My foreign sim card has better coverage…
My foreign sim card has better coverage in Barcelona than local VodafoneES. Also, if you're on pay as you go, they will throttle your data speed 2 days before you need to top up! Scammy is a polite way to describe their "service" that barely works as a minimum.
DO NOT APPROACH
Probably the worst company ever dealt with -
Took a phone (2 lines), internet (600mb), Netflix, Disney, Prime and MAX for the price of 49€ per month. My first bill was 102€ second bill 76€ thirds bill 92€. Called daily as internet not working and wrongly billed. Absolutely no customer service. Shocking customer service, rude and putting the phone down, no managers, not possible to speak to anyone.
At the end I had to recall all the money paid via my bank (successfully) and moved to a different provider.
This company has an overall 1 star review after thousands people like me got screwed over.
NOT RECOMMENDED
Truly incredible that upon trying to change services they called me over 15 times in less than two days, from morning to night (this is before I blocked the number...), with all kinds of offers in order to retain the service. Upon kindly expressing that for cost reasons I would like to proceed with a change, in each interaction they became rude and persistent, insisting and offering a TV, a 75% permanent discount (far beyond a modest reduction in price that I had called to request years before with little sympathy), a new phone, bundled tv services..the list goes on. In each case I kindly communicated that I am just going through the process to change to a different provider - at which point they began to claim that I would be opening myself up to security vulnerabilities and foregoing one of the best services in the market etc etc.....Now, I am trying to return my router and I am running into the same type of game playing and rudeness. Maybe this company should spend some time improving the cost-benefits to their actual clients and ensuring their service is easy and understandable, rather than a labrynth of preferential discounts depending on who you negotiate with....instead of aggressively aiming to retain those who are moving to alternative services.
If I could give a 0 star I would.
If I could give a 0 star I would.
The service has been bad since day one.
Vodafone sent someone to install the broadband, who was rude and he swore whilst on the job. When working from home I noticed the reception was poor. I complained and they sent the same person who changed the router, but things got worse as he left me without internet at the back of the flat, and couldn’t have cared less. I had to complain again, which was awful as each time I had to keep calling, and the customer service was terrible. I eventually got one guy who was knowledgeable and respectful he agreed to send another engineer. The whole installation problem took almost 2 weeks. Finally, the internet was left working both at the front and back of the flat.
However, I have just seen my bill and they’ve charged me for the engineer visit. Vodafone didn’t even have the courtesy of letting me know in advance. They just took money from my account at their pleasure.
I can’t wait to leave this company their broadband is slow and their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Thankfully a year goes fast.
I wish I’ve heard all the people who told me not to use it, so disappointing I thought better of them for some reason, maybe because of their prices which are not cheap. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.
Worst home internet I have seen in…

Persistent and unsolicited communication
I’ve never been a client of Vodafone Spain, yet I’ve received repeated calls and SMS messages from them. Despite clearly and politely requesting that they stop contacting me, the messages have continued. This persistent and unsolicited communication feels intrusive and unprofessional. Overall, it’s been a frustrating and disappointing experience.
The worst company ever to deal with
The worst company ever to deal with, they have a robot as customer service that is useless , just like vodafone

This is definitely the worst company on…
This is definitely the worst company on the planet by far!!! I have had the most unpleasant experience with this company and I am not surprised that I see a total score of 1.1 out of 5 here. It is quite embarassing, there is no dignity and grace but they only care about the miserable little profit they can make by tricking the customers… It is such a shame that the UK Vodafone teamed up with the Spanish branch… The way it goes I would see them going bankrupt soon!

______
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your store. I have been a prepaid Vodafone customer for nearly two years, and I recently visited one of your stores with the intention of purchasing an iPhone 16 Pro with instalments and transitioning to a contract plan. However, I was informed that I would need to be on a contract for 3–6 months before being eligible for this purchase.
This information was both surprising and frustrating, as I had previously reviewed Vodafone’s website, where no such condition was mentioned. Based on the information available online, I believed that I would be eligible to transition from prepaid to a contract plan immediately. The lack of transparency in your marketing and communication has led to a poor customer experience and a significant inconvenience on my part.
I find this situation to be misleading and disappointing, as I expected clearer guidelines and a more seamless transition process. As a result of this negative experience, I am now considering leaving Vodafone and seeking services from another provider that offers better transparency and customer support.
I would appreciate an explanation regarding this policy and why it is not clearly communicated on your website. Furthermore, I urge Vodafone to improve its marketing and customer information to ensure that customers are not misled in the future.
The worst carrier ever
Vodafone España doesn't deserve even a single star. First they have hidden tricks included in contract so nobody would be able to separate lines or dar baja for 2 years. The number I use is the additional number under contract that is on my friend's name and I wanted to change it under my name, only my number, they have been 'doing' the process for months, then somehow the whole process was canceled and all different service operators tell us different things. It's hell dealing with them and I am gonna sue them in the fraud and customer misleading!
Vodafone spain a big scandal!!
Living in Spain as an foreigner i would highly recommend everybody NOT to go with vodafone. You wont get any help, not from the stores ánd dont expect help from their customer service as they wont pick up nor actually help. Had an call appointment on last week monday as they said we will call you and help you. Waited for a week now and trying to reach out to them but obviously no help from their side but ofcourse they keep asking for the monthly payment. What a joke!
Save yourself the trouble …
Save yourself the trouble and don't consider Vodafone. I changed to Vodafone because I wanted internet with my phone. I should never have done that. Although they guarantee you the best signal, you are likely to have no signal, especially everytime you enter a building. This is different from other services I have used.
It is easy to sign up in the store but from then on everything becomes a nightmare. All correspondance from here has to go through the call center which are completely inaudible in English.
Youu sign up for a year and have to pay a "fine" if you cancel earlier. I tried to cancel my subscription and was promised this would be done, but after a while I became suspicious. It turned out that they hadn't canceled my number. I had to get help from a store who initially refused to help me, but after I explained the problem i.e. inaudibility in English, bad sound quality and failure to process my request, they agreed to help me by calling the call center themselves. Now, I have a final bill and they need my new account number so that I can pay the bill. However, after countless attemps there is no resolution, no response, no replies. But when they wanted my customer review, they wrote me several times a week. Stay far away from Vodafone is my advise.
This Vodafone ES is a nightmare

Bad signal for phone and internet
Bad signal for phone and internet. I have a Dual sim and Movistar are more or less always full reception where Vodafone rarely worked. Went wanting to cancel I was bombarbed with sales people trying to get me to stop cancelling. I had to block 8 Numbers and write their Instagram support constantly - but no help. I still get text offers from them and their opt out page doesn’t work.
No internet access
Internet access doesn't work at all, even in big cities like Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga. Bad signal reception.

The worst carier I have ever had
The worst carier I have ever had. After few months last paying money to service they have deleted my account (deactivating) my SIM card, without any prior warning. Can be reactivated, but not for top up, but with agreement. And........ they did it second time. So I will not provide them my bank account for being charged for ANY amount. I don;t trust them at all. Previously they stole 90 E from an account after 4 month not taking money, and they the closed line (deactivated) SIM card without any prior warning. What a shame. I'm going to competitor
