Very satisfied customer
We had our house carpeted and lino fitted throughout. Staff in the shop were very helpful and gave great advice. The carpet fitters were very quick considering it is a four bedroomed house and they were very tidy and very considerate. A day or two later we realising a little patch of carpet was missing from between the banisters and a chap came out and rectified it straight away. Would highly recommend United Carpets due to the quality of the carpets they sell and also the staff throughout the process. They also provide a range of finance options to suit your needs. Fantastic!

Good customer service
Good customer service, friendly shop staff. Arrived when said it would. Only issue I had which is not their fault is that my son couldn't actually sleep on the bed saying it was way too hard and uncomfortable. So in the end was a lot to pay out for a bed I couldn't use 😔

Disgusting service - steer clear!
Disgusting service! despite purchasing our LVT and agreeing to wait over 6 weeks for installation as it was ‘busy season’, fitter never attended, and was allegedly never booked! We are then left with a lounge with bare concrete floor. Offered date another 10 days later (after waiting over 6 weeks already) however fitter unhappy with price we had been given on invoice and required additional payment if the work was to be completed. Store offered zero in way of explanation or support on the matter. So waited 6 weeks, fitted did not attend when expected, offered a date much further in the future but demanding additional payment. When complaining to United HQ, they declined to ‘get involved’ and advised us to contact store directly who genuinely couldn’t care less about the appalling service they provided! We are 2 weeks down from the non attended fitting and no apology, response or remedy offered!

Great service yet again!!
Once again we returned to United Carpets after previously being very happy with the service we received on carpeting for several other rooms and, again, we were not disappointed.
From a great selection of wood flooring products we were able to choose a lovely warm wood finishing for our kitchen/dining room and when we had to delay the fitting due to an overrunning kitchen installation, this was no problem for Norman.
When we were ready for the flooring it was quickly organised and installed by very friendly and extremely helpful fitters who found nothing too much trouble - the finish was brilliant.
I can only give the highest recommendation to all involved from order to installation, and I know where to go when I need more flooring!!

Good service from the shop staff. Not so much, the fitters
I was really happy with the service within the shop, including the first initial appointment. Staff have always been friendly and very helpful.
What hasn't been so great has been the fitting. Despite being friendly and helpful, at times, walls and paint work were constantly scuffed, scratched and marked. I have a large crease in the vinyl flooring in the dinning room. The first fitters were extremely unhelpful, leaving a double bed to be put back together by myself. On asking for support, I was sternly told, that they expected all rooms to be clear of furniture, which is totally unrealistic!
Huge bags of excess carpet, underlay was left in the bedroom for me to take downstairs. It wasn't even placed outside!! Not impressed
