" mining website is clearly a CRIMINAL SCAM !!. Tucows claims they only provide registration,,,,, well then why dont they remove the registration after knowing about this website being a scammer? are they being paid off ? or is thier website ? what the fuc are they hiding >? Certainly they should investigate criminals that are "registered" on thier service. theres a certain link with info shows slushpush is registered in new york and not ontario, so that doesnt make any sence either
what a big shiet company
My friends account just got hacked by web provided by this shiet company. When i report to them, they never message me back lol. The web i mentioned above is fplgaming(.)com, be carefull guys
Supporting criminals
Supporting criminals. Each and every worker at Tucows should go end themselves, or find a work that is not supporting criminals.
tucows is favoring HIJACKERS!
tucows is favoring hijackers!! Criminals hijacking domain names and register them in tucows, and tucows refuse to provide real domain name owners with information replying that they are not Judges. Shame on you tucows, and yes I don't capitalize name of the company who has no respect for customers.
Tucows has kept my domain and says I can buy it back later
Tucows has kept my domain, after Shopify shut down my store I was still in the process of building. I cannot get back my domain name. I bought it through Shopify but now know it is Tucows that owns it. They say I can buy it back at the end of the year of registration but I am wondering, is this a high value domain? Did Shopify shut me down to steal my domain? They are horrible. DO NOT buy from them and stay away from Shopify e-commerce! I am consulting a lawyer.
Absolutely stay away from this terrible…
Absolutely stay away from this terrible useless company who ignores multiple requests from my domain host to enable me to transfer my domain away from Tucows. They are crooks! No customer service. No way to contact them. They take your money and you have no control over your own domain. They should be put out of business.
These gangsters have used my domain
These gangsters have used my domain for their bad business. Be careful as soon they have your details they are trying to get hold of your domain. Stay away from them, they are crooks.
Bad customer service!!!! Terrible customer service
Bad customer service - been trying for 10 days to buy a code signing certificate and have errors on order page and NO support available and no way to contact except thru email and they only responded once that it should be working - tried 3 computers, two browsers and always get errors
Excellent
I wouldn't been able to save my data without their hosted old demo version of a certain tool.
Host of racist web site
They also host the racist, neo-Nazi web site tightroperecords dot com..
Home of 8Chan
Home of 8Chan, favorite of racists, misogynists and killers. DELETE, DELETE, DELETE. Don't go to websites hosted by these goons. Use a RESPONSIBLE service provider. And Tucows? Your name is becoming synonymous with 8chan. Happy?
Doesn't seem concerned that mass…
Doesn't seem concerned that mass shooters (i.e. worthless trash scum) like to use a platform that the company hosts in order to radicalize each other. Let's hope they change their tune.
Avenue for scammers, or scammers themselves?!?!? FEDERAL OFFENSE!
I have contacted them many times (and Godaddy) about people creating domain names closely related to my company domain name. These people are contacting companies trying to open a credit account in our name and buy from them. They are also sending our customers new direct deposit information trying to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars via ACH deposits. It has worked once already. The Secret Service is investigating. Godaddy would not suspend or delete the fraudulent domain unless told to do so by the authorities and Tucows said they would but I haven't seen it happen yet. It also looks to me like the person/people creating the fraudulent domains are coming from inside Tucows itself!!
STAY AWAY!
If I could give no stars I would.
Tucows is another one of these companies who hide behind the web while putting their resellers in the front.
This company is a joke. Support is nonexistent. They do not want to talk to you.
I called their number 416-538-5450 only to get a dead line.
CIRA needs to investigate Tucows and hopefully pull their license.
I will be putting this review on every review site I can find.
Buyers and Bidders Beware!
Buyers and Bidders Beware!
I bid and won an auction for an expired domain. I won the auction after a fierce bidding war, paid for it (substantial amount) paid the auction fee and have emails showing that it was won and purchased by me through Godaddy auction site.
Then, I invested and paid $1800 for a designer and developer to start working on the domain site and branding days after after I won and paid for the auction. I had won the auction fairly so started working on my site and branding.
Suddenly Tucows ( a partner of GoDaddy) decided to forfeit on the binding bid. They cancelled the transaction and nullified my binding win for the expired domain. It was a good domain so they changed their mind and added it back to their investment list. I have never heard of an auction being reversed. A winning bid is a winning bid. Otherwise, what is the point?
The domain which I won in a fair and ethical way is now owned by Tucows again and they are selling it again. I lost time bidding, and investing $1800 for work on a project that cannot happen.
I LOST TIME and MONEY and trust in Tucows, what happened is unethical.
What else it Tucows up to? What other scams are they running?
Terrible company, borderline scammers.
Terrible company, they refuse to allow transfers for individuals so you can wrestle your domain back from companies that registered in your name or companies that went under, and they refer you back to this company that used their services to register. They have no phone number of means by which to contact them. If you call their 1-800 number it tells you to refer back to the company that used Tucows to register. Avoid anyone that uses Tucows like the plague!
Death and Taxes!
Not good at all. Can't get hold of them for a transfer, this has been going on for 2/3 months! Once you are in, its like -Death and Taxes!'
Fraudulent Charges
Just charged me money via PayPal and can’t tell me what for. I asked them to either explain the bill or refund me. That was a week ago, and all I got was a customer satisfaction survey. Shady business.
