I completely agree with another 1 star review from Lucy. I received the dandelions as a birthday present and the quality is so shockingly bad I had to tell the person who bought them as I feel so bad that they wasted A LOT of money on them and should try and get a full refund. That was awkward to say the least. They look absolutely nothing like the photo on the website, which has perfectly formed dandelions with lights at the end of each clock. This is totally inaccurate as they are all misshaped and just have a small clump of lights in the centre. They also moult a lot when touched and the plastic stalks are bent and can’t be straightened or are just a clump of thick plastic. I simply don’t believe they’ve only had 5 star reviews as the website suggests - impossible!

Terrible experience
I recently purchased the Blissful Bright Dandelions light fitting from TwinklingTree. The product arrived damaged and bent out of shape with torn rubber, and was materially different from the advertised photos — the LEDs are positioned at the centre of the seedhead, not at the tips of each strand as clearly shown in the product images, and the two seedheads were made from visibly mismatched rubber of different colours, making the product unusable.
When I raised this, TwinklingTree offered store credit, a 50% partial refund, or a full refund only if I paid international return shipping to Australia at my own cost — a sum likely to exceed the value of the item. When I pointed out that under UK consumer law the seller is responsible for return costs where goods are not as described, they cited their own internal refund policy and suggested I use a hairdryer to fix the damaged item. They have declined to provide a prepaid return label or a full refund. I have now raised a chargeback with my bank and filed a report with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Appalling product quality; relying on uk customers not realising that its not the consumers responsibility to ship laughably crap goods back to australia for a refund!
When the product arrived it was nothing like the picture - a completely different design that was laughably inferior, as if a child made it. I wish I was joking. It bite no resemblance to the pictures whatsoever and it was also broken. Taking into account the ‘look what I made with pipe cleaners’ quality, this isn’t a surprise. I was amazed to get a response form the company acknowledging what my photos showed as a cleardogference in product quality and they offered to give me either 1) 110% store credit and I get to keep the lamp or gift it (laughing as I wrote this - imagine gifting a broken wobbly thing); 2) 50% refund and Iget to keep (lucky me)- this is where their business model became clear: this cost them no where near what I paid for it so they make plenty even if everyone asks for 50% back; or 3) full refund but I pay to send it back to Australia - this would cost me money and they know most people won’t do this. Absolute scam. I will not accept any of these because consumer rights in the uk say that if I buy something from a company targetinguk consumers then Iam entitled to refund and if they want it back they have to pay. It’s also against Australian consumer law that they don’t sell things that are not appropriately described. In either country, this is very scammy behaviour.

Cost of return of faulty item was more than it cost!!!!
I ordered the yellow light up tulips. Took nearly a month to arrive. When I put the batteries in they didn't work so messaged the site twice. Got a response on putting a claim through paypal. The response was they'd be happy to refund upon return (through paypal) and I got a lovely email asking if I could sena video/photo of the issue. I did so, no response. I then looked at returning the item for a refund, but as the return address is in Australia, it would have cost me more to return the package than the item cost. So, I stuck with a broken item that isn't particularly good quality and a loss of money. Needless to say, I will be making sure that if I buy anything online again that I'm not being scammed by having to send the item back abroad. Very dissappointed.

The pictures are deceptive
The pictures are deceptive. The "strands" of light are too flexible and don't stay stiff or straight. They really don't look like dandelions as shown in the pictures.

Shipping was slow, but, I didn't realize the items were coming from Australia. However, the online shipping ETA, was communicated well with customer service. For the price, I thought the hydragenas were on the smaller side. The pink hydragena's lights are not very bright, but, the blue hydragena's lighs are brighter.

Dandelion lights
Dandelion lights: I bought this as a gift but will be taking it to a charity shop.
- The two dandelion heads are different sizes and don't even match.
- The stems are fused so the dandelion heads can't be rearranged or combined with anything else; they are so close that both cannot be properly fluffed out.
- The firm is in Australia so Postage to return is expensive.
What a waste of money.

They don't match in size or wiring colour - nothing like the picture advertised on their site. One is a nice tight compact flower light and the other looks like it has been kicked around. Emailed the company 5 days ago, 3 days ago and today with no response to any of them. Complete rip off. Buy at your own risk and you'll be very lucky if you get a response let alone a refund.
