I would give 0 stars if I could
I would give 0 stars if I could! I have been with Vodafone for 12 years! I never minded the occasional glitches and poor coverage in many places/regions. But, I have been to the physical shops, and every visit, it's always at least 1-2 hours, they never knew what the problem was, constantly being told I'' don't have an account'', ''are you sure if Vodafone is the provider'', and ''do you even have an account??''. Today, I found out that a genius somewhere messed up my DOB, this is despite my many visits to the shops, speaking and getting verified by numerous staff members, however, it still managed to bypass everything/everyone? What is the point of 100ID points and being verified in person??

I ordered a new phone online, big mistake
I ordered a new phone online, the website stipulated that orders placed before 12pm would be dispatched the same day and delivered the next day. The phone was listed as in stock and my order was confirmed as approved at 10.10am, I even checked the delivery date by entering my postcode and next day delivery was confirmed.
It did not happen, the Australia Post label was created many hours later with notification that delivery would be on the 18th. that is not delivery the next day. I was not able to stop the delivery and pickup, instead, as I was not home for the delivery and my partner couldn't sign for the phone, I had to wait a week to go and pick up. If I new this would happen I would have picked up the phone in the first place. I have previously ordered online from Vodafone and received the next day. My closest store is Cranbourne, should have picked up rather than being stuffed around.
The chat team were useless, it took my enquiry to be passed around 4 people over 30 minutes to get a clear explanation and apology.
Not good enough, customer service and misleading website information are a primary reasons to move provider.
I have had enough of no signal in shops where people on Telstra or Optus network do.
Classic example of you get what you pay for.
and now Vodafones crap response to this review trying to make it look like they are doing something when there is no intention to rectify their inability to provide what is promised during the order process.

Incompetent Customer Service
Let me share some personal experience from my end and I believe there is a good reason for this 1 star rating.
Context: I have 3 NBN service plans with NBN across 3 properties. One of my tenants wants to switch their Internet plan to another company, which is fine hence I raised a request to disconnect their service.
Afternoon (around 2pm) of 12th of June, I noticed my bill for May 10th - June 10th bill is not correct and it still included the disconnected service. Gives customer service team a ring and request to adjust the bill and re-disconnect the one I requested last month. This customer service person disconnected the wrong property (2nd one) and told me it can not be reconnected until 24 hours after! That's fine, it's a Friday afternoon and mistakes happens, I will wait. In the meantime, I have contacted my my tenant who stays to inform them about the situation.
Afternoon (around 2pm) of 13th of June, after exactly 24 hours, I dialed in again to speak with customer service, found out no action was done for the re-connection hence I asked the support to raise a request to reconnect. This person told me she has raised a new request to re-connect and Internet can be re-connected in the next few or up to 4-5 hours. Fine, they are working on it, I will wait.
Evening (around 8pm) of 13th of June, I received a call back from a support team and they told me because 'the line is not free' and the person I spoke to this afternoon raised a WRONG request hence I will have to wait until tomorrow morning (14th of June) to get my Internet back.
Great, now my tenant can complain to me about their weekend without any Internet for 2 days.
From my personal experience, there are already many mistakes happened with my Vodafone.
1. Incorrect disconnection of NBN services leadings to wrong bill
2. Unfamiliar and Under-trained staff member to execute critical business/technical processes
3. Incompetent staff member to handle situation for fast remediation when customer's life is impacted
Hope my experience helps rest of you who are reading this. DOUBLE CONFIRM the address with the agent even through chatbox window so you don't lose your internet for 2 days because someone incompetent disconnect your Internet services.

I visited the Port Adelaide Vodafone…
I visited the Port Adelaide Vodafone store on Tuesday. The guy who attended me ( his name is Rushabh ) was just great. He went to a great effort to provide me what I needed and to ensure I was satisfied before I departed the store. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He is a great reminder why I choose to be with Vodafone.

