Great interest rates paid out on savings accounts. Each time I have called customer service it has been very easy to get things done, and I can understand them. Two ACH transfers have went very smoothly and efficiently.
Everything is spot on what they offer .Awesome savings rate and even has a pretty good ach system. I really enjoy using the chat to ask questions and send messages, which ufb is quick to reply. Overall it is just what I was looking for

I removed money from this account when you lowered the interest rate for savings to 4.5%. Other banks are giving up to 5.25%
Depositing funds electronically from an outside bank account is SLOW. It usually takes 5 business days, during which the funds DISAPPEAR completely for about 3 days before showing up as a deposit into the UFB account. I have online bank accounts at Alliant, where transfers to/from my Wells Fargo account are OVERNIGHT. You need to use a more efficient transfer service. Wiring funds is expensive.
I deposited an amount in a UFB Savings account a few months ago that had a good rate, but just this week it dropped nearly 3/4's of a percent. I am feeling the initial rate was a teaser rate and not conducive to what the market bares.
First of all the lure was the interest rate and their customer support is eager to help. Then when the rates were still going higher and I wasn't receiving it so I called them and wait time was less than a 30 seconds. I was told the new rate is for a different named account and they would upgrade my account if I gave them my permission. It was that easy. Now every month I check their site and if necessary I make a quick 3 minute call.
Transferred money takes too long to show up unless wired

Though your customer service tries hard I do have some issues with your bank. First let’s talk likes, your interest rates are competitive. Unfortunately there are more dislikes #1you don’t automatically change your rates upwards when rates change. Though I’m sure you’ll move them downwards when required.#2 your schedule transfer option is complete garbage. The times lve used it , it never works and that leaves me in a financial bind, and no one can tell me why it’s not working. They tell me to send me a screenshot of the notice that you sent me? You sent me the notice! It should be in your records? #3 your bankers are very hard to understand when you call for information. Now that I’ve figured out how to work your system it’s fine, but improvements could be made

It's not yet been 6 months and this is my first experience with an online bank so I have nothing to compare it with. So far, my experience has been very good-excellent. It was relatively easy to open my account, maybe taking only minutes. My inquiries were addressed satisfactorily within 24-48 hours. They provided me with a debit card that allows for a maximum withdrawal of about $330 per day. The app has been fine. I have linked my checking and savings accounts from my brick and mortar bank and can deposit checks, schedule cash transfers, check my balances, select and receive alerts, find ATMs and download my monthly statements. The only drawback is that is takes 3-5 days to move cash either in or out. But in my case, that is more than offset by the 5% interest rate and a checking and savings account in a brick and mortar bank. So far, so good.

Website is easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because the interest rate is at 4.21% and has been there for months. One of my other accounts is 5.25%. I may have to move my money.

Never had any trouble to login and see account updates. So, never had an occasion (never needed) to contact the organization. All is well!!
I have been a UFB customer for about a year. Like all new experiences it takes a while to get used to. My experience has only been positive. When I have a question, I submit it online and get a reply anywhere from 30 mins to a few hours. The longest I waited for a response was a full day. I log into my account about every two weeks and have never had any surprises. I would recommend UFB to friends and family.
