I regret to say that my experience with UK Double Glazing Repairs Ltd has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. I engaged their services to address issues with two doors in a flat, but the outcome has left much to be desired.
Despite multiple attempts to communicate my concerns and the specific requirements, the company failed to deliver satisfactory results. Here are some key points to consider:
1. Poor Communication: Throughout the engagement, communication from the company was severely lacking. Calls and messages were consistently ignored.
2. Extended Resolution Time: It took an excessive six months from my initial request to resolve the issues and more then 6 cancelled visits, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my daily life.
3. Lack of Transparency: Despite repeated requests, the company failed to provide a clear and upfront price for the services rendered. This lack of transparency is concerning and indicative of their unprofessional conduct.
4. Pressure Tactics: During the service, I felt pressured and coerced into confirming payment after raising concerns about pricing. The engineers began disassembling the door just minutes before my scheduled meeting, leaving me with no viable option but to proceed with payment.
5. Unsatisfactory Workmanship: While the company claims to have completed the adjustments on both doors, the issues persisted. During the initial visit, engineers confirmed they would address the sealant issue for the door during the subsequent visit, but it didn't happen.
Given my experience, I strongly advise against using UK Double Glazing Repairs Ltd for any glazing repair needs. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and subpar workmanship make them an unreliable choice for consumers.
