2. Furniture selected from the Library is for the user to determine the dimensions required according to the space that it would be placed in, exactly as you would in your real-life build, where standard sizes are rarely possible to be used.

This is a product that is still evolving - give it time!
This is a product that is evolving. Sure, it has lots of weaknesses and many reviewers make valid comments, but a lot of this is down to naivety on the part of the company and the product is definitely getting better with every release. I bought a lifetime subscription a couple of years back but put it aside after finding it too rough to be usable. Last week though, I tried out the latest version and was delighted to find how quickly and easily I was able to transfer the ideas in my head and on paper into a workable 3D image and from there, enhance and refine it; Even my professional campervan builder is impressed. Give Vanspace a bit of time, it already achieves the stated aim of allowing people to produce usable designs quickly, the bells and whistles will come later if we all continue to support it. Five stars will then become the norm!

not satisfied with the quality of the software
I appreciate the convenience of having prebuilt furniture and objects that are specific to the camper as well as specific camper models/versions with the right size. However, I am not satisfied with the quality of the software and I would like to share some feedback with you.
I am a software engineer and I have experience with different 3D tools and modeling tools. I have also watched all the documentation/tutorials you offer, but I find the features that Vanspace offers are quite limited and inadequate, such as:
No option to group multiple objects together
No option to use layers
No option to import/export designs in a user-friendly way (moving files into the folder is not a good solution)
No option to view and share the design online
No option to hide/show objects easily
I think this software has potential, but I think it is far from being software that can be commercialized and justify the cost of it. Therefore, I would like to request a refund and cancel my license.

Our software is dedicated to DIY van converters with ZERO design experience, and is intentionally simplistic however, is also packed with features that allows for amazing designs to be created.
a. We do provide a feature to group multiple objects together
b. Those with zero design experience, do not want to use complicated layering features (and they are complicated) There are multiple other software that more experienced users can design with that may not be dedicated to van conversion however they have taken the time to learn. We are confident that they would remain using their chosen software if they were happy with it.
With vanspace 3D it is important to us and our users that they are able to create their first design within the hour.
That being said, a very simple Layering type feature is in development right now as we always want to bridge the gap between Living design and complicated CAD software.
c. We appreciate your personal preference, however we are happy with how importing and exporting is completed.
d. We provide an in-software camera and Gif Maker however agree that we can look into other methods too.
e. Hide and reveal can be replicated using transparent textures applied to the specific objects when needed, and removed. A one stop button for this would become part of a simple layer feature we are working on in the future
It is important to differentiate between what we describe and show our software to be, versus an experienced designers personal preferences.

Absolutely been the biggest help with designing my bus build. Not a lot of bus options but there are more vans then bus brands out there so it’s totally understandable. These guys and girls do everything they possibly can to help you out when they get stuck and I just love that they are such genuine people seeking the same creativity. This also is the best way to explain to my partner how I want things so it’s saved a lot of arguments hahaha. Vanspace is constantly growing with new feautures and products and is making building quicker and easier each time. Thankyou legends!

Our refund process is quite simple and straight forward if experiencing any issues, however as you discovered, is not automatically given just because you contact and request one.
We are very clear that we will ask for specific information and then advise how to resolve the issue in the first instance.
It is extremely rare that we can not resolve as our software is a straight up app where not a lot can go wrong.
You reported two main issues, both would have the same cause as they are related to the software not correctly receiving the commands that you were giving.
This would be either an incorrect resolution being used (sometimes related to a second monitor being used) or Firewall permissions, and we requested more information about your set up which was refused.
It is a shame as our aim is always to help you get maximum performance from our software.

Terrible computer performance, okay for planning
Look, they don't pretend to sell this software to build a perfect model of your dream van. It is great for laying things out generally and see if you have the space for things and whatnot.
Don't leave it on in the background though, it is an incredibly innefficient software. I was wondering why my fan was so high, so I pulled up task manager and saw the software was using almost all my laptops gpu and a good portion of the cpu/memory just sitting in the background doing nothing. What processing could you possibly be doing? I would discuss this with your software engineers.

I would like to confirm the following details.
1. The software licence was purchased by a relative and in their name
2. You logged in using the relatives details.
3. You requested that it be transferred into your name
4. We requested that the original purchaser contact us to request that it be provided as a gift
5. The original purchaser confirmed this via the account email, a few days later
5. The account was transferred as a gift purchase, into your name as soon as this was received
6. We advised you of the change once done
The issue that you have had is that you have not cleared your browser cache, and the original account details can still be seen when logging into the dashboard.
Once you have cleared this, your browser will update and we have advised how.
The other issue that you have had is that you are using a program on your system to auto-fill login details, and this is still auto filling the original login details that you saved.
These are browser issues, not vanspace however we have given full support on how to resolve.
You have responded this morning to let us know that you may or may not follow our advice on how to resolve.
It is important to also note that you are still able to log in once you overwrite the autofill with the correct details
This is an inaccurate review of actual events and is easily resolvable if our advice is taken.

