What an awful company!!
I have just had a boiler installed and there is a manufacturing fault in the heat exchange water pouring in to it where the gas is - dangerous I'd say.
So for 5 DAYS I have no heating or hot water in the middle of December. Engineer spent 5 minutes in my house to tell me they don't carry the parts and would speak to his manager and left.
Customer service said the part is not in stock and they see if any engineers have one!! (They don't carry these parts). I was told I will get a call back in 24 hours. MY HOUSE MY FAMILY ARE FREEZING AND NO HOT WATER and no idea when this horrible situation will end. I will finish this email and will be seeking legal advise.

We booked an annual boiler service which should include a thorough inspection and cleaning of key components, including filters. If the filter was blocked within 30 days of having an annual services, it raises questions about the thoroughness of the initial service.
There was F75 Error Code: This error often indicates a problem with the water pressure sensor or pump. If debris was the cause, it should have been addressed during the service carried out 1-Nov 2024.
While not all systems come with a magnetic filter, it is a good recommendation for preventing debris build-up. However, the engineer should of suggested it during the service, it should have been noted and possibly addressed then, not wait until it broke down leaving my very elderly parents without hot water and no heating for two days.
The engineer which came out on 3 December to correct the issue, was very messy and water poured out everywhere on to the floor and furthermore lost the screws for the cover which is unacceptable. Professionalism and respect for the customer's home are basic expectations but not in this case.
Given these points, it seems reasonable to question the quality of the initial service. I initially asked for a refund but was refused as the service was carried out thoroughly, not to my surprise it wasn't. So basically they did not apologise. Very disappointed with the customer service we received. Will think about using them again.

I had problems with my heat pump due to bad work performance from the electricians installing it. This was in Norway. The electrician were from another company. But Vaillant helped me to find the problems so the electrical company could come back and fix the problem. Vaillant has very good knowledge and service.

Update:
I called back later in the day, and all my questions were answered by very friendly and professional people. I am not sure if I want to give the experience 3 or 4 stars, so I will give Vaillant the benefit of the doubt and go for 4. I still think it is very annoying that the answering machine goes straight to voicemail if it is busy. It makes we wonder if Vaillant will ever answer. It would be much nicer if it would just tell me it is busy and let me decide if I want to wait for 45 min or call back later. Than I would have been happy to give 5 stars.