I tried to purchase an NBN FTTP…
I tried to purchase an NBN FTTP internet package primary to run my business. But there was very little help from their customer online consultants in the end! After originally being offered a discounted 740 Mbps HomeFast+ internet package for $72 for the first 12 months which sounded appealing. I accepted the offer along with a review and re-shuffle of the plans of my 3 mobile phone contracts. The original sales consultant I must admit was very helpful and reassuring. We went ahead and proceeded with the order, a technician arrived a week later only to inform me that the FTTP could not be installed due to certain minor installation difficulties. In other words it fell into the ' Too hard basket' for the technician. For whatever reason my order was completely cancelled and forgotten about after already receiving the free modem! So I now have this modem sitting here that I cannot use all because Vodafone just disbanded the order whilst I wait for a reply by someone to explain to me exactly on what is actually going on!! After numorous attempts to ask the online consultants in regards to this situation, no one seems to know, or even remotely care about my original order! A recent conversation my order has been completely lost in an assumption that my order was presumed 'cancelled', to which I never concurred to. The customer service consultant has originally explained to me over the phone shortly after the useless technician has been to our premises that my order will be temporarily suspended until Vodafone management can figure out on what to do, and how to resolve this issue! Off course I did not hear back from Vodafone, not an email, text, phone call nothing!! So I have therefor given up trying to proceed any further and waste anymore of my time with trying to get NBN FTTP from Vodafone, and will be pursuing other avenues. It saddens me to say that Vodafone customer service has really gone downhill in the last 2 years since dealing with them previously with my mobile plans. I have originally ended up on the Vodafone network by default after being a customer with the now defunct 3 network, and before that with Orange! Customer service with Vodafone was excellent in their earlier days, but since merging with the TPG Telecom have now gone to the bottom of the barrel. I now shall be pursuing other avenues soon with our 3 mobile plans to another service provider and internet sign up with a provider that actually cares and values their customers! Make no mistake, Vodafone Australia is not the same company as is the case with Vodafone Europe, being one of the largest in the world, they are a totally different company altogether. Regardless of how good of a deal Vodafone Australia does today, their customer services (most likely offshore based) is very hard deal with in terms of language barrier making it hard to understand because of their lack of fluent English. Then the constant forgetfulness of the task at hand, that is simply not good business practice in today's business world. I am too in the customer business, and one thing is for sure is that you don't treat your customers as just another number. Sadly and Unfortunately, I as a business owner can no longer rely to do business with Vodafone again!!

AUSTRALIA'S WORST MOBILE PLAN
This is the worst mobile plan I have ever chosen. The network coverage is extremely poor, and I frequently experience little to no signal. Unfortunately, it has been a complete waste of money, and I am very disappointed with the service.

So many issues
So many issues. Can't access the website if you have a VPN. Checkout process to buy a SIM almost makes you feel like they don't want you to buy one. SIM arrived with no instructions on how to activate it. Had to spend an hour on the phone (2026?) to get it done and to port my phone. Can't login, get a recursive experience with a password reset process page that errors. I hope once I'm set up, things work and I never need help.

Well done HR, Over and Above!
I’m really blown away at the overall score Vodafone has here @ Trustpilot as I have had not one bad experience with them the past 4 years. I was with Optus for 21 years before migrating and have been treated like a Blue Blood by every team member I’ve ever spoken to @ Vodafone. I’ve been given quotes and never locked in to prices that near beat anything I’ve ever seen offered by their competitors. Was served today by Aditya, who could not have helped me any more in any way at all over and above his impressive service - the prompt that sent me here to write a report of my own experience and express how impressed I am with their customer service. I can understand people do not like Telcos in general as they hound citizens to pay their bills and life gets difficult etc etc but if you’re polite to the bill hunters I’m sure Vodafone would possibly be the most reasonable of the bunch that hound! It must be inherent within the company’s training program - so well done to their HR dept. 5 stars all the way in my experience, hope anyone reading this has the quality experience I have had also.

