Jury out at the mo. Bought it as a throw over, but quite clearly would be best if it were attached to a fixed rail. Having a rail fitted now, but is an unexpected expense. The tent part of the aw... See more

Best service ever

Poor quality
I bought the Vango Skye 300 after my Gamma 250 gave up the ghost after many years of service. Attracted by the blackout bedroom which is meant to block out a high percentage of light. It doesn't. Plus the door between the porch and the accommodation area is like a fine net curtain which doesn't allow any warmth to be built up in the main area. Also, if you leave the main entrance open it doesn't feel very private once inside the main area. To get into the porch from the outside is a 2 zip affair. I've yet to reserve judgement on the waterproofness of the tent. All I know is that the inside of my new tent was seriously damp after a heavy dew. Condensation? Maybe. And the main tension straps allow about 5cm of adjustment either end and they don't easily adjust.
I got this tent as my home for 4 days…
I got this tent as my home for 4 days and nights whilst I worked as a medic at a festival.
During that time we had some severe wind and rain and I’m happy to say this tent didn’t have one drop of rain inside and stood well in the wind.
Only thing that could improve this tent would be a slightly bigger porch area.
But over all fantastic tent

Vango was once the goto company for outdoor equipment. Now they just knock out junk. How a company can choose this route, bewilders me.

Great products
Great products straight from the manufacturer. Really great and easy to get organised inside. Brilliant.
Shangri-la mattress
We have a Shangri-la mattress which we’ve used a few times a year for 5 years. While we love it (it has been soo comfy) it no longer inflates so isn’t usable anymore. This doesn’t seem like a long enough lifespan, especially given the high purchase price, and I feel really awful putting it into landfill!! Do you have any ways to fix or repair these mattresses or can you suggest ways to reuse /repurpose it to keep it out of landfill?
Vango Verona Airbeam Tent
We purchased a Vango Verona Airbeam tent from Camping and General in Canvey Island in 2018. Whilst camping in North Devon, on 5 August 2023 the entire roof of the middle section of the tent ripped apart completely and we had to cut our holiday short. Neither Vango or Camping and General will replace the tent. It is no longer usable. We paid £1200 for the tent and a couple of small add ins like the ground sheet
Very disappointed with this awning.
I'm really disappointed with this awning. The ground sheet is a nightmare to fit properly and doesn't stay in place. The awning bag is much too small. It's a nightmare to pack away and also very heavy. If it rains you have to have the windows shut because bar one window they are all mesh with no canopy to stop rain just pouring through them onto the floor. There's no canopy over the door so rain just comes in. You could use the exit that attaches to the van to come in and out but this means keep moving the side walls. This awning is a lot of money and really isn't a good design for camping. Very disappointed. Thanks for your reply. It's a VANGO AIRHUB HEXAWAY LOW II INFLATABLE AWNING 2022. Thank you

Tracking number barely legible/box damaged
Product is good- courier tried delivering once, but left very difficult to read tracking number.
Next day I was in for delivery, courier took photo of parcel in my hallway- when I upturned it ,it revealed the tape was cut- and so showing content to anyone.
Excellent service.
Quick speedy delivery
Great multi use awning
Vango air hex. This inflates in about 5 minutes with a foot pump( once you’ve remembered to close 2 of the 3 valves) it has withstood over 8 hours of up to 40mph winds on the Isle of Mull. Deflates quickly and easily and packs away if folded fairly neatly but with the oversized bags there’s room for mistakes.
VANGO Extremely poor quality
Extremely disappointed, we purchased a Vango Tuscany 380 just over 12 months ago and every time (3) we have used it one of the inner tubes has burst. As a result we have an awning which is completely unfit for purpose. The replacements cost us approximately £50.00 a time. So far this awning has cost us over a thousand pounds to buy And a further £150.00 for replacements. I intend to write a report to the Caravan and Motor Home Club to let people know just how poor Vango products are now. We have had a Vango awning before and only needed to replace one inner tube in about four years at a cost of approximately £36.00 that is fair enough but £50.00 per use is ridiculous.

Great fast service excellent product
Not resistant to strong winds
During strong winds in Cornwall the last pole boke in two places. I had to buy a new tent. I had a vango before and it had three entry's. This tent has one entry and I think that is a mistake. If the tent stands it is better when you can leave it on al less windy side.
Speedy delivery service
Speedy delivery service , I needed the item for a camping trip and it arrived in time . Another item ordered was the wrong size , no problem with return and refunded very quickly
Thanks Vango
