NEW FRONT DOOR

USED THIS COMPANY FOR THE FIRST TIME. WE WANTED A NEW FRONT DOOR. THEY CAME OUT, SORTED WHAT WE WANTED, A SURVEYOR CAME OUT TO DO ALL THE MEASUREMENTS, THEN ON THE DAY ARRANGED A FITTER (VALDI) ARRIVED, AND COMPLETED THE JOB. HE WAS VERY GOOD, AND BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

worse window company

worse window company i have ever dealt with, shoddy workmanship, which took me many phone calls to get sorted, Paid £1500.00 for a canopy which took 3 months to fit and then it wasnt what i ordered, I could of bought from Amazon for £80.00, now been waiting 3 months for my contract, all i can say is that i'm glad i did this on finance and they are dealing with everything as they wont get paid

They talked the talk but delivered a disappointing service

We had been looking for someone to build a small porch on our house for some time and after a few no shows and no one interested we gave up. TWC were doing some work in the area and after cold calling came to give us a quote. It was quite pricey but as they promised all their work was “bespoke” we thought that would be why.
They promised communication was really good with all the tradesmen on their books but that’s not what we experienced. Firstly the builders turned up and weren’t sure what they were doing, footings were needed but we had been told they weren’t, after a 2 day delay they got on to the brickwork. This was to be single skinned and finished inside to a good standard all we would need to do was paint the inside – well that didn’t happen as they finished it as if it was being double bricked– so very rough finish inside with sharp brick edges and cement sticking out.
Then the roof came to be fitted and it was at the wrong pitch, batons were the wrong size and just completely awful. In the end the roof had to be taken down and the brickwork taken down a few levels and re-done.
There were a lot of different people doing different bits of the job and no-one seemed to be talking to each other even though we were assured that communication is good with the tradesmen. It would have been so much easier to get one person to do the whole porch but that’s not how TWC work.
As a goodwill gesture and to try and make up for the many mistakes, Andy said he would plaster inside and put lighting in which he did, but that wasn’t straight forward either as the inside needed to be battened and in doing so the wrong screws were used which blew several of the newly laid bricks on the outside. The plastering finish was also rough and one of the edging strips was left very sharp and we could have cut ourselves on it. The plaster did not go to the floor as we understand skirting board usually covers that but they said that they did not do skirting board so we had to buy that ourselves.
We finally have a porch but the whole process was very stressful and we won’t want to go through that again. We definitely would not recommend using TWC, although the door and window seem to be of good quality the fitting of them was not.

Disgusted!

Absolutely shocking company! My mother called these guys in to have the roof of her conservatory fixed after they had installed a faulty roof! A year later and they still haven’t fixed or given any compensation!

Even after talking to the same person on the phone countless times apparently no record has been made of anything.

Absolutely disgusted with how my mum has been treated after paying over £10000!
As well as damage to her property due to water damage where it has leaked. Also a chest of drawers that was meant to be a present was damaged. Pictures have been sent but still no compensation!

They should specialise in unwanted water features rather than windows and conservatories