Well.. They got me!.. and its my own fault for not investigating it before buying.
If you are a serious builder, then this program is completely worthless.
They dont have my car as template, and i used the custom template maker... but thats pretty crappy too, since it doesnt go further then just an empty straight box.
Thy have a lot of items! thats a plus! but actually using using it and getting the electrics and plumbing correctly is worthless again. you can move the stuff around, but no contstraints and stuff.
so the software is not for me, but searching for refund policies I found their policies and it sucks..just like their software :')

For real van builders this software is still a piece of crap.. ..just my humble opinion. The only thing you can do is place items in a space.. its like building your house in the SIMS.. its nice to see, but its utterly useless when you actually want to build it.
they promised plumbing and electrics in version 3..but that doesnt work.
you cannot make drawings, cannot get schematics. its just a simple puzzle game.
nice for kids to play around but i'll just go back and use some usefull 3D programs like inventor/ solidworks or if you want some free software go use FreeCAD.

Regarding the custom template generator, you can be as creative or simplistic as you would like, and you can definitely go a lot further than just an empty straight box!

Not user friendly and not worth the money
I have compared
(1) working with an accurate 3d model and modeling the hole process in inventor, solidworks, 3dsmax
(2) working with a simplified model and working in sketchup (free)
(3) working in vanspace3d
From my opinion vanspace3d is not user friendly at all, and if i would have had the possibility to test the software before buying it if would have never bought. it. There are just so many options where i put on a frown, e.g., the scaling of cars. If the software producers are so convinced of their software, than please publish a demo version and check your sale numbers afterwards. And the possible buyers: just take sketchup for free

The other software that you mention are really not comparable and a very important factor is that they are time consuming and very hard to learn for someone without experience.
Vanspace is not and if following our Beginners Software Courses, unlike those mentioned, you will be completing your first layout within 1 hour.
The option to scale a pre-made template is provided however, don´t overlook creating a custom template instead. These give you total creativity freedom and very easy to create the initial basic template.
With a custom, you can be as detailed as creative as you would like and make an amazing design.

The "Refund Policy" available on the website essentially states that there is NO refund. This is not surprising since the product looks good only in ads while in reality, it lacks a lot of functionalities available in other 3d software.
And the fact there is no way to test it before buying makes it a borderline scam

As the only 3D design software dedicated to van conversion, the features provided are those needed to create amazing layouts.
Our refund policy clearly states that should a technical issue be experienced that we can not resolve by way of guidance or a software update, we will refund.
I recommend getting in touch with our support team to describe what you feel is missing, as I am confident this is based on a lack of understanding of vanspace 3D, where features can not be compared to another software.

But thankfully I came here first and even if the application was perfect with all van models I can’t support a company who treats its customers the way I’ve seen here.

Bought the lifetime license in 2021. Was quite happy with the product. It's limited but allowed me to brainstorm quickly before working things out in CAD.
They now de-activated my LIFETIME account and told me I had only purchased a year license and that now I would have to pay another 59USD!!!!

The lifetime licence add on was presented to you on screen and was not selected.
To repurchase a one year licence at the moment is $27 so I am unsure where you have got the figure of $59, unless you are looking at Business licences?
This is not deserving of a one star review but sadly is allowed by Trust Pilot even though the information reviewed is incorrect.
It is also a great shame that you have not been able to accept the original information that we have provided you with, as you had been enjoying using the software and had some bonus free time also.
The one year licence at your time of purchase was $19, the Lifetime add on was an addition $8 if selected. Your receipt reflects your purchase of $19

The new revised software update is just as rubbish as it was before the update. Just crap software. Don't buy this software. It is rubbish. They would not refund under any circumstance, even though i only logged on a few times (with one of those times being to request a refund) and i didn't even have for a month, not even a month. EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: Lying in your response will not help your situation. You did not have an option for a mirror in November of 2022. I definitely asked for help in your useless Facebook group and the tutorial links you send to everyone’s endless questions about your horrible program are not always helpful. Keep saying how everyone loves your program, lol. The proof is on the internet. Everyone will look you up on Reddit and other platforms after reading this review and see that 9 out of 10 of your reviews are negative. They will see I am not exaggerating.

Packed with features? Yea, features from 1985. Trying to line up a couch or bed against the wall is so annoying, even after watching a tutorial on how to do it. You have a million useless objects to add to vans, but I couldn’t find a simple mirror (maybe you’ve added one since Nov. 2022 when I got the program, but it wasn’t there then). You have a freaking cat bed, but not a mirror. And I couldn’t find a fridge my size. Clearly, I’m a real customer. I responded to your trust pilot request for more information and provided my invoice number because I couldn’t find a reference number. I definitely contacted your support and asked for a refund that was refused. And I’m definitely in your correct Facebook group. To prove it, I can tell you that on 03.06.23 you made a post about an issue your program is having with objects floating. Also, you have bad reviews on other platforms besides trust pilot. Have you googled yourself? Check out Reddit. Plenty of people dislike your program. I’m not trying to hurt your business. You just need to create a better product that is more in line with computer programs of the 21st century. People saying your program is too difficult or complicated are just saying that it’s too cumbersome to do the most basic things, not that it’s some complex high tech program.

