Simon the salesman was very helpful during our visit. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions, which made the process easier to understand. I also appreciated that he wasn't too pushy, so we didn't feel pressured into making a decision. However, the final part exchange offer was much lower than what had been discussed initially over the phone. It’s worth clarifying this early on to avoid surprises later.

So the car I bought was a Skoda Karoq
So the car I bought was a Skoda Karoq. I collected it paid, and team took care of the ownership and tax etc, all done within 40minutes. Very pleased with the car but within 4 miles of driving it home the engine temp warning came on ( the gauge was erratic too) I took the car back and they looked at it and claimed the coolent was low and the cap was loose. neither of which would point to an erratic temp gauge. Not convinced I insisted on running the car whilst at the premises until I was happy it was solved. Within 5 mins of running the fault re appeared. They apologised offered to have then car looked at and fixed during the coming week. In the end I decided to return the car which was a shame as I really liked it. Once I decided this They immediately agreed and to refund the money. In conclusion although I was disappointed about that car , they handled the situation very well and didnt quibble once I made up my mind. The experience wouldnt put me off buying another car from V12 (these things happen).

Very disappointed with V12.
Very disappointed with V12.
Bought an Audi Q4 on 19 July 2026. The SOS emergency fault appeared immediately and was reported to V12 just two days later.
Audi diagnosed B200049 – Internal Electric Malfunction and confirmed the control unit needs replacing at a cost of around £1,153.
Despite this, V12 has refused to cover the repair, leaving me extremely disappointed with their after-sales service.
I would think very carefully before buying a used car from V12
There have been no emails, phone calls or any attempt to contact me to review this issue again. So, despite what this response suggests, nothing has actually been done.
Simply saying that the matter has been “sent to the relevant team to be reassessed” is meaningless without anyone actually contacting me or providing a resolution.
The fault was reported just two days after purchasing the vehicle, yet I have had to repeatedly chase V12 myself. Your comments sound reassuring, but so far they have not been backed up by any action.

PLEASE AVOID THIS GARAGE - I purchased a vehicle from V12 and…
I purchased a vehicle from V12 and within days discovered several issues that should have been identified before the vehicle was sold.
The most serious concern was a tyre that had a significant gouge in it. Following advice from V12, I arranged an independent inspection at an approved VW dealership. The inspection confirmed that the tyre was damaged, the internal cords/threads were visible, and it was not roadworthy. In my view, the vehicle should never have been supplied in this condition, especially as they advertise all vehicles had undergone an AA inspection.
There were also a number of other issues, including being told before travelling to view the vehicle that it came with two keys, only to find at collection that it had one. Staff acknowledged incorrect information had been given, but no resolution was offered, other than a slight and I mean slight reduction in the overall price. In addition, two alloy wheels had significant damage which was not highlighted in the advert, the vehicle was overdue a service, and a broken metal trim around the gear selector was only discovered after returning home.
What has disappointed me most is not just the condition of the vehicle, but the way the complaint has been handled. I reported the problems within the first 30 days of ownership and raised concerns about the vehicle's roadworthiness. Despite this, V12 offered just £65 towards replacing a tyre that cost over £250 and which an independent inspection found to be unroadworthy.
The response I received repeatedly avoided accepting responsibility and ultimately stated that no further internal escalation was available. I was told that this was V12's final position despite the evidence provided.
I understand that used cars can have faults. What I do not accept is a vehicle being supplied with what was found to be an unroadworthy tyre and then being expected to cover most of the replacement cost myself.
The sales experience was pretty poor when purchasing the vehicle with the salesman being quite rude to my husband when he disagreed with a price to refurb the diamond cut alloys. I was also encouraged to leave a five-star review before leaving the dealership.
One thing you should definitely note is that if you do a valuation on your Part Exchange via the link they send you, you are told you will NOT be offered less that this and it is negotiable - WE WERE OFFERED £800 LESS!!! However soon came back to us as I had the screenshot to say they could match the quote!!!!
Based on my experience, I would not recommend V12. If you're considering buying from them, I would strongly advise looking beyond the initial sales experience and considering how issues may be handled after the purchase has been completed.
Update: As V12 has now confirmed this is their final position, I will be referring the matter to Trading Standards and seeking further advice regarding my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

AVOID!!!!
I purchased a Van from V12, and within the first 30 days of ownership the vehicle developed a serious AdBlue system fault.
The vehicle has now been unusable for weeks. I offered a reasonable alternative repair solution by having the vehicle inspected and repaired by another qualified garage, with V12 covering the costs. This proposal was rejected, and V12 insisted that the vehicle must be seen by a Renault main dealer. However, Renault cannot inspect the vehicle until mid-October, leaving me without a usable vehicle for an extended period.
What is particularly frustrating is that no courtesy vehicle has been offered during this time, despite the fact that the vehicle remains under warranty and is effectively off the road. I have been left without transport while being expected to wait several weeks for an appointment that is completely outside my control.
My understanding of UK consumer law is that repairs should be carried out within a reasonable time and without causing significant inconvenience to the customer. In this case, being left without a usable vehicle for weeks is causing exactly that. The fact that Renault’s waiting times are long should not simply become the customer’s problem.
Communication throughout this process has been poor. Responses have been slow, there has been little proactive effort to find a practical solution, and I have repeatedly had to chase for updates. While V12 has stated that it will cover the Renault diagnostic costs, that alone does not resolve the issue of being left without a working vehicle for such a long period.
I fully understand that faults can occur with any vehicle, even a relatively new one. However, the true measure of a dealership is how it handles problems when they arise. Based on my experience, the after-sales support has been disappointing, the communication has been weak, and I have been left carrying the burden of a problem that arose almost immediately after purchase.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend V12 based on the way this situation has been handled

Me and my partner Shirley came to the workshop branch to view a smart for two car and where greeted by the lovely Kye who was polite and professional with us, no pushy sales tak tiks or upselling just pleastent vibes! Met a few members of the team while at the branch like manager Dean who made us feel more than welcome and supplied endless cups of tea, Ryan who spoke to us about his staffie biggie (my partner loves dogs). We didn’t go ahead with the car in the end as we are not currently ready financially for a new car but we know where and who to go to when we are, thankyou v12 :)

V12 Sports and Classics Worksop.
Abi was helpful from the start, very friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a budget to stick to and she did her best to make sure we could. There was no hard sell with warranty etc.
She didn’t even complain at our sons driving during the test drive ( patience of a saint! )
This was our first time purchasing from V12 but based on this experience, I’d recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Great service from start to finish.
Many thanks from all of us, we have a very happy son in a very nice car.
I’ll be back for that Cosworth in the showroom ;)

Please avoid V12 Worksop
Please avoid V12 Worksop, Bought a car and 2 weeks later we had issues with the turbo. Garage didn't want to know. After going back and forth V12 took the car to investigate the fault and repaired the turbo, however 1 day later fault appeared again. To cut a long story short, the vehicle was taken 4 times for investigation. Bad customer service and after sales as they didn't want to know. Had to go through trading standards to put V12 back in their place. Luckily we know our rights. Think a million times before purchasing any vehicle from this place. 5 months of torture and stress this has caused us especially having 2 young children.
