Good experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the shipping expense. True, you can not get "uncommon goods" at Amazon, Wal-mart, or other websites but even at these other places... See more

Ultimate gift for a football FANATIC
I bought this Dallas Cowboys History book for my husband’s birthday, and it was an absolute hit! He’s a die-hard Cowboys fan, and this book brought back so many memories of his favorite games and players. The collection of New York Times articles makes it feel like you’re reliving each moment in real time, from the team’s early glory days to the most unforgettable wins.
The quality is beautiful, with elegant vegan-leather binding, crisp reprinted pages, and personalized embossing that made it feel extra special. He’s already shown it off to friends during Sunday football! It’s the perfect keepsake for any Cowboys fan who loves the history behind the team. Truly a one-of-a-kind gift that celebrates their passion for the game.
What I purchased was really unique
What I purchased was really unique and interesting that I thought a young musician might like for Christmas. He is tough to buy for and I know no one else will get this for him, so I am very pleased.

They auto signed me up for "Uncommon Goods Perks" and charted my card 16.43 cents without my knowledge. They're thieves, stay away.

“We have free trial and charge you if you don’t cancel” look at how many people on Trust Pilot have had this issue. I didn’t select any free trial and your site doesn’t have any free trial in my order history. I have no communications in my email. I had no warning that my card would be charged. I did not agree to be charged. You guys are thief’s hoping people don’t realize that you’ve signed them up for this. This behavior is indefensible.

Deceptive Product & Dismissive Customer…
Deceptive Product & Dismissive Customer Service – Do Not Recommend
I paid $250 for a personalized picture featuring 10 maps, and what I received was completely unacceptable. The maps are so small they’re nearly impossible to see—yet the company still offers this as a design option. When I reached out, I was told that “10 maps is too many” to display properly. If that’s the case, why offer it at all? That’s deceptive and misleading.
To make matters worse, there’s no preview feature, so customers have no way of knowing what the final product will look like before purchasing. That’s a glaring issue for a so-called "custom" item and shows a lack of transparency and quality control.
Customer service was dismissive and took no responsibility, which only added to the frustration. For the premium price, I expected a high-quality product and a company that stands behind its work. I received neither.
I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for misleading business practices, and I’ll be sharing this experience across multiple review platforms to warn other potential customers. This company does not value transparency, quality, or customer satisfaction.
Avoid and save your money.

TERRIBLE!!!
TERRIBLE!!!! Never buy from these people!!! They spammed me with marketing emails that I can NEVER get rid of no matter how many times I unsubscribe or email them for support. AND, they sign you up for a "PERKS" annual membership that they sneak in there somehow once you purchase 1 single item. They are AWFUL!!! Do NOT trust them!!

Incomplete Descriptions
I've purchased a few nice items from this site, but the last---Friendship lamps---was a disaster. You get the impression from the catalog description that you just plug them in and they work. Not true. What you are not told until you receive them is there's a 12-page user manual, you have to connect them to your mobile phone, you have to download an app, and you have to pay a monthly subscription charge.

Missing items in package
I placed two orders from them, the first one went great, but the second one was missing an item. It was obvious that the second item would be missing as the tracking link on the site would lead to a 404 and when it shipped, the email said that it shipped the order, but only showed one item.
Today I received the package and my suspicion was correct, in my order of two items, they only shipped one. They were unable to send a replacement either and could only offer a refund.
I'm not sure how their packaging/shipping system is set up, but for them to make such a simple mistake is baffling. They need to review it or their digital platform because it's prone to errors. Be cautious when placing an order with them, there's a high risk of not getting your order packed correctly.

My order was received at 10:50 PM
My order was received at 10:50 PM. UG says order can be received until 8PM. Customer service earlier in the day was supposed to call back to advise. Never received a call back. Shipping company doesn’t respond in a timely manner. My free delivery subscription end in a few months. After that I’m done with UG.

Empty promises
Ordered, supposed to be delivered, never delivered or even shipped. Date kept extending each day. Was supposed to be a Mother’s Day gift. Customer service apologized and asked if I wanted to re-order. Of course products are backorder at this point… Wouldn’t trust this company again. Ended up with nothing but a headache from Uncommongoods.

Price increases are insulting
I typically shop there about twice a year, but when I stopped by online today to find a Mother’s Day gift, I was stunned. The price hikes are beyond excessive—$30 for a ceramic coffee mug? That’s just insulting. If they don’t come back down to reality, I won’t be spending another dime there.

I’ve had nothing but wonderful…
I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with this website. The gifts that they offer are wonderful. I have plenty of people in my life that are hard to shop for and I always find something for them. Presents have arrived on time and are reasonably priced.

Items are not “handmade” or “unique”
Googled “sassy canisters” and found they’re mass produced in China, with tons of resellers on Etsy and Amazon and on Uncommon Goods! I thought Uncommon Goods actually sold artisan products, which justified the prices! People are paying $68 for the “artisan made” item on UC, but you can get the exact item for $20 on Amazon. I googled the “artisan” and found she advertises herself online as a photographer (possibly legit, although many of the photos she sells on canvas, etc seem likely to be licensed stock photos). Surely if she were a ceramicist whose design had been copied by Chinese factories she’d make that known? The name and person’s photos match, but the stories do not. I don’t blame anyone for making a buck reselling cute stuff from China, but I do blame Uncommon Goods for their deceptive and false representation of the items they sell. Won’t buy from them again, and will be sharing this information, especially with my sweet relative who does the majority of her gift shopping on the site. She will be embarrassed and horrified to learn she’s been lied to for years by Uncommon Goods.

Unhappy customer
The companies items are too expensive to come looking used and thrown back into the box. I purchased a spa robe set for over $100 for an employee and when it arrived the box looked as if someone had returned it previously with some of the items out of the original packaging. I tried to make it as neat as possible because unfortunately the company party was a few days away and there was no way to return it and get another. After speaking to customer service and just making them aware of the issue, they didn’t even offer a credit on a future purchase or even a partial refund.