The program looks cool in the YouTube ad, but it looks ancient when you’re using it. My dad said it was like one of the computer programs he used when computers first came out in the 80’s, or whenever, & he is not exaggerating. It’s soooooo basic. You have to redownload the entire program every time there’s an update, which is annoying.
They also didn’t have my vehicle on their platform, so I had to create the dimensions myself and it was not user friendly. Like everyone else has said, they refuse most refunds, which is understandable since so many people end up disliking the program after purchasing it and they’d probably go broke from all the refunds they’d issue. The Facebook group is useless. Van Space, I’m sure you’ll say otherwise in your response to my review & mention all the happy customers who love your program, but from your trust pilot score, it’s clear many (maybe even most) people are dissatisfied with this program. Your responses to the many complaints your receive on trust pilot accept no responsibility for selling such a crappy program. You need to get with the century and create a 2023 program. Yes, we all saw what we were getting in the YouTube ad and on the website, but your website and ads make your program look much better than it actually is.
My dad ended up drawing out the dimensions on graph paper and now we’re almost done with the build, no thanks to Van Space.

Since launching in January 2020 we have received 219 Trust Pilot reviews, which equates to less than 2 per week out of the hundreds signing up daily.
75% of reviewers here have selected a one star for multiple reasons such as the most basic password reset email not being located ( very easily resolved ) to finding the software, too hard, too easy, too basic, too technical and many other contradictory reasons.
There have also been genuine reviews that have needed us to look into and we have been in touch to resolve any technical issue being experienced.
7% rewrite their reviews when we have been able to resolve their issue, 93% don´t.
Some reviews here are reviews of reviews without ever using our software, which is bizarrely allowed with Trust Pilot.
Trust Pilot really isn't the place for digital content providers, you only have to look at Apple and Microsoft reviews here. Thats whey we do not place any faith in the scoring system at all.
What we do concern our selves with are the comments and feedback as it is very valuable.
Our software has been created for those embarking on their first van conversion, needing to be able to try out multiple layouts but with out any 3D design experience at all.
Thats why you may think our software appears basic, it is supposed to and with the real feedback that we receive from people using it right now, we know that they are finding it an invaluable tool.
What you haven't mentioned is that it is packed with features, the same ones that were shown to you when you were going through the purchase process.
You watched a lengthy recording of the software in action creating a layout which could not have been missed, you can not go on to purchase without seeing it.
This was created using the exact same software that we supplied you with so it is impossible for it to look any different.
Our Facebook group is called Vanspace 3D Community, there are a few other groups not connected to our company called Van Space, that we have no control over. Our Community is a great place with many layouts being shared by our users.
I am sorry to hear that you had issues creating a template and am not sure if you had contacted us about this?
If so we would have asked for more details about your model, and let you know if it was possible.

UPDATE
Our software is indeed packed with features that were not available in 1985, and allows you to create mirrors or any other object required, adjust any object including a fridge to your required dimensions ( or create your own ) use 2D mode, grab and snap, the grid and world space features for alignment.
To clarify; a mirror can be created out of 3D shapes easily
Cat beds have been a popular request, mirrors have sadly not hence not being a premade object
We would also have loved the opportunity to give more in-depth help on how to make use of the many features, as it does seem that you have been limited greatly without knowing exactly how to achieve what you want.
We also have many great reviews on the platforms that you mention, every single review no matter what are valuable to us, we are also in a great place to understand what our users need and want v what they are achieving at the moment (fantastic layouts)
Our support team are experts in the software and should we have been aware that you were stumbling due to features that you were not aware of, we would have been able to help sooner.

lifetime subscription lies and deceit
I got the lifetime subscription and the program didn't work on my computer, so I drew it out by hand and asked for a refund. They did not refund and deleted my account, rude thieves.
I had videos and error message screen shots proving my point, id love to post it all in here but pictures are not supported sadly. I have every email sent including the first three support requests being closed before getting a response. I never got to use the program to review its usability. I now view these people as money grabbers, money grabbers make me feel sick.

This sounds very strange as a refund will always be granted if software login has not occurred.
We also never delete an account unless a refund has been provided, otherwise account access naturally closes at the end of the purchased period.
You mention error messages which would only appear if having issues downloading or logging in, both would mean that software access did not occur and so you would have been fully entitled to a refund.
I would like to look at all communication that we have received from you however we do not have any account created under the name of Set Dnas.
