Terrible customer service
My tent is just 4 months old and the aluminium poles fuse tightly together when slotted in position. Pliers are needed to part them. Abysmal customer service they've offered me a 30% discount on a new set of poles. There's something wrong with them, they're almost new. Customer service now ignoring my emails. I used to highly rate Vango - not now.
Design, function and ease .
When a brand comes up to all expectations in build, function, design, and quality, you stick with it . My second purchase from Vango, and I am not disappointed . The first all season tent, did all seasons without any problems, over 8 years, then passed on for future use . This one will be the same. I am confidant.

Swift service. Excellent product. No need for noisy electric pump this manual one is amazing. Awning up in in Half an hour instead of hours.

Happy with the tent, great price on refurbished kit, one challenge I have is that they will only ship to the UK, so having to use a relative's CC and address to ship to is a pain (im in Ireland) - apart from that all good

So … my awning is still no good despite Vango sending me a new beam(leg) as a gesture of goodwill… how is it a gesture of goodwill if it’s faulty and in warranty ???
I emailed over a week ago and nothing.
I was away this weekend and had to take the awning down due to the forecasted rain. Otherwise the roof would have filled and brought the whole thing down.
Vango don’t want to know … the only company I know that doesn’t have a complaints team .

Good quality outdoor products
Purchased a tailgate airhub van awning and some lighting. Good quality products with excellent support and warranties.
We like being able to contact the retailer for help if needed but can also contact vango directly.
Groundsheet
I wasn't sure what groundsheet would fit my tent which had been discontinued and the team emailed me back quickly with what would be a good fit for my tent. I found it easily through the website and ordered and when it arrived it was ideal for what I wanted. The quality and price was good to.
My camping stove split its gas delivery…
My camping stove split its gas delivery hose and started venting burning gas out the tube. I turned it off and ate cold soup. When I wrote to Vango explaining that despite being 12 weeks out of warranty, the stoves had less than half a canister of gas put through it from new, and was always well cared for, could they help with a replacement? The response was avoidant and unhelpful. TWICE they simply repeated information which proved they had not even read my initial email, which wasn't exactly over-long! Quite apart from the fact the stove was downright dangerous, I felt that they just couldn't be bothered with me. They used to be a good company. I won't use them again. I'm sending the stove to Trading Standards... maybe Vango will bother to read THEIR email properly.
This tent is good until winds are 65mph
First time using the tent in the peak District at a site near castleton, gale force winds and torrential rain it held up pretty well all through the night pretty solidly. Got to 8am and it had had enough and one of the poles bent and one of em snapped and we had to pack everything away as it collapsed. Is a pretty sturdy tent until winds are gusting 65mph, would recommend for any use in calm to moderate weather, easy to put up with 2 people but for worse weather conditions tunnel tents aren't ones to use. (or just pitch it a bit closer to a wall)
We have a Vango Kela V Air Away Awning… and did not meet our requirements
We have a Vango Kela V Air Away Awning Low which was bought as the dimension state it is 310cm wide. the main area may be but the section to connect to awning rail is NOT. it is 240 cm. We also could not use the front curtain as it is between the inner mesh panel ( for air) and the plastic front window.
Whoever designed this awning has never used it for a week and we cannot use it again as the dimensions on the drawings are not the dimensions of the actual item.
We would like a full refund!

Airspeed tubes and poor customer service
Been waiting 6 days for Vango to get back to me re 2 new airbeam tubes that popped straightaway. The customer service site is hopeless and just says complaint being processed. Meanwhile 6 tubes down in 2 months at a cost of circa £200 the tubes are not fit for purpose. Holiday ruined no awning and nothing from Vango. Back to a poled awning for me and not Vango.
No confirmation of order
No confirmation of order. No notification of delivery date. Purchase was only found to have been taken to local post office after contavting Vango. No apology, no explanation. Would not buy from this seller again.
We have a VANGO Microlite Deluxe Chair…
We have a VANGO Microlite Deluxe Chair which we have really enjoyed using - it's easy to put up - comfortable to sit on - and lightweight.
Noticed we had lost a rubber foot cover :(
VANGO CAMPING SPARES were extremely helpful, sent me a replacement and now the chair is all complete again and ready for our next adventure!
Leaking air beam
Arrived at a site in Shrewsbury, on erecting the awning one of the air beams failed at a seam, I called Vango and spoke to David in customer services, he sent out a new air beam and 24hrs later it arrived and was installed, excellent customer service from David and Vango !!