Disgraceful Vodaphone Service.
Disgraceful customer service from Vodaphone Australia. I recently purchased two I Phone 17 Pro from them and one had a faulty motherboard after 4 months. Apple diagnosed the fault and suggested I contact Vodaphone for assistance. I was told it is a Major fault and I am entitled to a brand new phone. The Vodaphone store sent the phone away and the Manager said he was 99.8 percent certain they would send down a brand new phone. I was given an old loan phone to use which I appreciate, but it has now been going on for over a month and the situation still not resolved. The phoned and said a brand new phone had arrived, so I went to the store and it was a refurbished phone. I told them I did not wait a month for a refurbished phone and they offered no assistance. I have made countless phone calls and each time I have to explain myself and they offer no assistance. Finally last week I went to the store and we contacted their Customer Care Centre. The phone disconnected, so I phoned back again and I was told they would agree to a brand new phone. They transferred me to another department to make sure I didn't get charged again and I was told to wait 4-5 days for it's arrival at the store. Today is a week later, so I telephoned Vodaphone and nobody has any record of the conversation and they are now trying to offer me a discount off my plan instead of the new phone they promised. - Appalling customer service!!! I don't recommend them to anyone.

Vodafone are nothing but smooth talking…
Vodafone are nothing but smooth talking liars, they don't keep their promises, half of them don't know what they are doing. I haven't had internet coverage for more than a month. They blame the modem. Waited weeks for a modem, received very late and promised wifi 7 but received wifi 6 refurbished. I work with vulnerable homeless people and constantly getting disconnected it is disgusting. I have multiple screenshots of 0 - 10 internet download speed test. Then prey on people saying that the issue has been progressed to level 2 but you can't be put through to level 2 escalations you have to wait for them to call you. More lies. It has been days and days and no phone call has been received from escalations and tied to this imprisonment of thievery where they take your monthly fee but have no internet issues resolved. My issue here vodafone is that you are not even trying to assist, you are just useless and let's not start with your lies of increasing my monthly phone bill for better network and nothing has changed. Still as shitty as ever, you sold me on bull crap that double coverage which wasn't true for suburban regions and I can't wait till my contract is over to be free from you!!!!!! I have insufficient internet to be able to do my job and you should be so ashamed. Next steps will be my own escalations via appropriate channels.

City experience with no connection call/sms messages
I can't believe that we experience with Vodafone poor network connection in the city only. Way back early years they were very good and reliable network even on prepaid. We were in Hay City at Pancakes that couldn't call get / send sms messages with no connection.

Use to have constant drop outs mid conversation all over Melbourne. Reported it but was told it was my phone. Bought another phone but still had the problem.Changed to another company but had the same issue.Discovered that Vodafone was their carrier.Changed to another company who use Telstra.Never had the problem again!
Michael at the Paine Vodafone branch…
Michael at the Paine Vodafone branch was exceptionally courteous, composed, and patient in his responses. He is truly a kind, polite, and attentive person, and I feel it is only right to express my gratitude to him in this way. Because of these wonderful qualities, I wholeheartedly recommend Michael to everyone — I would say: only buy from Michael, no one else. Michael is simply the best!
My experience with VodafAvoid Vodafone – Serious Issues with Cancellation and Billingone customer…
My experience with Vodafone customer service has been extremely disappointing.
On 17 April 2026, I contacted Vodafone via chat to reconfirm my outstanding balance, which I paid in full via BPAY on the same day. During that interaction, I clearly requested for my account to be cancelled and my number to be ported to another service provider.
When the number transfer did not proceed, I contacted Vodafone again and was informed that the account had not been cancelled. I was then required to repeat the entire process and once again requested cancellation and porting.
Now, over a month later, I have received an additional invoice for approximately $300 and have again been advised that the service was never cancelled.
This level of mismanagement and lack of accountability is unacceptable. The repeated failures in processing a simple cancellation request, combined with poor customer support and an unreliable network experience, have made this one of the worst telecommunications experiences I have encountered.
I would strongly caution others before choosing Vodafone, regardless of how attractive their offers may appear.

Absolute TRASH
Absolute TRASH ! App new login setup doesn't work, codes are invalid, it harvests data, forces ID registration, create password form glitches, can't log in on app, cant check balance, cant change billing. Tried to register on website instead, website doesn't work. So now I'm locked out of account, still paying but cant adjust billing. For an international brand with decades of expertise this is an utter disgrace!
