We are a family run business selling high quality made to measure window blinds and curtains in Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas. We offer a FREE local survey & fitting service and also sell to the whole of the UK from our secure online website. We are manufacturers, suppliers and installer of all types of window blinds and curtain. Most of our blinds come direct from our own factory. We are full active members of the British Blinds and shutters association and are bound by their code of practice. We strictly adhere to Child Safety Standards and a health and safety management system approved by Citation PLC.

You advised us after receiving your vertical blind that you were expecting it to have chainless bottom weights. You then advised us that you saw on your Google search that we do it as standard, which is not the case.
We do not advertise or state on our website that our vertical blinds come with chinless bottom weights. In fact we state that our vertical blinds come 'with' chains and weights, see page https://www.ucblinds.co.uk/choosing-your-made-to-measure-blinds/. If you have put into Google search “vertical blinds with chinless bottom weights” for example and our website or ad has appeared, that is Googles search algorithm? We are sorry this has occurred, and you are disappointed, but we still wanted to try and rectify it for you offering you free weights, free of charge if you paid the carriage charge of £9.95.

Good product
Good product. The only thing that could have improved the service would have been to give some estimate of the time it would take to complete the order.
As it was, I ordered and paid, but had no idea how long the whole process would take. Only info was days later when I heard the order was out for delivery.

I'm sorry you felt your were not kept informed. We do state on our website that delivery is currently 2/3 weeks, we are hoping to reduced this very soon. Once the item is collected and out for delivery you will have received an email informing you. We do hope your love your new blinds.

When things go wrong they put it right
The blind arrived with no dispatch email so it was a surprise when it came. There were not instructions in the box and we could not find any on the website. We fitted it with using YouTube videos which did not really apply to this blind then it was the wrong way round and when we tried to turn it it got stuck. We could not fault the customer service we received when we contacted the company. They apologised profusely for no instructions and asked for photos so they could assess the problem. It seemed like a part was broken and they sent a spare part and emailed fitting instructions. I would recommend this company they sent us a beautiful blind and when things went wrong they went out of their way to fix it.

Found this company after searching for a better price when I was a little shocked at the cost of others with bigger marketing. I got exactly the same material as the more expensive quote, and the delivery took about 12 days rather than 2-3, but I saved a chunk of money. Good quality too, so I would definitely use them again x
