Bought a tempered glass screen protector for I phone in Bloomfield centre Bangor. Cracked within a day and phone was in protective case. Turns out wrong screen put on in first instance. Absolute scam.
I bought a USB c to lightning 3M cable for my daughter and after a few months the lightning end of the cable got very hot and the plastic casing melted, the cable still works but as you would expect I was scared to use it. I took it back and the guy in Abbeycenter told me it was because she had left the cable in the phone after it was fully charged so it melting was her fault, he went on to say that everyone knows you have to take the cable out when the phone is charged or the cable will melt. I told him I was relatively tech savy and had never heard that. He just said "I'm not lying mate" he plugged it in and it charged so he gave me it back and said there was nothing wrong with it but to unplug it when the phone was fully charged. Absolute nonsense and terrible customer care.
feel awful that I didn’t get the chap’s name but I came in initially with a battery issue on my daughter’s phone (Bangor store). The lovely bloke completely understood and rectified the issue - Snapchat was stealing all her battery and he was able to change settings to stop this from happening. I mentioned that I had recently upgraded my phone and that I was just going to swap cases. He was immediately able to point out that although they were the same size, buttons were different. As I was giving my old phone to my father to take on holiday the next day - thank goodness he did! I ended up leaving with two phone cases, two screen savers and two camera protectors and I could not have been happier with the quality and price of the products! So my thanks to your staff member for his knowledge, patience and perseverance through my limited knowledge of phones.
One star as there is no zero star! Customer service appalling. Bought a charging cable for iphone in Newry branch on route to airport to go to london where I live. Broke after about 2 weeks. Brought it back on my next trip 6 weeks later and they would not replace. Say it’s only guaranteed for 1month. This cannot be legal. Would never buy another thing from them. The manager of the shop was rude and unhelpful.
Just had my Google Pixel 6 screen fixed by Robert and couldn't have had a better experience. He explained everything and the service was super quick. I had rang to check if they had the screen in stock and it took less than 30 minutes for it to be fixed. Couldn't recommend this place more!
I've just been refused a replacement screen for one that failed under warranty. The 'Manager' at Buttercrane shopping Centre in Newry, cited scratches on the screen protector, as evidence it had been dropped. Had I been sneaky, I could have easily removed the screen protector prior to bringing this phone in for repair, but the truth of the matter is that these were minor hairline scratches on the screen protector, caused by contact with house keys.
The actual screen was not scratched or broken, neither had the phone been dropped.
Separately, I then requested a £100 refund for my son's phone, which I brought in recently also for a screen replacement. I had to pay this because I could not produce the original paper receipt (no email receipts are given here). However, I found the receipt today, evidence that the work I paid for, should have been covered under the warranty. This screen has lifted three times, proof that the standard of work here is very poor. This same 'Manager' first enquired whether it was paid for using cash or card (why is that relevant? does Uberfone not declare cash transactions? I'm sure the Inland Revenue would be interested in that). He then refused, citing that Uberfone don't do refunds on repairs. This was not a refund on a repair, this was money I was forced to pay, which I should never have had to pay.
Not only was this Manager barely able to make eye contact, because he had his face buried in a book, but his scruffy appearance (Adidas tracksuit), manner and customer service were appalling.
Looking at customer reviews here, nearly half of all customers are totally dissatisfied with Uberfone, which is shocking.
Bought two chargers, but it doesn't work anymore after two months. Very disappointed
Zero goodwill available from this company. Bought ear pods and returned 5 minutes later with the box unopened as had changed my mind! I was told in no uncertain terms that I would NOT be getting a refund and I could only be offered a credit note! I've given this company 1 x star ONLY because there is no option to give ZERO stars which is what's deserved!
Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful when I was picking out what I needed for my phone.
5 Star Customer Service . The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They resolved my issue quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Thanks Uberfone for going the extra mile for your customers
Had an issue with my iPhone XS Max which apparently wasn't covered by warranty according to apple who quoted me £195 for repair. I tried a couple of repair guys on Facebook who said they didn't have the capability to do the repair and then I was recommended UBERFONE. I booked in and had the phone repaired within 48 hours and even got a bit of discount on a new case and screen protector. Absolutely top class service and I couldn't recommend highly enough.
I had a good experience as the staff seemed to know their stuff.
Bought cases via there website online, came really quick , great quality and great price,
Thanks for fixing my screen so efficiently!! Great customer service all around.
Bought the Mezone Buds. Great set of buds for the price.
Cant thank them enough! Their repair service is fantastic, ive used them many times and the selection of accessories is the best out there! Keep up the good work and thank you!
Very pleased with service I received from these guys. Was left without a working phone as my network expected me to send it off to be be repaired which would take at least 10 working days.
Had work done and phone back in my hand within a couple of hours.
Very friendly staff in shop too.
Thank you kindly!
I feel sorry for the staff.
The LDNIO products in my case were not fit for purpose.
My experience makes me suspet staff are under pressure to meet targets.
There could be a lack of training too.
It wasn't until the point of purchase it became apparent the parts were not Huawei (for P10 phones ) as I'd asked for.
I was assured by the 'technician' * the items were equivalent - I did ask the question!
*think that was how she introduced herself as - however it was, she inferred expertise.
On the charger cable ; the connection felt it required to be 'forced in' to my phone to fit.
It didn't fit my hubbies Huawei P10 at all.
On the charger ; It took 1hr to gain a 20% charge - way slower than the original and yes the phone wasn't in use.
On the power bank ; I was advised it would give me two full charges - it gave just one.
I said I needed it for off-grid use.
On returning with my complaints the man said as far as he was concerned the goods were not faulty and referred to their returns policy notice, besides which i hadn't kept the 'packaging' and I didn't have a receipt .
a). 'Packaging' for each item was a plain clear plastic bag. No boxes or cardboard tabs so I didn't think to retain them.
b). As for the receipt, to that point we'd no conversation about it so how would he have known I hadn't one ?Unless they deliberately withhold them from customers.
I truely don't believe I was given a receipt.
I asked to talk to the manager.
Was told managers no longer in store.
I asked they be phoned.
Was told they're not available to phone.
I said the items were not fit for purpose and at the very least I was missold the items.
All he could offer was an exchange.
So I cut my losses and came away with a back-up pack that he assured me would give two charges.
He didn't give me a receipt for that now that I think about it !
It was valued £30.
I'd spent £37.47 originally.
He allowed me to keep the charger plug and two cables. Not sure what use if any they are to me.
I've since read LDNIO products have caused fires. So that's a worry.
